Spend hundreds of thousands on Scientology, and the rain will part for you!

We know you, like us, can’t get enough of Scientology’s “OT Phenomena.” These are the ghost stories that Scientologists submit to Advance! magazine which prove that their promised Scientology super-powers have arrived with the secret upper level “OT” auditing levels.

In this case, our friend Richard in Italy has provided translations for the OT Phenomena that appeared in the latest copy of Italy’s version of Advance!, and they’re every bit as precious as the ones we get in this country.

THE CLOUDS OPEN

I was having a walk in the forest wearing shorts and a T-shirt when I noticed torrential rain in the distance and dark clouds coming towards me. It would take about an hour to walk home and I wanted to stay warm without getting wet, so I postulated a dry path for my return. Then, as if the sky had split in two, through the forest and along the river a gap had formed where not even a drop of rain was falling. As I was walking, I stretched out my arms and my fingers touched the walls of rain on both sides. As soon as I got back home, warm and dry, the instant I closed the door, the passage without rain closed up again, and it started to pour down just where I had been walking. It works! The clouds obey intention! — AF.

MONETARY MAGIC

While I was at the AO, I was having a stroll and as I was walking, I spotted some 5- and some 10-cent coins on the sidewalk. I decided to use this power to find something bigger, like a 20- or 100-dollar banknote. When the time came to go home, while I was at the airport waiting for my flight, I opened a book I had purchased at the library. That day, I had consulted many books and had chosen one from a huge room full of books that had been donated. Reading it as I was waiting, I turned a page and right there, hidden between the two pages, was a lovely 50-dollar bill … that I can only describe as “Exactly between the 20 and the 100 dollar banknotes.” — J.C.

SPEAKING TO THE BOSS

Recently, after finishing New OT IV, I was in the kitchen one day and I noticed a line of ants crossing the kitchen worktop. It annoyed me, so I used some insecticide which however did not stop them. Then I remembered what Ron said in the Philadelphia Doctorate Course regarding a group of ants controlled by one central “mind” directed by a single thetan. I searched for this being and even though it was very faint and barely visible, I managed to perceive it. Using Tone 40, I told it to take the ants and leave my home. I left the kitchen to do something else and five minutes later, I returned. There was not one ant in sight. — A.P.

OK, so now you tell us. After you’ve spent hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars to reach the OT levels, what super powers would you be hoping Scientology could deliver?

HowdyCon 2019 in Los Angeles

THURSDAY NIGHT OPPORTUNITY: This year’s HowdyCon is in Los Angeles. People tend to come in starting on Thursday, and that evening we will have a casual get-together at a watering hole. But we also want to point out that Cathy Schenkelberg’s “Squeeze My Cans” will be running at the Hollywood Fringe, and we encourage HowdyCon attendees to see her show on Thursday night, June 20. Tickets and more dates available here.

Friday night June 21 we will be having an event in a theater (like we did on Saturday night last year in Chicago). There will not be a charge to attend this event, but if you want to attend, you need to RSVP with your proprietor at tonyo94 AT gmail.

On Saturday, we are joining forces with Janis Gillham Grady, who is having a reunion in honor of the late Bill Franks. Originally, we thought this event might take place in Riverside, but instead it’s in the Los Angeles area. If you wish to attend the reunion, you will need to RSVP with Janis (janisgrady AT gmail), and there will be a small contribution she’s asking for in order to help cover her costs.

HOTEL: Janis tells us she’s worked out a deal with Hampton Inn and Suites, at 7501 North Glenoaks Blvd, Burbank, (818) 768-1106. We have a $159 nightly rate for June 19 to 22. Note: You need to ask for the “family reunion” special rate.
