Scientology says it’s ‘partnering’ with Miami police for Super Bowl anti-drug quackery

Is it really too much to expect a police department to enter the words “Foundation for a Drug-Free World” into a search engine and get a clue that this is one of Scientology’s sneaky front groups looking to rook law enforcement into its L. Ron Hubbard-burnishing, quack anti-drugs schemes?

My mom is the auditor in the ‘Reckless Ben’ Scientology infiltration videos

[Irmin Huber, keeping her TRs in.]

In 2017, we told you the devastating disconnection story of Clarissa Adams, a woman who had grown up in Scientology and then was cut off by both of her parents when she decided to leave the church. She hasn’t seen or spoken to her mother, Irmin Huber, since 2014, when Irmin cited a Scientology policy at her while they were both visiting Austria, where the family is originally from. Clarissa sent this account of what it was like to see her mother featured so prominently in the Reckless Ben videos, shot by a couple of young men who wore spy glasses into the Los Angeles Ideal Org several weeks ago.

Where in the world is Scientology leader David Miscavige?

[Come and get me]

Last summer, a powerful national legal team filed three lawsuits against the Church of Scientology and its leader David Miscavige on behalf of seven people who say they were victimized by the church. One of them alleges she was held against her will for years at a secretive Scientology compound, five others say they were subjected to a harassment campaign after four women came forward to accuse Scientologist actor Danny Masterson of rape, and the seventh victim says she was molested as a child while working for Scientology in Florida and Venezuela.

Narconon whistleblower Lucas Catton puts out a new memoir about his Scientology nightmare

[Lucas Catton]

We have a new entry in our ‘Scientology Lit’ series, this time an excerpt from a new book by Lucas Catton, who at one time was president of Scientology’s flagship drug rehab clinic, Narconon Arrowhead in Oklahoma. Back in 2012 Luke became a major whistleblower which got him an appearance on NBC’s ‘Rock Center’ program. He also came out with a 2013 book about his Narconon experience, ‘Have You Told All?’, which he later removed from the marketplace. Now he’s back with another memoir, ‘Reconnection,’ and he was kind enough to provide us with this excerpt from it.
