Scientology | The Underground Bunker

It’s only April, but we already have a leading contender for Scientology mother of the year!

We’ve run a number of stories in the past about Scientologists giving up their children to the organization’s staff and Sea Org, which can be brutal places to work for almost no pay. It’s been hard to read about people like Mirriam Francis, whose mother seemed so much more focused on Scientology than her own […]

Everything — even Scientology — is up to date in Kansas City, and here’s who’s responsible!

Rod Keller keeps an eye on Scientology’s Ideal Org program for us, and has an update from the […]

Hana Whitfield’s book excerpt: L. Ron Hubbard’s amidships meltdown over ‘Xemu’ and OT 3

[Hana Whitfield, from her appearance in ‘Going Clear’]

We sure have a treat for you today. On Thursday, after we posted excerpts from L. Ron Hubbard’s most notorious lecture, his 1968 lesson about Xenu/Xemu and a 75 million-year-old genocide, we heard from someone who served with Hubbard at the time, Hana Whitfield! We hope you remember […]

More proof that L. Ron Hubbard really did want Scientologists to consider him the Antichrist

Last night, we heard from our old friend Steve Hall after he read our interview with Justin Craig, who claims to be the returned L. Ron Hubbard. During our interview, Craig/LRH denied that the infamous “Original OT 8” materials were […]

Scientologists, gullible? Would they fall for a felon saying he’s the returned L. Ron Hubbard?

[He is risen?]

Secrecy is one of the things that most makes Scientology what it is. Although we know plenty about the origins of Scientology, its underlying materials, and much of its controversial history thanks to countless media exposes and court cases and defections, Scientologists themselves are still very tight-lipped about what Scientology is and how […]

Scientology’s space opera ideas aren’t just for the upper levels, as one key early book shows

Rod Keller reminds us that space opera is not just for the upper levels in Scientology, and it’s actively part of what Scientologists learn today, as much as David Miscavige wants to promote a more businesslike, self-help […]
