A Scientology ‘Fair Game’ tactic from way back: Sexually degrading harassment

[PAC Base, Los Angeles. Ana, you there?]

Jeffrey Augustine reveals some of Scientology’s dirty work, and we’ll caution you to be prepared for some off-color language ahead.

Scientology appears to be sending out sexually explicit harassing e-mails from someone claiming to be named “Ana Kasparin” and from the account ana209@mail.com.

One e-mail was sent to Mike Rinder and was posted on his blog:

Another one was sent Tuesday to my wife Karen de la Carriere:

This bit of Scientology ‘Fair Game’ fails for two reasons:

1. If Ana were a real Sea Org member who wanted to leave Pac Base, she would not have been able to leave the Base to see Mike Rinder.

2. If Ana were a real Sea Org member who wanted to leave Pac Base, she would not have had Karen’s e-mail address.

The intent of these e-mails is harassment and goes to the interstate pattern of Fair Game perpetrated by Scientology’s “Office of Special Affairs.”

The message ID of the Ana Kasparin e-mail is shown below and a PDF of the e-mail path is posted at the bottom of this article for posterity.

This kind of tactic is one Scientology has used for decades. In the early 1970s journalist Paulette Cooper was subjected to dirty phone calls and received pornographic magazines someone had subscribed her to. When the FBI raided Scientology in 1977, documents were found detailing the operation to investigate Cooper’s sex life and to harass her with such methods. Scientology never changes. Never.
