Guy White opens his big mouth: The former Hubbard family member spills on Scientology!

It was great that Guy White, ex-husband to Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard’s daughter Suzette and father to their three children, decided to go public with his life in and out of Scientology, and in a big way. He got a big Daily Mail piece, and within hours we published our own interview with him. And now, he’s done his first podcast, with our man Jeffrey Augustine.

Guy and Jeffrey range over a number of topics about Guy’s experience as a Hubbard family member. In this first of several parts, they go over how he first met Suzette and then got married shortly after L. Ron Hubbard died in 1986, and how he was in a position to see how the family members were cut out of Hubbard’s great accumulation of wealth. “They were effectively disconnected from their father and Mary Sue was essentially treated as an SP,” Jeffrey tells us, referring to Hubbard’s third wife, who died in 2002. Guy White got to know Mary Sue in her later years like few others, and he explains what he saw as her son-in-law and father to her grandchildren.

Give it a listen!

Leaked document of the day

From the Valley Org documents release comes this item.

Here’s a very recent (2017) document from the Valley Org which is a report written by a Scientologist trying to convince his colleagues that he’s showed enough initiative to be allowed back in the group after being punished. It’s called a “liability formula,” and after you’ve looked it over, we have some comments from our tech expert Sunny Pereira to help us understand what we’re looking at.

Liability Formula 8/22/2017

[Name redacted]

1. Decide who one’s friends are.

Scientologists who keep their ethics in on all dynamics. Staff members at any mission, Class V Org, Sea Org Org, or other standard scientology affiliated group. Any Field Staff Members, or person who helps and supports Scientology and Scientologists.

2. Deliver an effective blow to the enemies of the group one has been pretending to be a part of despite personal danger.

I bought my Auditor Training and Materials, and my Objectives in the HGC. The reason I bought these services was to handle my own case and make myself able to help others handle their own reactive mind through auditing. The personal danger for this, was that I had to borrow all this money ($48,000) to pay for my services. I have also had to completely rearrange my schedule so that I could go in session on my sec check and work. Which is the only two things I have been doing since having been assigned my lower conditions.

I went in on my Leaving Staff Sec Check (Which I paid for) 4 hours a day until I finished it. This lasted for around 2-3 weeks. This is was personal danger, Because I had to rearrange my work schedule, and didn’t make as much money as I could’ve, if I had stuck to my Previous schedule. I then did my entire KR handling which was lengthy, as it consisted of multple M9’s, doing the entire Way To Happiness Course, 2 clay demos, and other forms of word clearing.

I have tried for 2 years to get my mother on the bridge. I have dealt with some antagonism from my family about Scientology. It was brought up on multiple occasions on how I was PTS because of this antagonism, which also made it very difficult for me to be on staff.

When I got my lower conditions assigned, I coordinated with two sea Org members from the basics call-in unit to meet with my mom about her basics and her bridge. One of them went to her house and she ignored them and did not answer the door.

I then drove over to my mom’s house and got my mom to let him in. He then proceeded to talk with my mom for two hours about her bridge and basics. My mom was then VGI’s about Scientology and doing her bridge. Two weeks later she secured her training package at Celebrity Centre and her full basics package. My sister who also has only done her Purification rundown is no on her SRD at Celebrity Centre. This also created a change in my Dad as well, because he now is seeing My Mom, sister, and I flourishing and prospering. He has stopped making any antagonistic comments and has actually had a lot of ARC for me recently.

The personal danger in this situation was potentially upsetting my mom, sister, and Dad and having my Mom continue to be blown as a scientologist and not doing any of her bridge.

I bought in a Blown ASHO Public, so he could get his court of ethics and then sort out his SRD Schedule.

I called a blown public, to come into Pasadena. He came in and sorted out his financial situation so he could pay his bridge debt. He has a steady job now, making enough for his FP, and is on track to start his Objectives at the Pasadena Org within a month, as he has an ethics handling to get through now.

3. Make up the damage by personal contribution far beyond the ordinary demands of a group member.

I sold my Car to a scientologist who just bought a lot of bridge at the Pasadena Org for himself and his 2D. The reason I sold him my car was because he did not have enough money to get a new one and had to pay for another intensive to get through his Security Check. He also needed a reliable car to get him to and from session and work. I am using his car to get around the moment. Which was bad gas mileage and actually broke down while I was driving it. I was stranded an hour away from me where I live and had to get a ride back and get the car fixed. I will be using this car until he pays me, which he cannot do at the moment.

I drove to three different people’s homes to recover them to the bridge. This has totaled probably around 30 hours of driving. I got the first person I saw fully briefed on The Golden Age of Tech Phase II, since he had not been on lines since 2007. I then helped him secure his Clear package, Training Package, all his materials and full Scientology library.

The second person I saw, I also had to brief on The Golden Age of Tech Phase II. He was doing extension Courses but had not been in session for years. I helped him secure his entire clear package and get back in session.

The third person I saw hadn’t been doing anything on the bridge since the 80’s. I brought her to LA Org and got her briefed on the Golden Age of Tech Phase II. She bought her Survival Rundown and put 5,000 dollars on her account for auditing.

I paid my freeloader debt, which was 3,600 dollars, and bought my training package the same day I was dismissed from staff at the Pasadena Org. The gross income for Pasadena was very low at the time (Wednesday Night) I worked tirelessly to figure out all this money for my services so that it was debited and invoiced by 1:00 the next day (Thursday) If I had not done this, multiple flaps would have occurred for the org and staff.

The next week I also got my Basics at Pasadena, even though I plan on doing my services at the Valley. I wanted it to help Pasadena Org. This resulted in 5,000 dollars GBS for Pasadena Day.

I recently also paid 15,000 dollars to get my Objectives in the HGC. I spent around 40 hours trying to get the money worked out, so I could pay for them.

I set an appointment with my Mom for the HES and Kamrie (Body Reg) to see her. I also went with the HES and Body Reg to her house to see make sure she kept her appointment. We all talked to her for about a half hour about the SRD and Training. They wouldn’t have gotten to see her in person unless I set it up, as terminals from Pasadena have been trying to see her over a year on this subject specifically.

I met with the HES and Kamrie (Body Reg) on two other occasions to specifically give them prospects to reg for Pasadena Org.

I went into Pasadena Org and wrote 40 letters.

That same day I drove to Sunland on my own and paid for my own gas, to get a copy of a public’s driver’s license, Proof of Address, and Social Security Card. This was so that she could get some credit from a bank to buy intensives for assists, as she has a very serious body situation that she wants to be handled.

I spent two hours in the tank organizing PC Folders for the Pasadena Org DTS. As I was leaving she asked me if I could take some PC folders to AO for him. I ended up taking more than 50 PC Folders over to AO for him. This helped a lot, because it freed up space in the tank at Pasadena and got the folders where they were supposed to be.

I spent all day and night of September 2nd and 3rd with the Volunteer Ministers. This was to help firefighters who were fighting the San Fernando Valley Fire. I also helped SMP by going around the San Fernando Valley getting good shots of the Fire for SPM news.

I also went with my Girlfriend and the DFBO from her Org to Costco and got them to donate over $1,500 worth of food and water for us to take to the Fire Fighters.

4. Apply for reentry to the group by asking permission of each member of it to rejoin and rejoining only by majority permission. And if refused, repeating (2) and (3) and (4) until one is allowed to be a group member again.

Sunny, please help us understand what’s going on here.

Sunny: It’s really sad to see how out of proportion liability formulas really are. I’m sure whatever this person did wrong was a minor infraction. Did he leave staff? Was that his sin? It sounds like it. Then he’s paying for his leaving Sec Check, which is supposed to be no cost to him (they don’t even count on freeloader bills). And then having to drag people back on services, clearly driving people into debt. Was his father really stopped on the antagonism? Or did he realize his son was a zealot and it was useless to try to talk sense into him?

The Bunker: And it’s dated 2017. So it shows that Scientology is still today operating the same way it always has. Through fear, intimidation, financial extortion and humiliation.

Sunny: Yes. Scientology has its own form of self-flagellation… it’s called the liability formula.

“Clearing, actually, is not nice. And if you’re looking for some nice, sweet procedure, why, you know, be an art critic and don’t get audited. Spend all your time in the galleries where it’s quiet and serene and nothing ever happens.” — L. Ron Hubbard, November 30, 1961

Overheard in the FreeZone

“The majority of stuff above OT 2 is mostly false and limiting data. AKA: bullshit. It causes psychosis. No exception. I know many people who are psychotic after doing the bridge past OT 2. I was warned 22 yrs ago, not to go past OT 2.”
