‘PROTECT THE ORG’ is Scientology’s highest purpose says new edict

Here’s the latest word from Los Angeles, where Scientologists are told that although “public” (meaning non-staff Scientologists) are encouraged to do extension courses while they are isolating in their homes, Scientology’s facilities are still open and operating, and that members on site for advanced courses continue their cases rather than go home.

The result is this totally unclear message from Valley “OT Ambassador” Kathy Welch that suggests staffs are still working, and “OT” Scientologists are still on hand for upper-level auditing at Los Angeles facilities.

And the number one priority for all Scientologists, she says, is “PROTECT THE ORG.” Wow. What will Governor Gavin Newsom think?

Dear all,

LRH said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure….”

And in the Inspector General Network Bulletin, it says: “Well, how about a ton of prevention so as not to require an ounce of cure?”

THAT is our senior policy at this time.

Or to restate it, the senior policies at this time are:

1. PROTECT THE ORG

2. PROTECT THE STAFF

3. PROTECT THE PUBLIC AND SERVICE THEM AS WELL AS WE CAN AND AS MUCH AS ALLOWED.

With the current “Safer at Home” order for all of California, we are bound by the laws of the land and must take every precaution we can to ensure the safety of our public and our staff.

At this time, we can service public on Extension Courses to keep them progressing on their Routes to Knowledge.

NOTE: The Orgs are not at this time able to accommodate public coming and going out of the buildings and thus exposing the Church staff or parishioners to risk of infection. Therefore, any public NOT on the Base or staying in our hotels are continuing services on an Extension basis.

Public on Advanced Courses at AOLA have specific instructions and technical handlings for each case. The AO is taking care of each public individually so they can standardly move on their Advanced levels.

You should know that the org is not closed and will remain manned in case you:

-Need assistance of any kind

-Need questions answered

-Want to run a process at home to help with the current circumstances and wish to receive guidance on such

-Have need of sanitation supplies as provided by the Church (e.g. gloves, masks, etc.).

I advise you all to please get very familiar with these materials and use them to help others and give them correct, stable data. The website even directs people to our free Solutions for A Dangerous Environment online course!

Forward this information to everyone on your comm lines and like our website says: “even though we are all keeping our distance, we are all in this together!”

And remember: this situation will pass and we will emerge even stronger and greater than ever!

Meanwhile, Scientology’s “Volunteer Ministers” continue to claim that they are going into neighborhoods to “disinfect” locations, and have even put together this rather astounding video about their efforts in South Africa…

 
The “Decon Seven Sanitation Team” in Johannesburg has been unleashed on the public there, spraying places with disinfectant that of course won’t do a thing about keeping someone infected with coronavirus from coughing on you.

In Johannesburg, our teams sanitized all our facilities within 48 hours. From there, using Decon 7, we sanitized the Midrand Police Station itself as well as old age homes, orphanages, township areas, and even private homes and guest lodges in our neighborhood. It is our guiding principle that there is nothing too big or too small for us to take on. It’s what we believe and it’s what we live. The Volunteer Minister Corps is now working with the Department of Social Services Gauteng to reach further into the Gauteng Province, also considering Gauteng is the hardest hit with the spread of the virus. Next, they will be implementing training on sanitation and decontamination and are in the process of bringing in more equipment and Decon 7 liquid to expand the decontamination drive.

At least one local, however, tweeted that he doesn’t understand how these heroes can sanitize places without spreading the virus themselves, if they’re infected. Yes, exactly. Scientology only cares about projecting an image that it’s helping, and doesn’t really care that these members might actually be making the situation worse. Because what’s most important is that the church gets these photos for use as propaganda…

Ask a Scientologist!
Here’s a question that came in to askascientologist@tonyortega.org, and we thought Bruce Hines might be the best person to answer it. If you have a question for one of our many experts, please send it in!

When a Scientologist sheds themselves of Body Thetans, where do they go?

In the OT 3 materials, if I recall correctly, Hubbard said that a freed body thetan goes and picks up a body or goes to ‘admire daisies.’ Hubbard also said that when a body thetan gets audited during the OT 3 procedure, they might become Clear. This occurs, as covered in other writings, when the being realizes that he or she or it is creating their own reactive mind. The OT 3 writings were mainly from the late 60s. Later, when the NOTs material came out, more was said about body thetans going Clear. This was mostly in the late 70s and early 80s. There was a particular paragraph in one of those technical bulletins that talked about the sociological impact from releasing a torrent of cleared beings into the world. This meant that these freed BTs would go and get bodies, and then grow up in society as Clears, which means that they would be sane and healthy and better and all that. On OT 3, according to Hubbard, one should find hundreds of BTs. But on NOTs that number is way bigger, though I don’t remember a specific number being given. Certainly in the tens of thousands in most cases. And that estimate is on the low end, because often BTs are grouped together into “clusters,” which can blow all at once freeing some unknown number of individual BTs. Plus, one can encounter a large, but indeterminate, number of BTs and clusters blowing in one session in a kind of chain reaction. For many years, there has been a campaign within the Scientology organization to get 10,000 people onto and through Solo NOTs (New OT 7). That goal still has not been achieved, even though Solo NOTs first came out almost 40 years ago. The idea is that this would create enough freed beings who would then permeate society in their new bodies to make a significant impact on the world. I don’t know how that number was calculated or who (Hubbard or Miscavige or someone else) came up with it. It would mean, though, that we would then have enough free theta in the world to unenturbulate all the entheta. And we would have a cleared planet, or at least one that would be much easier to clear. I knew a woman who believed that she had been a body thetan on Hubbard before she took on her current body in this lifetime. (To think that I once bought into all that…)

Several readers have asked us how we’re coping during the pandemic, and they were especially concerned that we’re in New York, the epicenter of the disease.

Like the rest of you we are isolated in our home, hanging with the cats, and we only leave the property for a morning bike ride, being careful not to come near other people.

The strange thing about this experience is that while the streets are very quiet, life is pretty unremarkable except that you are well aware that a mile down the road at the nearest hospital, a total nightmare is going on.

So, while health care workers are fighting in a desperate war, and grocery employees and letter carriers and other workers continue to risk their health for our benefit, there’s not much more that we can do here at home except do our work and try to keep up our spirits.

We hope you are managing all right at home. Please keep away from other human beings until we can flatten this curve.

“In retrospect the one thing I’m most grateful for was my tenacity to not stop with my studying of the R6 materials until I see its practicality. It took quite some work but eventually I began to see what LRH discovered and was dealing with. I still marvel at the diabolical accuracy by which the bank itself operates, yet creates such incredible confusion. It’s quite something to see the myriad of complexities people squabble over and then do the darnedest of things calling it a solution. Man operating as a meat body and doing the things he does is a ‘result of pattern’ not of evolution or any other fancy terms of pseudo sciences. I certainly don’t profess to be greater, bigger or better compared to another at anything, I left that cyclic & competitive game sometime back. My body is old and is doing its thing and we get on more or less pretty well. We don’t play the dynamic game actively anymore but I see the demise of Church of Scientology as resulting from infiltration and then destroyed from within as the greatest crime ever to be committed in the sphere of suppression inflicted upon our species.”
