Nancy Cartwright has topped herself again, moving up to “Diamond Laureate with Honors,” which means she’s given about $17.5 million in cumulative donations to Scientology’s membership organization. That ‘Simpsons’ money is so spendy!
“I felt the pride of being part of everything, of every area. We cannot underestimate the power of our reach,” the voice actress told Scientology’s ‘Impact’ magazine.
For the third time this year Scientology has published a celebration of its wealthiest donors, and the latest comes out just days before the year’s biggest party for Scientology richies is scheduled to happen this weekend in England.
Earlier this year, donors to the International Association of Scientologists (IAS) were celebrated in Beverly Hills and Clearwater, Florida, and we showed you those images and donation totals in a couple of posts with up-and-coming donors like Aaron Kyro, and the really big whales like Trish Duggan.
Now, we have the church’s report from its June celebration in the Caribbean, the “Maiden Voyage” event that’s held on the cruise ship ‘Freewinds.’
Scientology makes a game out of giving the church huge sums, begging big donors to turn over more and more in the hopes of reaching a new status level, a bigger trophy, and the prospect of being included in Impact magazine
But it’s really important to keep in mind that these are cumulative amounts. Someone credited for giving $500,000, for example, may have given only a few thousand in recent months that enabled them to get past that plateau.
