Short post today.
1. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise announced they were dating in April 2005.
2. Suri Cruise was born TWELVE MONTHS later, in April 2006.
3. Anyone who suggests that somehow the man Katie was dating before Tom, Chris Klein, fathered Suri either has a very poor understanding of the human gestation period, or is merely trolling for attention.
We’re told that the best way to deal with a troll is to ignore them. We plan to.

Leah Remini podcast: Nicole Norton & Becky Lovell Inside RA MA and Guru Jagat
Says Mike: “Nicole Norton and Becky Lovell are whistleblowers, exposing the abuses of the RA MA Institute for Applied Yogic Science and Technology and its leader Guru Jagat (Katie Griggs). The stories of abuse, money motivation and a culture of worship of the guru are reminiscent of Scientology and so many other high-control organizations. Becky and Nicole reached out to us to tell their stories after watching The Aftermath. We had planned to do this show for some time, but scheduling issues delayed it. In the meantime, Katie Griggs died of a pulmonary embolism following surgery on her ankle. It doesn’t change the facts or the real abuses that have occurred any more than the death of L. Ron Hubbard ended the abuses of Scientology.” Listen to the episode right here!

Sign up for a daily email when we post a new story on Scientology.
Did you know you can get an email every morning when we post our daily Scientology story? We know some of the folks who come to the Underground Bunker aren’t here to talk about the politics of the day, and that’s why we created a daily politics feature over at our other blog, The Lowdown, and we ask readers to take their political discussions over there. And if you drop us a line at tonyo94 AT gmail, we’ll put you on the list so you get a morning reminder that a new Scientology story has been posted — and only for our Scientology stories.

“Today we’re processing the present. We’re processing energy flow — live energy flow — in present time. We’re processing ‘right now.’ And ‘right now’ gets affected by ‘then,’ just as you learned in the first book and just as you learned in subsequent publications, and all you’ve been practicing to date. ‘Then’ affects ‘now.’ But all you will have to process, really, to get rid of ‘then,’ is ‘now.’ So you can process ‘now.’” — L. Ron Hubbard, September 21, 1952

“The WHY we face now is absence of recruiting, lack of full hats with checksheets and packs. The why of that was failure to make the materials filed accessibly and collateable. So it’s a snake eats its tail. No hats then brought a condition of no data available in files. A true dwindling spiral. And no hats traces to the introduction of Ethics into HCOs and that it is easier to assign a condition than to compile or checkout a hat. Hats went out when Ethics came strongly in. Without Ethics in HCO, HCO can only make stats recover by org form and hats. Ethics has a role — after all else fails. But hats and Ethics can’t belong in the same Division.” — The Commodore, September 21, 1970

1995: Alison Braund, the investigator who infiltrated Scientology as part of The Big Story broadcast in the U.K. was cleared of charges brought against her by the church. The Australian AAP reports: “An Adelaide journalist was cleared today of charges of theft brought against her by the Church of Scientology following an investigative report into the church. Chairman of the bench, Hinda Style, said there had been an abuse of process and awarded Stg15,400 ($A31,448) costs against the prosecution. ‘It’s a great decision,’ Ms Braund said outside the court. ‘It’s a real victory for journalists doing their job in the interest of the public and a victory against pressure groups like the Church of Scientology who harass people through the courts. I shall carry on investigating.”

“I wish that the OSA or their private dickheads would show up were I live because I live in the toughest building on the toughest street in my city. The cops are afraid to come in here. Also, I am much beloved by the denizens.”
