This new flier from Scientology was just too good not to share with you all this New Year’s weekend.
Leader David Miscavige clearly wants to get things off on the right foot in 2022, so today every org, according to the flier, will be streaming yet another hype session from the Ideal Org team as it tries to convince already beleaguered Scientologists that this year they’ll be asked to fork over more donations than ever before.
They have a lot of Ideal Orgs to get completed, people! Get those checkbooks out!
Some additional Scientology mail that came in while we were busy with our year-end review.

Did you know you can get an email every morning when we post our daily Scientology story? We know some of the folks who come to the Underground Bunker aren’t here to talk about the politics of the day, and that’s why we created a daily politics feature over at our other blog, The Lowdown, and we ask readers to take their political discussions over there. And if you drop us a line at tonyo94 AT gmail, we’ll put you on the list so you get a morning reminder that a new Scientology story has been posted — and only for our Scientology stories.

“As I used to be president of the American Fiction Guild author’s league up in New York, when I was a kid — that’s right, I was a kid — it was very funny to me, I used to laugh myself silly, all of the confession stories written in America are written by unmarried ladies who have reached 40 or 50. Now, there’s nothing wrong with being an unmarried lady reaching 40 or 50. This is perfectly fine. But how come all these confession stories? Yeah, that’s interesting. Because it was out of the current lifetime’s field of experience. I realize now they were writing about past lives, that they were picking it up Whole Track and just putting it in modern dress. But they didn’t know what they were writing about, basically, in this lifetime.” — L. Ron Hubbard, January 2, 1960

2000: “Anti-Reg” posted a letter he received in response to his request for a refund from Scientology. “I heard from [deleted] that you sent in a letter requesting a return of payments from the Church. Naturally this was a bit of a shock to me and it is a terrible loss. I consider you a friend and I have a lot of ARC for you and it would be quite a loss to have you no longer in the Church and not be able to stay in comm. I could tell from your letter that you have run into some SP’s who have coached you on how to write this letter. I am sure that you are feeling a lot of pressure about this or you would never do it. I also know that you have been PTS before and I want to remind you how overwhelming it felt then. It is my overt of omission that I never insisted that you do the PTS/SP course. All that is happening is that you have gone PTS again. If you have gotten some squirrels or SPs on your lines then there is PTSness there too. This can cause roller coaster — a slump in gains. The door is not shut. And I would still like to help you. You are important to me.”

“Alex Jones and L. Ron both became millionaires by selling people crazy. The $64,000 question is whether it was (A) a cynical scam (B) they’re both insane (C) all of the above.”
