A new group comes forward, saying it’s going to spill secrets of Scientology’s abuses

[The Portland Ideal Org]

Recently, we heard from a former Scientologist who said that they represent a group of former Sea Org and staff who are determined to make public new stories of abuse in the church.

They tell us that they’re going to be creating a website where they will be posting stories of abuse, and sexual abuse of minors in particular.

For now, they gave us an initial account by one of their participants, and we’re going to publish it here for you to see.

“Our time served ranges from the 90’s to 2018 and a couple of us were on staff at different Ideal Orgs and were part of GAT and GAT 2,” says our source.

Their aim, they tell us, is to motivate former Scientologists to come forward in what they hope will become a class action lawsuit against Scientology over sexual abuse claims. And they have identified a law firm that is working with them.

Jeff Anderson & Associates is well known nationally for handling child sexual abuse claims. The group urges former Scientologists with sexual abuse claims to contact the law firm before new laws dropping statutes of limitations change again.

Here’s the account we received from this new group from one of their members.

I recently watched a show on Netflix called “Don’t F**k with cats!” about a very narcissistic man who ended up killing people on YouTube, and some people on the Internet helped find out who he was.

Well, in Portland there was a guy named [redacted].

I don’t recall if he was on staff or we wanted him on staff or if he was helping with the Ideal Org.

He was a hard worker. He was polite. He seemed smart enough. He moved around a lot. He changed jobs often. He went from city to city. He is very narcissistic.

It was about a decade ago that I was looking through his file.

He had written up his O/W’s and admitted to torturing and mutilating small animals. Frogs, mice, birds etc. Interspersed through his file there were different reports from different people who were kind enough to let him live in their house or rent a room and then their family cat or dog went missing when they were away at Flag or wherever. In later O/W write ups he had admitted to nailing a person’s pet cat to a board and keeping it in a closet, cutting and torturing it over a period of days. I’ll save you the rest of the gory details, but it was more than one family’s pet that this was done to.

At that point, I didn’t need to continue reading his file (and did not want to) because he was not qualified for the reason I had the file in the first place.

My mindset at the time was that he had “aberrations” that needed to be handled, that this data was from his own written confession and that he needed auditing.

After more than a decade of “de-programming” after leaving staff, the layers keep peeling off. I didn’t see how brainwashed my views were on this point until I watched that Netflix show and realized that this guy should be in jail.

He was on his way and may have turned into a serial killer by now and none of us did anything about it.

Did you know you can get an email every morning when we post our daily Scientology story? We know some of the folks who come to the Underground Bunker aren’t here to talk about the politics of the day, and that’s why we created a daily politics feature over at our other blog, The Lowdown, and we ask readers to take their political discussions over there. And if you drop us a line at tonyo94 AT gmail, we’ll put you on the list so you get a morning reminder that a new Scientology story has been posted — and only for our Scientology stories.

“We’re not trying to make superman here, because after you’ve done that is when you start to work to really make superman. Now you really have to get clever. Of course, a thetan in real good operating condition can make himself visible. It would be the shock of somebody’s life to suddenly realize that he was visible. And it would ruin this whole society and put us squarely in the hands of Bishop Shenanigan if you were to start doing this. Because you as a MEST body would never be able to explain fast enough to tell him you really weren’t Christ. They’ve been looking for him to come back — with blood in their eyes. You know, they only got a few nails in that guy last time.” — L. Ron Hubbard, November 4, 1953

Overheard in the FreeZone

“Outside of Dianetics and Scientology, there’s no actual tech capable of as-ising mental mass and shedding our own ball-chains and handcuffs. It is just fantastic to me that people on this planet have fallen for the falsehood of material existence, what they call Reality; and any slightest clue that there is anything else triggers a vast field of booby-traps — all of which are self-imposed. Who would believe that?”

Past is Prologue

1997: The New York Times reported that a German Scientologist has been granted asylum in the United States. “A federal immigration court judge has granted asylum to a German member of the Church of Scientology who claimed that she would be subjected to religious persecution had she been required to return to her homeland, the woman’s lawyer and a Scientology official said Friday. While few details of the case were available, it is believed to be the first time the United States has given asylum protection to a Scientologist. The Church of Scientology has been waging a highly public international campaign against what it considers discrimination against its members by the German government. Officials at the German Embassy in Washington said Friday that they had not heard of the asylum decision and would have no reaction until it was confirmed. An immigration court judge decided to approve the woman’s application to remain in this country after a hearing last February. Officials at the State Department and the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Washington said they were unaware of the case.”
