Our man in Italy, Richard, forwarded us a new brochure put out by Scientology there which claims that at its UK Headquarters, Saint Hill Manor in East Grinstead, England, the ‘Advanced Org’ created 873 new “OTs” this year.
This planet will be cleared in no time!
Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard relocated from Washington DC to Saint Hill in 1959, and then through the mid-1960s turned it into a roaring success. In fact, so many young people from the US, Europe, and South Africa were coming to England to experience Scientology at Saint Hill, it was debated in Parliament and Scientology was briefly banned. Hubbard then felt so much heat from both the US and UK, he took to sea in 1967 and ran his worldwide organization from a ship for the next eight years, finally and permanently settling back in the US in 1975.
To this day, Saint Hill still represents for Scientologists those roaring days in the first half of the 1960s when Hubbard was at his height and Scientology was attracting so many young members it caused a freakout in Parliament.
Today, not so much. But 873 new “OTs” is nothing to sneeze at, we suppose, particularly under pandemic restrictions. Reaching the expensive “Operating Thetan” or “OT” auditing levels is the highest ambition on the processing side of the “Bridge to Total Freedom,” and it supposedly comes with promised superhuman abilities. There are eight OT levels, and the ultimate level, OT 8, can only be achieved on Scientology’s private cruise ship, the Freewinds, in the Caribbean.
The brochure celebrating Saint Hill’s new OTs came with a couple of testimonials, which Richard translated for us.
Daniela OT 3
And now I have passed through the first Wall of Fire. OT 3 is truly a spiritual level. It’s as if Ron entrusted me with an important assignment, a mission so special that being able to fulfill it makes me honoured. It’s unlike any other level that I have done before and it certainly concerns all the dynamics! At a certain point, during an auditing session, I felt as if a sky full of clouds suddenly cleared up, becoming completely blue with the sun shining. I could see far away. I realized that my space is in reality much larger than I thought! I can’t wait for other people to discover this with their own eyes, it’s beautiful.
Umberto OT 3
I did OT 1 and OT 2 at Saint Hill and now I have finished OT 3. The levels so far have been like an unparalleled brush stroke inspired by Ron, the greatest of artists. The precision, the simplicity and the aesthetics in everything he created is extraordinary! OTIII has been a continual rediscovering of myself. I recovered power and stability that I never before imagined were possible. There is no better gift. Now I have certainty, absolute certainty. Not a certainty coming from someone else, but a self-created certainty. We are the creators of our future and we can create the greatest work of art that has ever been created.
Meanwhile, back in the US, the recent “All-Ideal” Thanksgiving event extracted more big donations from Zooming church members. Isn’t life grand?
Please note: “Humanitarian” = $100,000. And “New Civilization Builder” = $1 million.

Did you know you can get an email every morning when we post our daily Scientology story? We know some of the folks who come to the Underground Bunker aren’t here to talk about the politics of the day, and that’s why we created a daily politics feature over at our other blog, The Lowdown, and we ask readers to take their political discussions over there. And if you drop us a line at tonyo94 AT gmail, we’ll put you on the list so you get a morning reminder that a new Scientology story has been posted — and only for our Scientology stories.

“I have a book which proves absolutely the presence of demons and demon exorcism and proves completely a priori — oh, the most fascinating reasoning is the bulk of this book. You just feel your brains go creak as you read this thing…They go on and prove absolutely that the word of the church is law. And then they prove the fact there was a demon present. Just as I say, you, just, brains go kind of creak. It’s got one of these things in practically every column, two columns to the page, quarto-size volume, for about three or four hundred pages. It’s a very old book and was printed way way back when. Fascinating volume. Well, I want to prove pan-determinism to you on this line now. Now, a thetan can see what he can be; he can be what he can see. Now, have any of you ever seen God? Well, come on, come on, have any of you ever seen God? All right. You’ve never seen God, huh? OK. If you have never seen God, this proves conclusively that God is the Supreme Being at the eighth dynamic. Isn’t that right? Oh, yes it does! Because you’ve never seen God and you’re being self-determined, which is the first dynamic. So this merely demonstrates to you that individuals are not pan-determinism. You follow this?” — L. Ron Hubbard, December 16, 1954

“Lt. Cmmdr. Irene Dunleavy is reprimanded for rudeness and violation of F.O. 38 to a senior officer. The next occurrance will result in something more than a reprimand. She is to re-check out on this F.O. within one week.” — MarySue Hubbard, Captain, December 16, 1968

“There’s an LRH lecture in The Philadelphia Doctorate Course where LRH describes the several races of ETs on Earth. One of those races of ETs is what he calls the ‘Snake Man.’ The first broad public exposure of reptilians was done in the mid 90’s by researcher abductee Karla Turner in her books and lectures. Using hypnotic memory retrieval techniques to peel off layers of false memories, she uncovered that reptilians can disguise as ‘angels’ or ‘ancestors.’ She also discovered that reptilians feed on human bodies.”

1997: Bob Minton has received additional harassment from Scientology and press publicity from his efforts to fund Scientology-reform causes. One piece of harassment arrived at his New Hampshire home. “My wife arrived at our house in NH a few moments ago to find a dead, but otherwise healthy looking, cat on our doorstep. Who do you suppose deposited this cat there?” Bob has agreed to become a memeber of the FACTNet board. “Bob became concerned with the activities of cult groups through the Internet, and has become increasingly active in exposing cults’ tactics. FACTNet hopes to provide Bob ample opportunity to continue these activities by joining efforts with us, and welcomes him as an exceptional addition to the organization!” Scientology served him a subpoena in Grady Ward’s bankruptcy case to produce documents and conversations with a number of Internet critics and lawyers on other cases. None of the requested documents seem to be related to Grady Ward’s bankruptcy.

“If communication is the universal solvent, why is it that in Scientology you can’t communicate with other Scientologists or non-Scientologists about how the tech works and what it’s done for you? Is it because it will make their heads explode like the guy in Scanners? Why are there no theologians in Scientology? Why can’t you ask a course supervisor what they think Hubbard really meant by a certain passage? Why is it that Scientologists are only able to respond to non-Scientolgists with rote responses?”
