Hey, moneybags, Scientology has a bridge to sell you. Here’s the new price list!

One of our readers was in a local org recently, and happily for us she was handed a pamphlet that included a price list. Thinking quickly, when the staff wasn’t looking she snapped a couple of photos of it and then sent them to us.

Thank you, tipster! Now, it’s always good to get an updated Scientology price list to see what folks are paying to move up the Bridge to Total Freedom. But we want you to keep something very much in mind. This pamphlet shows prices specific to what’s called a “Class V” org, the kind of thing you’ll find in your garden-variety large American city. So the prices are lower than the ones we’ve seen for courses and auditing levels at Scientology’s “spiritual mecca,” the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida where all Scientologists have to go for the really high-end stuff.

Auditing, for example, is sold in 12.5-hour blocks called “intensives,” and the auditing intensives at this local org are priced at $2,500. Auditing at Flag can run between $6,800 and $12,000 per intensive, depending on the auditing level you’re doing.

But let’s take a look at what is being offered to your local Scientologist as they begin to get serious about things and after they have moved past the most introductory courses. Here’s the first half of the menu, the “processing” side…

PROCESSING BRIDGE

Intensive Auditing = Increased Speed Up The Bridge

Auditing is most effective when done intensively. An intensive is a block of 12 1/2 hours of auditing. It is best done at 2 1/2 to 5 hours a day, but can also be done over the course of a weekend. The more intensives per week, the better the results. The Director of Processing will provide a Tech Estimate for each preclear’s case.

HGC AUDITING — 12 1/2 hour intensive $2,500 ($200/hour)

A sliding scale of requested donations for auditing intensives is available to Annual and Lifetime Members of the IAS (International Association of Scientologists). To qualify for a sliding scale, the donation must be made all at one time. The sliding scale applies to every intensive donated for at the same time.

Training Puts a Person in Command of Life

50 percent of the gains on the Bridge come from training alone. Each training level on the Grade Chart provides the student with increased knowledge and skill. A person who trains can also co-audit up the Bridge. It’s double the gains — both as an auditor and a preclear.

Auditors are the most valuable beings on the planet. When a Scientologist trains in the Academy, he becomes a Classed auditor and joins the elite of the planet Earth.

Scientology actor Danny Masterson isn’t going to let a little thing like being under investigation by the LAPD for rape allegations by three women to keep him and his buddies Michael Peña and Jason Dohring from hosting a golf tournament for CCHR! (The Citizens Commission on Human Rights is Scientology’s most unhinged front group, the one that quite openly seeks to annihilate the mental health profession and replace it with Scientology.) And it’s under the new banner that Rod Keller told us about recently, “Fight for Kids.”

 
Also, as curtain-raisers for Leah Remini’s second season, which premieres Tuesday night, the Hollywood Reporter has two really good pieces out today.

Seth Abramovitch has a profile of Leah that reveals she’ll be moving over here to the east coast to film episodes of Kevin Can Wait. The piece repeats what Leah has said previously, that she’s hoping her series produces some action from the federal government about Scientology.

Gary Baum has a fun piece about how, mysteriously, someone has been uploading bogus court documents that demand takedowns of online criticism of Per Wickstrom’s unbranded Narconon outlets in Michigan.
