Thanks to a tipster we have another interesting look inside Scientology’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
And again, it’s the Dublin org that is giving us that glimpse into what it’s like for a totalitarian organization to frantically try to keep its locked down members busy.
Scientology leader David Miscavige has thrown huge amounts of money at Ireland, trying to make Scientology happen in a place where it has hardly a pulse at all. At the last census, only 87 people in Ireland identified as Scientologists, and as Rod Keller pointed out on Sunday, despite years of effort and huge expense, only some 76 members appear to have signed up for online classes.
But here’s the org’s latest attempt to keep those people with their eyes on L. Ron Hubbard’s prize!
ACTION!
Hi everyone!
This newsletter will reach you possibly just having seen the news that current restrictions in Ireland have been extended until the 18th of May…
This is the news, and how we take it is down to what tone level we decide to operate at. It’s as pure and simple as that!
A tone level I personally favour is: Action!
And the things we can continue to be in motion and ACTION on is studying the Basics Books & Lectures line-up.
We can say with certainty that staff and public have never had as much time as they do now to study LRH – in fact we have received reports of people studying up to 8 or 10 hours per day!
And here’s some food for thought…. the total checksheet time from beginning to end of the Books & Lecture Line-up is 684 hours of study.
I would be very interested in what courses you all can finish by the 18th of May and who can complete the full Basics Books & Lectures Line-up!
Meanwhile, for this week, here’s what happened:
Routes to Knowledge
“A philosophy can only be a route to knowledge. It cannot be knowledge crammed down one’s throat. If one has a route, he can then find what is true for him. And that is Scientology. Know thyself – and the truth shall set you free.” – L. Ron Hubbard
On that note, if you don’t have your own copy at home of the “Routes to Knowledge” chart please let us know and we will send it out to you immediately! If you do have one at home, take the time to look at it and mark off what you have done!
We saw yet another EPIC week of progress on home study of the foundation of the Bridge – the Golden Age of Knowledge extension courses.

This week we had a total of 160 people active on studying their Routes to Knowledge and sending in a total of over 600 lessons !
We had 33 Extension Course completions in just a week!

Summary
AdvertisementWe are all staying at home and studying LRH… I would say across the planet there has never been such a movement of intense study of Source.
LRH says:
“By the mere fact of people looking at this truth, finding these things were true, applying these things and achieving a higher state of existence, you would inevitably get – whether anybody said you would or not – a calmer life, a calmer environment, a calmer civilization.”- LRH, from Scientology Zero 10 Dec 1963

Another court delay forced by the lockdown
Valerie Haney’s motion for reconsideration has been moved back from June 17 to August 11 for reasons of the coronavirus pandemic.
She’s asking Judge Richard Burdge Jr of the Los Angeles Superior Court to reconsider his decision to stop her lawsuit in its tracks and grant Scientology’s motion to force her to take her grievance to “religious arbitration.”
As we said in March, the motion she submitted makes some excellent arguments. Specifically, that she was fired before, Scientology claims, she had signed the agreement binding her to arbitration.
But even with new evidence, motions of reconsideration tend to be legal long shots. And now we’ll have to wait even more to find out whether or not her attempt succeeds or fails.

“In order to understand the third dynamic completely, you would have to understand that a thetan is confused about who is who. His basic confusion, who is who, is manifest under this: He can duplicate himself. He can put himself out there in space and be as alive out there and where he is too, at the same time, as where he is. He can duplicate himself; in other words. One thetan that can be, then, two thetans. And each one of these thetans have all the characteristics of the original thetan. And then these two thetans can duplicate themselves and have all the original characteristics of themselves but be somebody else too. So we get into valence trouble. This is one of the basic capabilities. The second we introduce duplication, however, we introduce space. So the second a thetan began to be somebody else and himself; too, there was space in the matter.” — L. Ron Hubbard, May 6, 1954

“I want to talk about Mars and the implant operation going on there. I’ve audited this implant so it no longer affects me personally, but this to me seems to be of great importance in addressing (i.e. neutralizing) for others, especially in helping those beings newly arriving from elsewhere in the galaxy who get ensnared in that theta trap. Once a being has reached this solar system, it’s common to use other planets as navigation points and anchor points on the way to Earth.”
