Ryan Hamilton has now filed his 25th lawsuit against the Church of Scientology’s drug rehab network, Narconon, and this time he’s opened up a new front — in the state of Florida.
Hamilton began filing his lawsuits in February, and limited them to cases in California, Nevada, and Colorado. They follow a pattern which grew more […]
We’re racing toward a new year again, and so it’s time to look back at the territory we covered in yet another twelvemonth here in the Underground Bunker.
As ever, we want to wish our commenting community a happy holidays and offer another big thanks for making the Bunker what it is. We hope our longtime […]
Bert Deixler
We heard from a couple of readers who have been keeping an eye on the federal docket in the Luis and Rocio Garcia lawsuit against the Church of Scientology that a new document had been filed by the church on December 5.
We thanked them, letting them know that we had noticed it, […]
On September 23, we told you about the struggles of a process server who was trying to serve a lawsuit on Scientology leader David Miscavige. Despite the best efforts of the security guards at the Hollywood Guaranty Building to keep the process server from getting anywhere near Miscavige, he managed to succeed under California law […]

The last time we posted a testimonial vid, it got ripped off by Buzzfeed without any credit. Let’s see […]
We have a few legal updates for you, and they involve the lawsuit filed by the National Association of Forensic Counselors against Scientology’s drug rehab network, Narconon, many of its employees, and Scientology’s leader, David Miscavige, as well.
A total of 82 defendants are scrambling to deal with the lawsuit, which alleges that they conspired to […]
We’re heading back to New York today after our visit to the fine city of Detroit for the Netroots Nation conference.
Yes, it was a challenge to keep the blog going while we were attending the confab. Especially Thursday afternoon, when we were scrambling to post the decision by the Texas Third Court of Appeals in […]
We’re still feeling stunned by yesterday’s decision by a Texas appeals court that got Scientology leader David Miscavige out of being deposed in Monique Rathbun’s lawsuit against the church. Austin appellate Justice Scott Field seemed a lot more interested in protecting corporate CEOs from having to answer questions in court than he was in the […]
