Georgia anti-psychiatry legislator goes even bigger for Scientology in the pandemic

Remember Donzella James? We told you in January that mental health advocates were unhappy that the Georgia legislator, who made a speech at the Atlanta Scientology Ideal Org grand opening in 2016 and endorsed its quack anti-psychiatry efforts, was appointed by the state’s lieutenant governor to an important panel that is overhauling Georgia’s mental health approach.

And now, a tipster pointed out that James is going all-in for Scientology in the time of the coronavirus, endorsing its public relations push for “sanitation teams,” in this case going around to other churches and offering to kill the virus in the name of Xenu or something.

Senator James connects religious leaders in an effort to make worship possible and safe again very soon. She helped announce the fact that The Church of Scientology Atlanta has offered to sanitize sanctuaries around town with a fog machine they have to combat against germs and viruses. The solution utilizes a soap to cut through grease followed by hydrogen peroxide to kill germs and viruses.

Well, that’s fine. But can the state of Georgia really afford this Scientology shill being anywhere near its mental health obligations?

Meanwhile, in other pandemic news, Scientology leader David Miscavige’s white elephant, the Scientology TV Channel, admits that it can’t shoot new shows under lockdown, so it’s making the best of it by asking Scientologists stuck at home to film themselves doing basically nothing…

And more sanitation safepointing, this time in Ontario and heck, let’s bring along a child VM, too…

Speaking of kids, check out this actual caption: “Meanwhile in Scotland a kid of our new ideal generation goes to the org and…. Big happy birthday Mikey. You are super kind!!! If you want to join Mikey in this game for his ideal org, for his birthday… since he was so generous with his birthday money.. .
just click here to do a flow”

From an actual caption: “With over 200 volunteers and 75,900 volunteer hours, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers have sanitized 2,208 buildings which is 1,785,596 sqm2, a total of Car sanitized 3,011 which includes Police Cars 1,110, Ambulances and paramedic vehicles 80, Fire engines 29, Taxis 1,326, NPO vehicles 325 ext. The Stay Well Booklets handed out to individuals 22,752. Over 2,364,130 individuals have been directly assisted and through social media & radio, we have reached over 10 million individuals in South Africa alone.”

Even more good news from South Africa: “Good news! **AOSH AFRICA*. We did it again! The highest ever SOLO-auditing hours! More then 30 completions between HGC and Academy. BASICS extension courses: 850 active students, 150 starts, 40 completions and 1500 lessons were sent. Thank you to everyone helping and let’s keep going! Please make sure that all Scientologists are on extension courses! This will create our future OTs.”

“Today I’m going to talk to you severely. Ordinarily I jolly you along, you know, and everybody looks… Well, I hate to be this severe, but you are on the edges of the great adventure. And this separates the sheep from the goats, man. And separates the children from the characters who can do it. And you are adventured upon a period of auditing which requires far more precision, auditor presence and TRs than any auditing we have ever had. There’s certain ways to do this right, and there’s certain ways to do it wrong. The number of ways to do it wrong far exceed the ways to do it right. Any time you have somebody in training, he can always invent some new ways to do it wrong, but it’s very, very funny that he never invents — almost never — some way to do it right. Because the odds are very bad. The truth of the matter is that the auditing which you are embarked upon is in actual fact simpler than you would believe and simpler than you will believe for some time. And the main thing you are doing with it is far too much complication. That’s all. Just the complexities you’re adding into it are defeating you. And you’re taking too much time to accomplish what you’re accomplishing.” — L. Ron Hubbard, May 2, 1963

Overheard in the FreeZone

“Before, I was part of a very known group of Indies on the Internet. Hard core, highly trained, Tech wise and Admin wise old-timer Scientologists. Very good guys indeed. When I told their leader about Ron and his new tech, she made a point to be ‘honest’ and demonstrate to me that he was a crook, a con man, and that the floor was going to drop under my feet. Wow, frightening, really frightening! Well, I never had so much wins in my 40-year career as a Scientologist.”
