More social media gold: Post-riot, it’s clear that Scientology is the planet’s only hope!

Scientologists, like the rest of us, couldn’t help noticing that things got a little dicey at the US Capitol last week. But Hubbardites are also very skilled at shielding themselves from the non-Scientology world, and they tend to encourage each other just to press on with the tasks L. Ron Hubbard left behind for them to do.

Once again we’re dipping into their social media streams thanks to our generous source, who marveled at how well Scientologists maintained the status quo at their online gathering places.

Let’s dive in to this week’s selections.

Trust Ron’s plan!

Ignore the news and fall back on the tech…

Meanwhile, the mini-exodus of Scientologists out of Los Angeles continues, in this case with actress Jennifer Aspen, who has decided to ditch Hollywood for going full OT!

…and who is apparently enjoying the move.

Guys, Marsha is on the lookout for a 2D.

Now, let’s get some success stories!

Going Clear after 29 years!

And finally, just in case you were in any doubt that Scientology is still all about the nutty space opera L. Ron Hubbard came up with in Role of Earth and Mission Into Time…

“Orgs are in the very new, for this universe, business of setting people free. SPs will find all manner of reasons not to, for this is what they, with their own crimes, fear. Thus it follows that they cut dissem lines, corrupt tech, suppress and confuse orgs, persuade people to be inactive and resort to other shifts, all quite ‘reasonable’ and ‘logical’ as to why this must be the way it is; so be alert to this and go ahead and set people free. It’s done with org services well delivered, on-policy, with standard tech. So just do it, man, do it!” — L. Ron Hubbard, January 13, 1983

Avast, Ye Mateys

“Starboard Watch is assigned Non-Existence for slowness in coming to Fire Drill on 9 Jan 69 and treating it as a joke. The F/MAA is to discover who in Starboard considers drills a joke and throw the joker or jokers overboard, which is a very big joke in this cool weather and cold water.” — The Commodore, January 13, 1969

Overheard in the FreeZone

“Money is what guarantees your survival. With money you can buy a congressman, bribe judges, hire a hitman. Just because a government is run by criminals is no reason to walk away. Ethics needs to be put in. A government that was in ethics and did what was optimum across 8 dynamics would benefit everyone.”

Past is Prologue

1997: The Associated Press reported that an Athens court has ordered Scientology to close its doors in Greece. “A copy of the ruling obtained by The Associated Press on Friday accused the church of operating under the cloak of a philosophic society to try to lure, brainwash and exploit members. ‘It is an organization with medical, social and ethical practices that are dangerous and harmful,’ Judge Constandia Angelaki wrote in her ruling. ‘It claims to act freely so as to draw members who subsequently undergo … brainwashing by dictated ways of thinking that limit reaction capabilities.’ Angelaki ruled on the case on Dec. 20 but the verdict was officially issued Thursday. The move followed numerous complaints from relatives of members of the church, which operated here as the Center of Applied Philosophy in Greece. They claimed the center transformed their kin into moody or suicidal automatons. ‘The case is a sham,’ Heber Jentzsch wrote. ‘It is unfortunately reminiscent of the former junta that ruled Greece as a totalitarian state and the assault today is simply because the mission is not ‘orthodox’ according to the prevailing vested interests in Greece.'”

“I’m still waiting for someone to do the obvious KFC shoop with the KSW and L Ron as the Colonel. Preferably on a bucket.”

After the success of their double-Emmy-winning, three-season A&E series ‘Scientology and the Aftermath,’ Leah Remini and Mike Rinder continue the conversation on their podcast, ‘Scientology: Fair Game.’ We’ve created a landing page where you can hear all of the episodes so far.
