We have your invitation to Scientology’s holiest celebration of the year!

Bunker readers! If you were never a member of Scientology but always wondered what it was like to get tracked down and sent invites to the next big church event, we have you covered!

Former church member Ronn Stacy says it’s been five years since he was declared a “suppressive person” by Scientology, but he found that he’s back on the church’s call list.

“Desperate times? I haven’t been on Scientology services since 2009, and I was declared SP in 2012. But I’m back on the invite list apparently,” Ronn tell us.

He shared with us a voice mail he got yesterday, inviting him to one of Scientology’s biggest annual events — L. Ron Hubbard’s birthday, which falls on March 13 but will be celebrated at Clearwater, Florida’s Ruth Eckerd Hall on Saturday, March 11.

“It sounds like she was reading from a script, and probably with a Product Officer standing over her.”

We think it’s a hoot. We put some images from past birthday events to liven it up even further…

Chris Shelton finishes his deep dive into ‘Scientology’!

Says Chris: “This is the final video in the Deconstructing Scientology series. This has been quite a task covering all the academic apologetics and nonsense these guys have spewed, but I think we’ve learned some pretty interesting things along the way. In this last episode, we examine the opportunism and deceptions the Church of Scientology engaged in so they could appear to be the heroes of 9/11 when in fact they contributed almost nothing to the overall effort. Now that this is done, you’ll be seeing more interviews and what I hope will be a pretty interesting analysis of some GO/OSA policies and then I’ll be starting a new series to take on the core bits of Scientology technology (including that E-meter video I’ve been promising for so long). It’s time that the subject of Scientology itself get the same analysis we just gave to these apologetics. Enjoy!”

Aaron Smith-Levin goes in depth

Aaron Smith-Levin sent us a link to a podcast he took part in this week. From its description…

“Ex-Scientologist Aaron Smith Levin joins us once again to discuss the latest news regarding Scientology. Aaron begins by discussing his experiences on Leah Remini’s groundbreaking television series Scientology: The Aftermath. Aaron explains what it was like being interviewed and opening up about a dark chapter in his life and the trauma that Scientology brought down on him. Aaron also talks about the response from Scientology against Aaron, which has been in the form of his very own Scientology hate site.”

Alan Dershowitz is saying on CNN that ultimately this Executive Order may be upheld. What really is at stake, IMO, Drumpf won’t do anything to rewrite the executive order.

It is bad lawyering on the part of the White House.

    • For the first couple of weeks I was trying to decide if they were malicious or just inept, and now I’m convinced that they’re both. I suppose that’s good in the long run. If they were evil and competent it could be a whole lot worse.

      • Missionary Kid

If you intentionally get run over by a truck, you’re just as dead as if it’s an accident. Any combination of evil and competent or evil and incompetent can be disastrous.

Steve Bannon is a bomb thrower. He wants to destroy the present institutions, just as the Bolsheviks did.

        • I get that they’re still very dangerous. Especially Bannon. Turns out my cousin is friends with Bannon’s ex wife and the woman is in virtual hiding trying to figure out what, if anything, she can do to stop him. Imagine being on Miscavige’s shit list if he had the government’s resources and you can see the situation she’s in.
I’m just not buying the scenario that everything is going exactly according to their plan. Yet.
Trump may be a less useful idiot than originally conceived.
          Let’s hope so.

          • Missionary Kid

Apparently (and this may just be fantasy) Trump is frustrated with being President, and he’s surprised he can’t run the government like he ran his businesses autocratically. He obviously didn’t know how big government is, nor what it is like to have people who oppose him, and he has a bunch of people around him who are jockeying for power.

            http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/donald-trump-challenges-governing-presidency-234879

            • Interesting.

              A great time to be . . .
              A: a comedian
              B: a journalist
              C: prepper supply company
              D: manufacturer of poster board

I think the new administration’s clusterfuckyness is obvious to all but the deepest drinkers of the Kool-Aid.

            • Missionary Kid

Just as they were before the election, Trump supporters are willing to accept unfavorable reports about Trump, minimizing them. He will deny all such reports, of course.

Like $cientology, Trump is more interested in keeping good PR than practically everything else, and his supporters lap up his statements that he’s winning.

He told us all how smart he is. He believes it himself, and doesn’t like any contradictions or bad news. Sound familiar?

  • Rasha

Do they ever call people they KNOW to be declared SPs, and try to get them back? Or do they expect SPs to come crawling back? Do these calling cycles simply rotate through names on PC folders without checking to see if they are bitter defrocked apostates or not?

    • iampissed

I suspect it’s just a list that they can’t keep straight. But hey ya want to come in and do your
A through E and all will be forgiven……..NOT. By the way what is your credit card number.

  • beauty for ashes

Went to see my shrink, a lovely sensitive and very strong woman. If I have what I call Floridian existential depression, she certainly has Trumpian existential depression. We were chatting after the session was over and I had made my next appointment, and well you know me, I like to ask questions. Her whole demeanor changed when I jokingly asked if she had been avoiding looking at media. (Which is how I discussed dealing with what’s happening) I think she would prefer to choose to do what I do, but feels too much responsibility to be politically active, and aware. Interesting to think when our mental health professionals are being affected by our present president. Trickle down crazy?

    • iampissed

      Trickle down Crazy…..love it.

      • beauty for ashes

        **curtsies**

        • iampissed

          Bravo lady.

    • Marshall

Were you watching my last visit to my therapist? Because it seems like the exact same situation. Although I have been a bit better since I went to the Women’s March in DC. It did help to restore my faith in my world but I would need a march everyday to combat trump crazy!

      • beauty for ashes

See ~my therapist didn’t get to go to any of the woman’s marches, so she’s even more depressed. She probably would have been a whole lot better.

        • Marshall

Seriously, my therapist told me the week after the election they were so inundated with calls for appointments that the whole group was putting in extra hours just to try and keep up. Imagine trying to make people feel better over this horrible situation – over and over again!

          • beauty for ashes

            Wow, just wow.

          • My PCP at Kaiser listened as I talked about my post election anxiety and he said his practice had blown up with appointment requests and therapy referrals. It’s everywhere.

          • madame duran

That phenomenon is happening in Canada too.

          • Juicer77

I totally believe this. I have restricted myself to reading the headlines and doing some fact-checking to keep up with what’s going on. Absolutely a nightmare for anyone with anxiety or depression tendencies. Hugs to you.

        • Rasha

There are times to listen, and there are times for constructive conversation.

    • MadMaxi

My therapist is the same way, we touched on the subject in session which lead to a mutual “wtf-fest”. He did like my calling uncontrollable, spontaneous cussing fits when listening to the news as Trump tourettes syndrome. Although he did suggest I should not listen to the news before going into public places since I have an issue with keeping my mouth shut when spouting ranting soliloquies to the frozen foods and vegetables.

      • beauty for ashes

πŸ™‚ I quite understand Maxi. I have an overload of RL stress already, so I probably would have trump tourettes as well. Also I sometimes vocalize when I’m having frustrating thought without realizing it!

  • A True Prince

While gathering information, I went a website called www,the memoryhole2.org . On the main page there is a piece written in 1976 in which the CO$ asked the CIA director about what to do about a radio disc jokey who made comments about the CO$, who would do such a thing? No response from the CIA but it’s great piece of,”Mom he’s making fun of me, make it stop”. Enjoy.

    • Missionary Kid

      AMEN!

    • downtherabbithole

It is all too exhausting with too much worry.

      • Imagine this guy wakes up one day, and says – i don’t want this job anyway, i’ll quit… lol

        • iampissed

Could happen….I was wondering the same thing before the election.

        • Frodis73

I wouldn’t be surprised at all. I don’t think he wanted the job in the first place.

          • no :_) We are all Idiots and don’t deserve him..

          • Sine qua non

Agree. I also think he was shocked he won, did not expect to win, and now he and his minions are scrambling to create the details for policies any normal presidential candidate would have had developed long before Election Day. From my standpoint, it’s a organizational train wreck.

        • Missionary Kid

Just like Alaska’s half governor and Vice Presidential candidate.

          • The guy who snorted coke and lied about it?

            • Missionary Kid

Dunno about that, but she quit after she saw how much she could make in the “private sector”.

            • Frodis73

MK is referring to Sarah Palin…you are thinking of a man, but I am blanking on his name.

            • Missionary Kid

I used the term “half governor” for Palin because she quit her term half way through the term.

    • Observer

Because the 241 years of insecure immigration of millions of people before Trump took office completely destroyed America.

      • Yes! He want to give it all back to the natives… umm Canada!

        • iampissed

Mexico also had a bit of the property. Just saying.

      • Missionary Kid

If Mexico would have had a more strict immigration policy, Texas and California would be in Mexico.

        • iampissed

And right at this moment…I’d be OK with that.

    • madame duran

Wait…is Trump sending Bannon to fist fight with the Supreme Court judges?

Last night I was with a Scientologist and he wanted to show me he had Super Powers. So he jumped off a 100 foot cliff and landed perfectly on his two feet at the bottom. He then looked up at me mockingly as if to say “You see where Scientology can get you by persevering, idiot.” I felt really annoyed…………..and then I woke up.

    • Douglas D. Douglas

Were you inexplicably downstairs when you awoke?

      • Richard

No, but I’m wondering which numbers I should play on the lottery this morning.

Last night I was having horrendous trouble trying to find a channel on TV that wasn’t showing SMP programs about Scientology. So I thought I’d surf the ‘net but every single google search resulted in something from SMP about Scientology. In despair I turned on the radio but every channel was wall-to-wall SMP. After nine months of inactivity it seemed like SMP had finally got their act together……. and then I woke up.

I took my neighbor to the vet today to have her kitty put to sleep. He had very bad kidney failure and it was so sad. But he decided to take a bath in the vet’s sink which got us all laughing. It took me a couple of mins. to get out my phone but you can see him setting off the automatic faucet. Thanks to the vets for being so nice to us. They allowed her to bring her other kitty along to say good-bye, too.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx9rUv77qGE

    • Juicer77

Hugs to your neighbor, Todd. You are a good friend for going along. I lost one kitteh to kidney failure and have been thru the sub-Q fluids, etc. etc. etc. that goes along with it. When it’s time they tell you it’s time. Lovely kitteh and I hope the other kitteh doesn’t miss his/her companion too much. Amazingly they seem to know when the other is failing health-wise and take it in stride.

      • Todd Tomorrow

I was dubious when she asked me if she should bring her other cat. But his sister (litter mates from the SPCA) put her head on top of his head. It was so cute as she knew her brother wasn’t well. Sadly, my neighbor just lost her last relative, her father, to old age two months ago.
My neighbor looks like Ms. Hathaway from The Beverly Hill Billies. The SPCA offers a support group with a psychologist for free on Tues, and I think it’ll be good for her to go for a couple weeks. She fostered both of them since they were babies and gave him a much loved 16 years. Still it is so tough and I’m glad she asked me to take her. I’ve had to do it several times and it never gets any easier.

        • Juicer77

She’s known them all their lives and obviously knows best. <3 Therapy is a great idea, especially since she's dealing with multiple losses. I'll keep her in prayer.

O/T this male pheasant has been hanging around our garden for two weeks now, mouthing off. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/eccee20ce12240b1da8ee3e9e47522e7b1d2747de6e203de246a6a63ae981158.jpg . Yesterday, I spotted why… Mrs. Pheasant made her appearance by the hedges and today she visited the feeder. I suspect we will have a phalanx of little pheasants running about in a few weeks. Also, Mr. Pheasant likes to stare at me thru the windows in various rooms. It’s a little unnerving. He better not be planning to add me to his harem!! LOL Now I have to stealthily put up a barricade to keep the dog away from the nest.

    • mmm… food!

    • Ann B Watson

I never had a pheasant couple appear around Valentines, but a big old Canadian Goose ended up in the barn one Dec. & I named him Christmas Dinner when I was 10. Of course he was never going to be consumed and he had gotten really cold. So we fixed up,a goose bed for him and he stayed for a month. Followed me all around. Then the call of the other goosies got him back on track & one warmer day he flew off with his friends. A pheasant stare thru the windows… he is checking out which room is most comfortable. He is a handsome fellow. ❀️

Arron forgets about the horrid day care in LA where toddlers were molested and only one parent went to the wog cops. Of course she was declared and tossed out of the church. Zoe Woodcraft (had an OT-8 that sexually abused her and had her and the girls pee on his car. Most sexual abuse of children is never reported. Add JW’s. $cientologist, Boy Scouts and it is covered up more. Zoe Woodcraft has a video on youtube that talks about these camps. A friend of mine was sexually abused for years as a kid and has never gotten over it. It damages so much.
