Leah Remini and Paulette Cooper? Scientology can start worrying now

Leah_Remini_Paulette_CooperWe have some more scenes for you from our book tour in California. Previously, we posted a photograph of your proprietor with the lovely Leah Remini. The King of Queens actress had come by a party hosted by Spanky Taylor in order to pick up a copy of our book, The Unbreakable Miss Lovely.

Leah also posed with Paulette Cooper, the subject of our book, and her husband Paul Noble. We sure love that photograph.

Also, from Sunday morning, video of our talk at the Steve Allen Theater on Hollywood Blvd. We’re introduced by CFI-West director James Underdown, and we got great questions from a capacity crowd…

And from yesterday, we had another great crowd, this time in El Cajon, near San Diego. Our thanks to the San Diego Association for Rational Inquiry for putting together an appearance for us with little advance notice. And how’s this for a twist: Bent Corydon, author of the 1987 book, L. Ron Hubbard: Messiah or Madman? showed up and we asked him to introduce us — he did a terrific job!

Bent_Corydon

Many of the people who showed up were readers of this website, and it’s always fun to put a face to an avatar!

Scientology gets the Double Dutch in the Netherlands

Alex Gibney’s documentary Going Clear aired in Sweden and the Netherlands in the last few days, and we’ve been receiving messages about what a big impact it’s had in those countries. And also, the Netherlands got a double helping of Scientology exposure, which we’ll allow a tipster to describe…

On the 19th of May there was finally Going Clear on national television. But yesterday there was something more locally done. A dutch television program called RAMBAM took a reporter in the Scientology church of Amsterdam. One undercover reporter starts with the Oxford Capacity test and does some basic auditing (nothing special, to be honest) all filmed with cameras. When she does a weekend auditing of a total of 90 euros (approx. $100) she gets audited by an 11 year old boy.

To find out more about Applied Scholastics schools, the reporter went to the only private school we have in the Netherlands with this kind of schooling. Luckily, only eight students are there so it is not that big as in the US. There were only some things that surprised me but I think you already know everything. For The Netherlands it is good that there is some more information about this church. If you want to look at it this is the link (sadly only Dutch).

Scientology in the New York Times

Las Vegas attorney Ryan Hamilton and crusader David Love made the New York Times, and now we wait to see if either of them will take a phone call from us ever again now that they’ve made the big time!

This is a great piece about the controversy in Trout Run, and it’s really wonderful to see the Times taking seriously the notion that Narconon delivers Scientology, not drug counseling. A corner may finally have been reached!

I’m Rushing to get this out before 2pm, I hope I make or my J&K stat will be in free fall and I’ll have to spend on all day Sunday at the Bunker.

So I was thinking about how Scientology was saying that entheta is boring. Of Course, if it’s boring then they need to clay demo the entheta and then they will get “MASS” on it and the boringness will blow-off. Here is a small sample from my a Clay Demo Check Shit for Entheta.

    Clam’s Study Guide to Entheta!
ONLY FULLY STANDARD CLAY DEMOS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

FAST FLOW STUDENTS: PhotoChops will be accepted in place of clay demos.
All Clay Demos/PhotoChops must be check off by me or another fully hatted GAG2 entheta supervisor.
You will then have to giggle at the Entheta Examiner.
F/Ns will not be accepted in place of J&K.

Contact the bunker for a list of available fully hatted GAG2 entheta supervisors and examiners.
All misunderstood words must be fully cleared using Method G.*

Supervisor Note: All Students not found J&king must word cleared. Students crying over their involvement in Co$ are to be given a great big huge!

    Clay Demo The Following:
How Mike Claughry Broke into The office of the World Federation for Mental Health ______
    An Idle Morgue ______
The Idle Morgue’s Stat of Ideal Sceintologists (Broke and Disconnect) _______
Number of People Scientology Claims to be at Idle Morgue Openings VS Actual Attendance VS number of protestors . _____

I love all you guys here! This is something really special you have. Thank you your comments have helped tremendously. I’m an almost in (years ago).
I watched Panorama/John Sweeney when it came out and was shocked, and shocked more when I saw the follow up. That was pretty much it apart from laughing at Tom Cruise.
Then came “Going Clear” and I became fascinated, watching all the You Tube videos from Tory, Chris and Karen etc. Read a lot of the books, Jenna M’s was heartbreaking, read a lot of blogs etc etc.
I couldn’t understand my obsession, but I slowly saw that a lot of my thinking had been influenced by someone who stole heavily from Scientology, I just never realized how much and how deep it was in my psyche. I thought it was all so long ago and behind me, and I had just wasted a few years. It seems so small though compared to the horrors of Sci, some here have been through. I am so lucky to have just narrowly missed it. My dad’s dry humor saved me I think. I appreciate how easy it is to get sucked into all this and how hard it is to shake it.
Can you imagine that one day
Wow, Scientologists, just read about those in the history books, you know.

    • “Can you imagine that one day Wow, Scientologists, just read about those in the history books, you know.”

      Nice one!

    • Andrea ‘i-Betty’ Garner

Hi, Libertylover 🙂 I agree – I bet it was your dad’s humour that saved you. We’ve learned here that it’s the best weapon and the best defence. Welcome to the Bunker.

      • Libertylover

        Hi Andrea!
You spelt humour the English way! I’m a Brit, living in NY! Spell check has almost made me forget after living here so long.

        • ze moo

You two have much to colour about….now please pronounce aluminum.

          • Andrea ‘i-Betty’ Garner

            Al-YOU-min-yum, sir!

        • Andrea ‘i-Betty’ Garner

It’s always nice to meet a fellow Brit!

    • pluvo

I like very much when (new) Bunkerites tell how they arrived here and tell their stories.
“I’m an almost in“ made me chuckle. As an ex, I find it somehow amusing when people introduced themselves with “never-in”; I once said “ I’m a too long in” to go with the flow. But an “almost in”, that’s new and funny.
What was it, the “influenced by someone who stole heavily from Scientology”, can you tell?
Nice to have you hear with us.

      • Libertylover

        Hi Pluvo!
Sorry had to run out for a bit.
Glad you got a chuckle out of that! Well it was Werner Erhard, he is/was much more subtle, even said he had tried a few programs at Scientology. A real BS’er. I worked for him for free, got to be around him quite a bit. He stopped people from talking by signing a legal agreement not to talk.
I recognize so much, withholds, touch assists, confronts, cloned leaders, hypnotism, doublespeak…so much more. Makes so much sense now. I think I even remember Scientology confronting him and overhearing him on with his lawyers. I even sadly used to yell at people like he did, copying his style, believing it was for the best, so people could, “get off it.” I’m sorry for doing that. I feel like Hubbard went all out, and will be completely exposed. Erhard was already a con and did a Hubbard lite. I will write more about it one day. I actually think he still runs it (pretty sure) but is hiding. It’s called Landmark now. He has gotten away with it basically.
Ironically being his assistant was what woke me up! Listening to his deviousness on the phone clued me in. I think he thought me cynical, but I was hiding an idealist inside of that! LOL

      • Libertylover

One of those glossy Scientology brochures really interested me in my early 20’s. I think it was my Dad taking the piss out of Diane-tics that stopped me! Lucky break!

    • Eclipse-girl

I just was reviewing the Netherlands article, checking for new comments
As I read you comment it was in a Bryan Cranston voice.

  • villagedianne

” . . . she gets audited by an 11 year old boy.”

I imagine there are things that could come up in an auditing session with a grown woman that are not appropriate for an 11 year-old boy (or girl for that matter) to hear.

    • Juicer77

      Ya think?!?

    • SP Wogsy

Definitely. There is a video with Astra Woodcraft who talked about the time she was an ethics officer in the Sea org. She was not yet 18, and she had to listen to guys confessing some of their extracurricular activities during sec checks. disgusting!

      • Donna Cline Sargent

she was 15 and had to handle a guy for masturbating

Removals trend for the month of May. The scale is proportional but not the true scale, we do not want to give too much info to Tony Chen & osa

  • Mark

Ooh look! the Fleabags is moored facing the Aruba Port Authority webcam again, so you can see all the comings and goings on the dockside. Could they be short of mooring-fee money? I think the locals are getting a bit pissed off with Davy’s rustbucket, because it evidently had to move over this morning to accommodate a couple of posh yachts on the cruise-ship side of the dock, where it normally ties up: http://www.portarubawebcam.com/

    • Mockingbird

That is the first time I have seen the Freewinds slave ship called the Fleabags .In a routine Scientology propaganda by reversal a ship manned by slaves that covertly enslaves others for the cult gets called Freewinds . Touché DM , by continuing Hubbard’s rhetorical methods , and extensive policy of blatant lies about measurable and obvious statistics you prove that you know , and have always known it iis 100% a con .Thank you .

      • Mark

It’s there every week from Wednesday to Saturday; a bit like watching an online ant-farm with some sort of nest-virus.

        • MostEthicalPimp

I actually tried to find a webcam of an ant farm but java won’t work on my machine 🙁

        • Mockingbird

So, you can watch it a lot of the time ? The reason I ask is because I am sure some poor family members of those Sea Org slaves have no idea if their loved ones are alive or not as the cult denies them any communication . It may really help some poor folks to at least know there family members are in a certain port. It could help an intervention effort .

          • Mark

Makes a good screensaver if I’m doing something else. The camera’s never close enough for sufficient detail to identify anyone, but the ship itself plies a very regular course—Aruba Wednesdays to Saturdays, Kralendijk on Bonaire Sundays-Mondays, and Willemstad on Curaçao Tuesdays. It’s occasionally supposed to visit ports in South America, but that hasn’t happened for a while. I think the best we can hope for is the engines break down so badly and so expensively that the ship’s only remaining value is as (asbestos-riddled) scrap: not such a long shot, considering the immense clouds of black smoke it puts out when leaving Aruba, usually at the dead of night local time.

            • Mockingbird

DM would say SPs sabotaged it ! And this is a call to action for a new ideal fleet of ships ! He will get 200 million from the Douchachushetts crowd er I mean the Duggans , Cardones, Nancy Cartwright, Tom Cruise ,John Travolta , and Kirstie Alley .

The regging will drive 98% of Scientologists into extreme poverty and then they will either join staff or the Sea Org or be SP declared as CICS .After giving their families life savings , of course .

The remaining 2% will be catered to hand and foot by Sea Org slaves 24/7 to cutvoff all negative information about Scientology .

They will have high end resorts staffed cheaply as slaves who make nothing , have no benefits or medical care and packed up like sardines cost quite little .

The caste system Hubbard dreamed of and the Scientology super wealthy desire will be a reality .

            • Mark

Are you channelling Tiny Dick’s secret fantasies unawares? I’m still banking on the 1960’s vintage engines seizing up 😉

            • Mockingbird

There are so many things wrong with that sentence… Ugh.

            • PickAnotherID

Personally, I’d rather see it blow the seal on the engine cooling sea water main induction valve and turn into a new reef.

    • Simi Valley

I read this somewhere online (so it must be true) that when DM is on board the Freakwinds, he pilfers money from the clams’ petty cash accounts to go gamble at the casinos on the island(s).

      • Mark

Is there no depth of depravity he’s not willing to plumb? Probably not.

Thanks so much for sharing “The Unbreakable Miss Lovely” book signing/talk. it was a great audience asking thought provoking questions being skillfully and honestly answered by Tony and Paulette. Kudos to the videographer for the good work, too. I so much respect for the freelance journalists who tenaciously work on these stories that many major news outlets back away from due to Scientology’s deep pockets and litigious reputation.

Don’t Miss “The Holy Sh*t Show,” A Circus Game Show Lampooning Scientology, Hosted By Jamie DeWolf!

DeWolf’s current venture takes the kind of performances he’s known for, featuring comedy, burlesque, circus arts, slam poetry, and audience participation, loads them like rounds into an AK-47 of a show, and places Scientology firmly in its sights. The blacklisted, redheaded stepchild will wage war against all forms of religious zealotry.

In addition to the zaniness, the show will begin with special guests Tony Ortega and Paulette Cooper, who will lead a no holds barred discussion and Q&A. Two of the most knowledgeable journalists on the subject of Scientology, Ortega was featured in HBO’s “Going Clear”, and Paulette Cooper wrote one of the first exposes about the cult in the 1970s, which resulted in her being ruthlessly targeted by the infamous cult.

Expect creation myths retold in interpretive dance, saviors on stripper poles, a battle-rap roasting Hubbard, as well as infamous cult figures singing songs and slamming each other in dirty haiku. Nothing is sacred and no jokes, or zealots, are left behind. You may even see Tom Cruise, Jim Jones, Charles Manson, David Koresh, Jesus Christ and Xenu himself portrayed right on stage. Competitive audience battles will ensue in a series of increasingly deranged contests.

    • NOLAGirl (Stephanie)

Awww!! A good way to cap off an evening, seeing a glorious SP enjoying life.

*waves* Hey Baby, miss you. Keep having fun. 😀

      • Baby

OH Nolly.. Thanks you.. I am having a blast.. I was taken away as a surprise by my daughter and step daughter .. They surprised me and have been planning it with my hubby.. Perfect and I needed it..

I said I needed a break from Scientology and brought Tony’s book..bawwwwwwwhahahhaa.. It is so good, but can’t read it a long time because the girls deserve my attention.. So I sneak it!

        • Free Minds, Free Hearts

          Oh how wonderful Baby!

    • Robert Hammond

I’m sure you’ve got this before, but just had to say it once from me, “Nobody puts Baby in a corner.” Now hear it from Patrick Swayze: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28A9Jgo92GQ

      • Baby

awwwwwwwwwww Robert thank you.. I haven’t heard it in a long time..I was due..hahahhaha xoxo

    • Mymy88

ooooooo. I love the ocean! That is a fantastic pic!

  • TinyTyrant

Don’t know if this has been posted. Short article from the Netherlands regarding the reaction to child auditors, but I think the best part is how “Mark”, who was attacking the story, was outed as a german OSA.

    http://www.nltimes.nl/2015/05/21/scientology-doc-revelations-concern-amsterdam-alderman/

    • Juicer77

Ooooooo, busted! And then he shuts up 🙂

  • chukicita

Whoever posted the Port Aruba cam link, thanks. It’s fun to watch.

    http://www.portarubawebcam.com/

I just watched some poor guy dressed in black spend about 10 minutes setting up some kind of net thing around the gangplank stairs (I am not a nautical person).

EDIT: They just turned the lights on and it’s all festive.

    • chukicita

I wonder if there’s something going on tonight on the Slavewinds. I watched a white van pull up about half an hour ago (you can see its nose behind the red Fugro ship) and two people get out and make their way to the carousel thingie next to the smokestack (again, not nautical) at the top of the ship. Then guy in black spends a Dick Van Dyke moment with the netting around the stairs or whatever. A larger van pulls in and parks out of sight behind the red Fugro ship. Oh, they finally turned on the lights on the string in the middle.

      • Peggy oh!

Oh chukcita you make me chuckle!

“Dick Van Dyke moment with the netting”

        I can totally picture it!

        • chukicita

Two guys just carried something white and heavy down the stairs off the ship. This is better than TV.

          • Tracsar

I wonder. If people on the Freewinds have been cut off from the outside world, especially for as long as many of the members have been in, would they even be aware of the webcam? Do they even know it’s there?

            • chukicita

Hard to say. Nobody’s waving at it or anything. I bet it’s a need-to-know-basis thing.

It would be great if someone strung a big ol’ SOS banner. Then we’d know.

          • Peggy oh!

Was it a man size box?

      • Sibs

I have no idea what you’re talking about but your prose amuses me.

        • chukicita

I’m watching the Freewinds on the Port Aruba webcam.

          • Sibs

I know. I can’t watch the webcam on my phone so I’m relying on your description. Keep at it!

            • chukicita

Well I got up to fry a few chicken skins and when I looked again, the vehicles had pulled away and it’s too dark to see the gangplank clearly anymore. So looks like the bank drop or whatever is over. They sure have a lot of lights on board, though. The door by the stairs is still open and there’s someone standing in the doorway, like they’re on duty or something.

    • Observer

I wonder if they turned on the lights because they know they’re on the cam.

No amount of festivity can cover up the atrocities that have occurred on that accursed scow.

    • Mark

I’m wondering how long those poor buggers on the cherry-picker painting the hull will have to keep working; they’ve been at it all afternoon and it’s almost dark there now.

      • chukicita

It looks like they’re loading up something.

        • Mark

Whatever they’re up to, they evidently scoff at health-and-safety laws aboard the bad ship Fartwinds

          • chukicita

            You mean the Asbestoswinds?

            • Mark

Or the Bumbreeze, or the Bottycough

        • Rasha

Oooooooo… pass the skins. PLEASE!! I meant, Please!

          • chukicita

Help yourself! Roti chicken skins are almost good as popcorn.

    • Dawn G

It has sound! We might be able to hear the “all hands on deck” blow drill. I’m so stoked.

    • Eivol Ekdal

Did you know that you can replay any day from that cam here?

Hello, lurker here. I’ve never been in Scientology but I’ve studied cults and their tactics for years. Had discovered Operation clambake and read everything I could get my hands on.. and that was *before* I fell into a cult for six years. The strange part was the cult that i was a part of was never based on money. But even the leader herself called it a cult one night, to my face, in front of the other most important folks and even that wasn’t enough to wake me up. We used to joke about that sort of thing and I waited for them to laugh- and they didn’t. It wasn’t about money. Which is why it didn’t trigger my suspicions until I had to be sat down and have things explained to me by unexpected allies (who are now some of my closest friends) in a devastating night when my whole world came apart.

And as bad as my experience was, it was nothing at all compared to what Paulette and you guys have been through. Some things there are no excuses for.

Even knowing what I knew, it’s not necessarily easy to understand how someone gets hooked until it happens to you. I didn’t discover the Bunker until very recently, to my embarrassment.. though I suspect a lot of the information I’d read about CoS came from Tony anyways. What everyone is doing here is amazing to me and gives me hope. From my own experience it became clear very quickly once our group fell apart that there’s very few relationships or friendships as strong as those between people who have been through the same experiences. It’s in full force here too, and it’s that one thing that for all his money DM will never have. And that will be his downfall. Monsters live in the dark and sunshine is the best disinfectant. You guys have impacted people far beyond Scientology. And now I’m crying. Thank you all.

    • Eclipse-girl

      Welcome.
its fun to have new people.

      • Tracsar

        thanks.

        • Eclipse-girl

Robert H is correct. Never In’s probably do outnumber Exes.

This can be a harsh site in that we do not tolerate “woo.”

One can have the freedom to believe what they want.

Just don’t try and tell us “the tech” work 100% when applied correctly.
Lots of us know that is false and will get after anyone who writes such balderdash.

          • Tracsar

Not interested in telling anyone else what to believe. Just want to advocate for people to make up their own minds and give some tools to help with critical thinking.

            • Eclipse-girl

              Sounds good to me.

    • Robert Hammond

Welcome. Most of the people here, myself included, were “never-in” Scientology. But we are all learning and sharing our experiences. Take off your hat and coat. You’re home.

      • Tracsar

        Thank you Robert.

    • Andrea ‘i-Betty’ Garner

Welcome to the Bunker, Tracsar. I wish I could give you a cuddle. I hope you’ll stay 🙂

      • Tracsar

        Thanks i-Betty. It’s a lovely site here.

    • ReallyMGM

Welcome. This is good place. Don’t blame yourself. You were a victim of coercive manipulation, and it can happen to anyone. Have you read anything by Steve Hassan? His books are a wealth of information on the subject. ToryMagoo44 on YouTube has a recent video with him. Also Chris Shelton’s videos are great.

      • Tracsar

I’m in the middle of several of his books right now. it helps to have it all outlined for me, though sometimes the emotion of it is overwhelming and I have to put it down and go outside or something. Which is why I’m scared to read Tony’s book, though I’ll probably get there eventually. I’m putting together a class on cults for general public to be done at my friends’ store. .

        • NOLAGirl (Stephanie)

RMGM has given you some good suggestions. Chris Shelton’s videos are really good. Welcome to the Bunker. 🙂 *refresh*

          • Tracsar

            Thanks NOLA. 🙂

        • ReallyMGM

I certainly understand why you wouldn’t want to read any first person narratives of cult survivors until you are well into your own recovery. Protect yourself from any triggers that might bring on an anxiety attack. I was never in, but understand PTSD from a firsthand perspective (natural disaster survivor). While it will never go away, I have learned to live with it by putting protective barriers around me (literally and figuratively). My good friends understand and support me. Doing the class is a great thing…

          • Tracsar

It’s difficult to avoid everything, but what I have learned is to separate the things I loved so much from the people I used to do them with but whom I no longer want to associate with. You’re a trouper, doing what you need to to get by. That’s a brave thing, and it’s good you have people around you who understand and support you.

    • Ella Raitch

Welcome Tracsar! As to getting hooked…it happens one day at a time. You are in good company.

    • The Dude

Welcome my friend. Can I get you a beer? We only have PBR because no one else will kick in beer money.
No, really. Stick around there are a great bunch of people here from all backgrounds.

      • Tracsar

Hi Dude.. unfortunately I don’t drink. Though there are days I feel like starting. Long story. But thank you. 🙂

        • The Dude

Jeff Hawkins has some great books. He is like a Rock Star to me.

          • Tracsar

I’ll have to look for them. Thanks for the tip.

            • The Dude

Start with “Counterfeit Dreams”. Page turner.

            • Eclipse-girl

When ever you need a book request, there will be plenty of suggestions.

Take it slow and easy. Do not read too many in a row. That gets to your psyche.

Before you read Tony O’s book, read Paulette’s book.
              It is available on line.

            • Tracsar

Thank you. I think I did read her book back in the day. Some of her comments seemed familiar. I distinctly remember reading her account of what happened when her book came out and it terrified me.

            • Eclipse-girl

              it would terrify anyone.

            • L. C. Spencer

I always recommend to new folks that they start with Bare Faced Messiah, the amazing Hubbard bio that also serves as an insider Scientology history (through his death, of course). That way you have all the background you need to make sense of everybody else’s stories. It’s very well-researched and riveting. Truly stranger than fiction.

            • Tracsar

Great recommendation. I read that one in the earlier days too. Might have to find it again. So well researched. It opened my eyes to what he was and it was stomach churning to find out what he got away with. And it shows why co$ is always worse than you think.

      • Dawn G

Come for the Scientology watching, stay for the explosive diarrhea.

        • The Dude

Oh…… You must have tried my 3 day old chili dip. I was supposed to throw that away.
          My Bad!

      • Vaquera

Passing one to ya’ Dude. Cheers!
(Flying fishing on the Madison River)

        • The Dude

Keep em in a bag in the river. Nice and chilled. Sweet! Hope you are having a grand time!

          • Vaquera

It was last year, but I’ll be there again in July.

      • L. C. Spencer

Say what? I brought a whole case of Rasputin. If you drank all that by yourself, you ain’t drivin’ me home, buddy.

        • Ah, Rasputin. Good stuff.

          • L. C. Spencer

            Nectar of the gods.

        • Hamtaro

          Hi L.C.,

I’m asking you a question on this very old thread so it doesn’t appear on the main page. Once you changed your screen name, I noticed the same name came up on Gawker. And it was one of the few people I used to follow on Gawker many moons ago. TBH, I quit commenting there when the caliber of folks went straight downhill, but you must obviously be from the “good ole times.” Can I ask: what was your name there before? I’m just curious because there was a really nice group of highly intelligent folks that used to snark about and it was fun. Thanks in advance.

          • MarcabExpat

If you’d let me know when you got my reply, I’d appreciate it as I’m going to delete the reply below, I mean, edit it out. I have to change my Twitter, too, but haven’t figured out how I need to arrange that one yet. I really need 2 twitter accounts — one personal and one not — but you have to link them to different email accounts so that’s a bit of a pain.

I didn’t change my avatar, still have the same Tolkien-related one. I made a lot of Scientology comments. In fact, back in the day, that was how I originally got starred, by answering a Scientology question with way more info than anyone else. That was in the midst of the Gawker-hosting-the-Tom-Cruise-video firestorm. I was never witty enough to get starred for the funny, but back then you could also get starred for being “service-y.” Good times. Sure has gone downhill since Kinja. They still know how to do Scilon snark, though, so I keep an eye on them.

            • Hamtaro

Hey thanks! Feel free to delete now. And yeah, I definitely remember your comments. Those old days were fun. Some of the smartest snark ever. Thanks for replying.

    • Tree

Hi and welcome, I am new here myself and just getting comfortable. I too have been interested in the cult phenomena after my favorite Auntie became a Jehovah’s Witness when I was 8 or 9 and it changed our family forever. My tipping point came pretty early with CO$ but not early enough and like you I had done my reading on cults. Cult is a funny word though I think almost any formal organization can have a few elements of “cult”, even some great ones. It is all about the degree of darkness and oppression and Scientology is one of the darkest and worse than you can ever imagine as has been said many times!

      • Tracsar

Hi Tree. It’s a fascinating topic to try to understand. It’s devastating when you see it close up. My hope is through work like Tony’s that people understand that it’s precisely the people who say ‘that can’t happen to me’ that can be affected the most.

    • Beth

Tracsar, this is not a benign world we live in, unfortunately. Money, intelligence, integrity, bravery – none of these things can make a person immune from the harm of predators of one kind or another. The best we can do is examine our experience and find kindred souls to help us heal from hardship. In that process, hopefully we can learn to love and forgive ourselves more deeply and gain a little wisdom for the next time a challenge comes along. Glad you found this virtual hospice :-). Scientology is a glaring example of a certain kind of abuse that rings true for alot of us whether we were ever in the church or not. That’s why this bunker is so awesome :-). I hope you stick around and keep posting 🙂

      • Tracsar

Thanks Beth. It’s a process, for sure. Seeing Tony, Paulette, Leah and everyone come out the other side and be willing to speak up about it is so heartening. What I love most is that even if CoS tries to sue someone now or have them followed they will have openly confirmed everything the critics are saying. Which drives more people away.

        • Beth

Amen! Watching the tables turn on those rats is awesome 🙂

    • Juicer77

      Welcome, Tracsar!

      • Tracsar

        Thanks Juicer.

    • L. C. Spencer

Howdy and welcome. Stick around, you’re not the only one here coming from a non-Scilon cult!

      • Tracsar

Thanks LC. Glad I’m not the only one. 🙂

    • Rasha

Hi, Tracsar!! It is a fascinating subject, at all levels of exposure, and yes, these are wonderful people. Thanks for joining in!!! Grab a kitteh and some caek!! Welcome!!

      • Tracsar

I love caek. And Kittehs, though they make me sneeze. Thanks.

    • PickAnotherID

Around here crying’s okay. So is laughing. And laughing until you cry is also good.

Unlike $cientololgy, expressing emotions is not only allowed, it’s actually encouraged around here. Because having emotions means your alive and a human being.

Thank you so much for posting the video from the tour. I think I speak for many bunkerittes when I say I’m thrilled that I (and we) were able to see one of these events when I (or we) may not otherwise be able to (though I hope to attend one in person.)

What you both are doing is amazing. I say this not in a parental way, but in a person to person way…im proud of of what you are doing, and that there are people such as Tony and Paulette with the internal moral compass pointed solidly in the direction of standing up for, and proving education and voices for those cant or won’t for any number of reasons.

BRAVO and THANK YOU. You are appreciated!

    • Ella Raitch

I remember your first post here and look at you now – all the way up to 186!

      • BraveBloggers

Ty. But truth speaks for itself. I think the bunkerittes sometimes just speak truth at higher volumes, if you will.

Ortega and Ebner together in The Lip TV’s studios, you say, Tony? Yum.

For those who haven’t seen this Oct ’13 interview yet. Back to tonight’s show with Tony and Paulette…

      https://youtu.be/lthXXnGjEIQ

      • Robert Hammond

Wow! Andrea, I hadn’t seen this interview. Thanks for posting it here. I did not know that Leah Remini was named as a witness in the Monique Rathbun lawsuit against Scientology. Do you know if Leah has already been deposed in that case?

        • Andrea ‘i-Betty’ Garner

It’s 2:30 here, Robert, so I’m not completely with it, but in the back of my mind – yes, she has already been deposed. I’m sure someone will swiftly correct me if I’m wrong 🙂

          • Robert Hammond

Cheers. And isn’t it off to Bedfordshire time for you?

    • SarahDB

So awesome to see two videos today with Tony and Paulette! Almost as good as being there.

    • L. Wrong Hubturd

That color scheme is really making me nervous that all these years of listening to this album have had some kind of subliminal Scientology effect on me. *refresh*

  • JMasiulewicz

Last night 13.76 viewers laughed at Letterman’s jab at $cilogy. Thanks Dave.

    • The Dude

      “New Face of $cientology” indeed……
He had his chance with Travolting but just smiled and nodded. I lost a lot of respect for him that night.

      • Jimmy3

He’s not the type of person to invite someone on as a guest and ambush him. I don’t see why you should lose respect because he’s a nice guy and a professional.

        • Jimmy3

I mean, except for poor Harvey Pekar. Dave always fucked with that guy, but I think he was drinking back then.

          • Vaquera

            Love American Splendor.

            • Eclipse-girl

Paul Giamatti was so good in that role

            • The Dude

I only know the stuff he did with Robert Crumb

            • Eclipse-girl

              Harvey couldn’t draw.

He had artists for all of his ideas.

            • The Dude

I am a huge Crumb fan. A friend gave me the book he did with Bukowski. At the time I didn’t even know it existed. Proud collector of books.

            • Eclipse-girl

              books. another tangent 😉

              Nuff said.

            • Jimmy3

              …That’s me.

No, not really. I just saw it on ESPN’s bball coverage and thought it was funny. The Cavs hooked he and his family up, apparently. Dan Gilbert and LeBron loved it so much, they met with them personally and gave them a bunch of stuff. Good PR.

        • Kay

          Agree with you, shroomy

        • The Dude

Dave has always been a asshole. But like a true asshole. he can talk a lot really strong but when confronted by the person. Meek and mild. Eech

          • Jimmy3

The only time he’s really an asshole is when he knows his guest is not entertaining. Like, he was a dick to Paris Hilton because she’s an airhead and not interesting at all. It was a bad interview. Same with Joaquin Phoenix, even tho that was a hoax, Dave realized he was being a boring shithead, so he messed with him.

I’ll come to your house and chew gum!

            • The Dude

Or Crispin Glover. The first guy to tell him off for being a ass.

          • Libertylover

Terry Gross on NPR played a really old, pre-fame, interview with him a few years ago. I didn’t recognize Dave’s voice. He had a VERY strong NY City/ Brooklyn accent, since then I have imagined that he is somewhat restrained, keeping that in check.

            • MaxSpaceman

odd, in that he’s from Indiana.

            • Libertylover

Yep, sorry I got that all wrong didn’t I? I remember Terry saying he sounded different. I was in my car. I went back and listened (to the archive online and he does sound different but there are other people in the piece too and I thought confused it was Letterman talking. I stand corrected, thanks for pointing that out gently, sorry.

        • He sure was that type. He did it with Bush and did it with people whose politics he didn’t like. But four Presidents were still good-natured last night and appeared in the opening.

      • SP Wogsy

I agree with you Dude – Public humiliation in front of millions of viewers would have been a better option.

      • Missionary Kid

Dave isn’t a Mike Wallace type of interviewer. While one can hope for a confrontation, it wasn’t his shtick. Also, Revolta probably brought his family along to forstall any questions.

If Dave would have confronted John in from of his family, Dave could be portrayed as the asshole, and many people would have bought it.

        • Kay

Travolta did have his wife and new son there. Letterman does an entertainment talk show, not investigative reporting. I think it is significant that on his last show, he launched a zinger. I’m happy for that, and do not fault him for the Travolta Interview. Who knows how much he even knew about Scientology when Travolta was on? Better not to say anything than say something that makes everything worse, or makes Travolta look like a victim.

        • The Dude

I have to disagree. He was just in for the laughs. One jab would have been enough. But NO, not even a snarky remark.

          • Vaquera

Not a remark, but there was snark….”I can see clearly now…”

            • The Dude

That was Paul. He is still The Shizznit in my book.

            • Vaquera

You think they weren’t in on it together?

            • The Dude

I guess I would be a fool to think that was just Paul ad-libing, huh?

            • The Dude

They listed Paul as “The Shiv” on The Briefcase Full of Blues.

          • You are correct. He’s a fairly gutless guy that way. He threw out the $cio joke this time because it’s now safe to do so and no one’s worried about getting sued.

            • Vaquera

He did an all Scio top ten list two weeks or so before Travolta’s last guest spot.

            • The Dude

EXACTLY! That is my whole point. When he had the chance he folded.

            • Vaquera

What light entertainment talk show host HAS ever grilled a Scio celebrity? Oprah? Leno? Anyone?

            • The Dude

Oprah is too busy fixing her couch.
              Sorry. I had to.

            • Vaquera

Yes, but, that is my point. Letterman has at least broached the subject in a J/D manner.

            • The Dude

I have had a bug up my ass for Letterman for a while. I just don’t like the guy.

            • Vaquera

We are on different teams, but I have respect for your dislike. However, are you holding Letterman to a higher bar tonight when it comes to grilling scientology celebrities face-to-face?
(I’m running out the door for a dinner, so please don’t be insulted if my response is delayed.)

            • The Dude

Let us just say that I was not surprised at all when he didn’t say a thing.
Of course my dislike for Letterman has probably fueled this debate, I must admit.

            • Nobody goes after Travolta much because he plays amiable dunce well, but someone should, and Letterman was pretty lax with $cio guests all along.

            • Missionary Kid

What late night host has gone after a guest, unless that’s their shtcki?

            • Vaquera

              ^^^

            • Johnny Carson. He had some very tense moments with Karen Black on the Tonight Show once. Another time he and Robert Blake were knocking $cientology and Blake said “You don’t get well holding a couple of soup cans.” Carson’s son Corey did the Comm Course at the old Celebrity Centre on 8th Street and Johnny was none too happy about that. Michael Roberts ($cio) was a running character (a pimp) on “Baretta” and other $cios appeared on it and Blake didn’t like them.

            • The Dude

Carson was a rock. Just the fact that he would have Randi on at the same time as other charlatans say a lot to me!

            • Missionary Kid

Carson did not have Randi on with the televangelist. Randi went undercover and caught the guy using a tiny receiver in his ear so he could hear his wife reading information off of prayer request cards that he would use as if god was speaking to him with the information.

Randi used a spectrum analyzer to find the radio frequency used, then recorded the wife’s comments and played them back in synch with the televangelist’s broadcast.

It put the guy off the air for years, but he’s back on late night.cable, but he’s not using the radio trick any more.

            • The Dude

Thanks Skip. I am a Carson and Kimmel fan. Dave always seemed like a bully to me. I have always thought if it was not for the paycheck Paul would have bailed long ago. He was like a whipping boy.

            • Me, too. I like Fallon as well. He’s pure entertainment, probably more talented than another who’s ever hosted Tonight (except Steve Allen, who was more talented than about everyone). Dave as a bully is kind of right. People are forgetting how he admitted a few years back about having repeated affairs with women who worked for him, kind of because he could, like Clinton admitted about Monica – with guys who do that, it’s always about power.

            • The Dude

My point. Just another star that thinks he is above everyone. IMO.

            • AintMizBahavin

o remember that well and one of his assisstants ended up in a mental hospital thanks to him and their affair

            • Oh, but he’s a comedian, except when creating a hostile work environment… http://www.vanityfair.com/style/2009/10/david-letterman-200910

            • daytoncapri

What do you have on the mental hospital? This is all I could find, but it was a stalker, not one of his assistants. http://www.tampabay.com/news/humaninterest/letterman-played-his-role-in-an-elaborate-sting/1041192

            • daytoncapri

I give the guy some points for contrition on the last show. He didn’t have to do that. Also, he showed some self-awareness in an Oprah interview (not on his show) that in many ways, life has been too easy for him: comfortable regimentation, no need for money, and get this: other people even operated the phone so he wouldn’t have to (he brought that subject up). His closing goodbye was good.

And yeah, he’s probably insufferable on many levels, and I feel bad for anyone close to him.

          • Missionary Kid

What you and I want is different than what someone does. Carson was no fan of phony televangelists, but he had Randi on to nail the jerk to a figurative cross.

Dave and all the late night hosts didn’t get there by being confrontational.

So, I’m rearranging the “Traveling Miss Lovely” photo album and writing humorous blurbs for each place she’s visited with the intention to submit the album to Imgur and Reddit – with the hopes that it will start trending and get in front of potentially millions of eyeballs. (I’ve been studying some massively-viewed photo sets on Imgur and noticing similarities in their style and approach, even if they cover wildly disparate subjects. Plus, did you have any idea how huge Imgur is? I didn’t.) Wouldn’t it be fun if Miss Lovely became the Scientology-smashing literary equivalent of the traveling gnome?

I need some help with the following photos where I didn’t note the terrestrial locations very well, and I lack the mental wherewithal to go scouring through thousands of comments to find them again. If the original photographer (or anyone with a good idea) has a story behind the photo, I’d love to hear it. Otherwise I’ll just wing it.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: The following pictures contain faces, which I intend to submit to Imgur and Reddit which means these faces will (hopefully) be seen by lots of people. Let me know if you don’t want that, and I’ll remove the picture.

Finally, a silly question: Should I spell “traveling” as “travelling”? I’m ‘Murican so I use the first spelling; however, the fabulously successful Travelling Gnome meme almost always used the British (and thus more international) spelling. What do you guys think?

PLUS – If you have more traveling photos, please post them! Thanks for your help!

    Hey Dave,

For a guy that started out as a heel,
you’ve come up in the world – now you’re an asshole.

I just wrote you a song for tomorrow night –
when Jamie tears you a new one.
    It’s called “Excoriate”

    Jamie raucous, loud and clear.
Shake, DM, the end is near.
    Strippers dancing round a pole,
Better naked than in the Hole.

They’ll flay you in the papers,
    They’ll flay you on tv
They’ll flay you in the movies
So all the world can see.

    To your prisoner clams,
    To your lying shams,
    To your endless scams,
Drink your drams, heh, Jamie slams.

They’ll flay you in the papers,
    They’ll flay you on tv
They’ll flay you in the movies
So all the world can see.

You lorded it with the idiot rich
Now karma is a perfect bitch
Your taste was only ever kitsch,
Soon you’ll be a prison snitch

They’ll flay you in the papers,
    They’ll flay you on tv
They’ll flay you in the movies
So all the world can see.

OMG, I’ve never seen this before. Vera de Milo sounds exactly like Alice from Super Jail. (Which I won’t link here, but if you’re a fan of sick, dark and twisted — and I mean twisted — animation, then Super Jail is for you.)

          • Mymy88

Hey, I appreciate that you are a fan of that genre or (I guess that is what you would call it), but I’m an old fogee and my mama did not raise me on that kind of milk. I’m not saying liking what you like is bad. I know many many people that are a lot younger than me that LOVE that stuff. So some people like broccoli and some spinach, it makes no difference to me. I eat my broccoli and they eat there spinach and everybody is happy. So go for it. Rock on thatAlice from Super Jail animation and I’ll rock on my kind of animation ‘Kimba the White Lion’.

DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT RITALIN IS???!!!

No. Can I make a dress out of it?

          • Eclipse-girl

This is not an answer for everyone.

In HS , I was given some Ritalin from an older brother who got it from his best friend’s younger brother.

I did the two tablets. I remember that has being such a wonderful, positive feeling day.
It still sticks in my memory some 30 yr later

Fast forward, decades later, somehow we were given a script for my daughter and it got filled. My daughter didn’t do well on that drug.
Here I was with an almost filled bottle of the drug. I ended up giving it to my therapist because I was a bit scared of enjoying it too much.

Yeah, I am scared doing any speedy type drug in my middle age

            • Jimmy3

I was on Ritalin. It sucks. Stick with Adderall.

            • Eclipse-girl

long story – daughter has some ADD that is either growing less of a problem with maturity or she has a greater set of coping school.
I believe it was her anxiety that was the larger issue. that is also becoming less of a problem as she matures.

I lived north of campus of Ohio State in the 70s. Can you imagine: The local pharmacy was giving away discontinued sample medication to their customers – maybe a couple pills in a of couple of blister packages. I didn’t seek to do drugs, but that aspirin substitute gave me unexpected joy. The second time was just as joyful.

            • Todd Tomorrow

I did LSD, and Shrooms years ago in college. Now now I worry I’m too old even though back in the day I never had a bad trip. Never been a speedy drug person except maybe coke a few times at parties back in the day. One of my girlfriend’s is a psychiatrist and I have friend begging me to ask her for a script for that. He works at a high tech company and claims it will help him. Last month I told him to never ask me again, that she knows I’m nervous and parinoid enough! Told him ,”You have good insurance, go Dr. shopping”

            • Eclipse-girl

I have done my fair share of drugs.

She’s totally that pretty hot yet completely self-absorbed girl who dances right in front of the DJ booth because she wants everybody to look at her, and who kind of flails around because she doesn’t have very good rhythm, and dances with her back to the DJ — and totally annoys the DJ because she’s blocking the view and dances like an idjit. All the genuinely hot and groovy girls do the their best to ignore the Joy Villas of the world, especially when they’re trying to get down to good house music.

    Co$ in Pop Culture Report:

Some of this might have been mentioned before, but I’d like to quickly bring up that Scientology is much more regular mentions than in the past. The cat is totally out of the bag in the public eye, which means that Immortan Ron and Rictus Davey’s silly little cult is now officially a buzz word for secretive and vindictive, though largely toothless organizations. To wit:

    1. David Letterman joked in the opening monologue of his final show that he was thinking of becoming the public face of Scientology. (I know this relates to the earlier joke of having the “spokesperson” on his show, but it got brought back up.)

    2. At Cannes, director Gaspar Noe, having basically made a porno, was asked why the film had to be so explicit. His reply- “I was making a film about love, not Swiss banks, or Scientology”.

Haha. They just keep digging the hole. The next IAS major donor trip will be to Bangkok, and then to the visitor’s booths at Pelican Bay. . .

    From the NYT Narconon article:
Those who agree with Ms. Rodgers about Maryland’s drug problems nonetheless say that Narconon is not the best solution. “We need more good treatments,” said Dr. Carl Sullivan, the director of addiction programs at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. “We don’t need more fly-by-night, sham treatments that offer hope when they really don’t have anything to back it up.”

    Ha! Take that Narconon.

      Great interview!

It has been a secret belief/desire of mine that the final, lethal blow to Scientology will be delivered by a female. The way things are unfolding, there likely won’t be a single “blow” that will knockout Scientology forever. However, I still hold on to the hope that a woman (a judge perhaps?) will confound the cult and leave it reeling. I have no reasoned argument to back up this belief; it’s just a gut feeling I have in response to Hubbard’s strong dislike of smart, independent women. Life is filled with examples of irony, paradoxes and coincidences such as “the first shall be last and the last shall be first”…or when the thing that one despises or fears the most is often the very thing that re-appears over and over again in one’s life path (the sign of a necessary lesson in personal growth that must be learned, not avoided?). I can already see some of the biggest challenges to Scientology came from or through women: Debbie Cook, Laura DeCrescenzo, Monique Rathbun, Leah Remini, Katie Holmes, Spanky Taylor, Tory Christman, Nazanin Boniadi, the missing Shelly Miscavige, and of course, Paulette Cooper. Persistent, inquisitive, classy, connected, scorned/rejected/abused women. It’s their stories that seem to garner the biggest attention reaction from the public. Putting down the ladies or separating them from their kids/spouses…yep, this will not end well.

I may have to modify my prediction somewhat to include youth since David Miscavige reportedly hates children with the same vigour (hmmm…cult downfall at the hand of a female under 25 years of age?).

      • I so agree with you, madame Duran!
Also: Karen De La Carriere, Amy Scobee, Jenna Miscavige Hill, Astra Woodcraft, Kendra Wiseman, Sindy Fagen, Lori Hodgson, Sara Goldberg, Hana Whitfield and many more.

        • madame duran

Yes, those women too. My omission of their names in the list by no way means I’ve forgotten them or feel that their efforts aren’t significant. I’m sure there are plenty more names to add.

        • Shanester

damn, that there’s called a guitar lick. No Polish white boy should be able to caress such sounds from a dual-neck guitar. Tight, tight tight! You’re spot on with Curtis Mayfield. Like a young Curtis.

          • The Dude

He does not sing like that all the time. The album is strange. Very diverse. But this was the track that stood out to me as a potential Hit.

            • Shanester

Interesting. With a name like “Screaming Headless Torsos” I had no idea what to expect — but I wasn’t expecting an electric-blues-funk whammadoozy. Ima check out their other stuff. Thanks for the tip.

            • The Dude

I think that they need fans. More exposure.

Father, move this chalice away from me (“cálice” sounds the same as “cale-se” which means “be quiet, shut up”)
Father, move this chalice away from me
Father, move this chalice away from me
          Of red wine of blood

How to drink of this bitter beverage
Swallow the pain, swallow the toil
Even silent the night, there’s the chest
Silence in the city is not heard
What’s worth to me to be the son of the saint
It’d be better to be the son of the other
          Other reality less dead
So many lies, so much brute strength

How difficult it is to wake up silent
If in the dead of the night I’m screwed
I want to cast an inhuman scream
Which is a way to be heard
          All this silence baffles me
          Baffled, I remain attentive
In the bleachers to at any moment
See emerge the monster of the lagoon

Very fat, the pig no longer walks
Very used, the knife no longer cuts
How hard it is, father, to open the door
This word trapped in my throat
This homeric inebriation in the world
What good it is to have good will
Even silent the chest, there’s the head
          Of the drunken downtown

          Maybe the world’s not small
Neither is life a consumated fact
I want to invent my own sin
I want to die of my own poison
I want to completely lose your head
          My head lose your judgement
I want to smell the smoke of diesel oil
          Get drunk until someone
          forgets me

          • Todd Tomorrow

Your wife would know this song. He is one of the top musicians globo.

    • Are_sics

Nice find. I’ve been a huge Fuze fan since his first recordings (the first, with John Medeski, “Lunar Crush”, and also Cindy Blackman’s “Trio +2” where he does a hilariously whammied version of Gershwin’s “I Hear a Rhapsody”).

I hate to give any sour notes at all, but… fact is… Screaming Headless Torsos original singer, Dean Bowman, was in another league, and I miss him a lot. There’s a 2-DVD set, two shows, ten years apart, in NYC and Paris, that is the best official “product” (likewise, the live CD was better than the studio stuff). The live CD had a couple of songs with the new singer, but mostly Bowman; the DVDs are all Bowman.

THere’s also an instrumental record which is just “Headless Torsos” (no Screaming, see…)

Meanwhile, anything Fuze does, I’m buying, and this is a great and interesting vid, no question.

      • The Dude

I have seen much of Dean Bowman. I am new to SHT. But I hear you about the old stuff. I need time to look back. Let me enlighten myself. I will check back in a week or two

        • Are_sics

Well… just glancing at youtube… the second disc, from Paris in 2004 (that is, half of the best single SHT release) is there in full. Full set…. with some spectacular variety, and a full band that can keep up with Fuze.

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDAQx2G7r7w

Make sure you get at least the first four songs in to begin to get the range. (The fourth song, “No Survivors”, is a real soul ballad, instant-classic).

The other disc is probably on youtube, too, from 1994. There, they do a pretty killer cover of James Blood Ulmer’s “Jazz is the Teacher, Funk is the Preacher”, among other things.

          • Are_sics

and don’t mean to reply to myself, but… yeah, the NYC set is there, too. This says 1996, and I think one of the two dates is off. Or else i was just wrong and they really were 8 years apart, and not 10.

But this one opens with the Blood Ulmer tune… same line-up. The “classic” one, at least to some of us. (me).

Check this — with the aforementioned Cindy Blackman (Mrs. Carlos Santana, btw) on drums and John Medeski (Medeski, Martin and Wood) on keys. Oh, and it includes the guitar monster Venon Reid (of Living Colour fame) and a little know bass player named Jack Bruce. Together, they recorded one album which paid tribute to drum monster Tony Williams under the band name Spectrum Road. Here’s a clip from their tour with the little know Johnny McLaughlin as guest:

I am sure they will be gone with the wind. Joe Bob covered up and put kid in therapy THEN contacted cops. Hypocracy much? I hate the way they use the girls as galley slaves and nannies for the youngest children.

            • Todd Tomorrow

Yeah, I only watched it after I watched a critical article on it. But the article said the young ones were taking care of by the other children. Her ovaries should be taken out. Child protective services should be hauling the children away like they do to those people who keep 23 breeding cats and 34 dogs being born left and right. You can’t pay attention and properly parent with that many rug rats. Then we have TLC(leaning what) supporting this crap. First they destroyed the octotuplits family. them they found Honey BooBoo in bed with a child molester. All this does is teach us is wait awhile and you’ll see the next reality shows lives destroyed. Even the little people’s family was headed to divorce court! Fuck you Duggars!

The LGBT law they were campaigning against being passed….it past. Fayetteville AR is university town with law school. Law profs came an testified against the law being passed. Laid out reasons it was bad law. It would be different everywhere in AR, but Fayetteville being University city is more progressive.

He opposes evolution, homosexuality, gay marriage, global warming, any sex education other than abstinance, and abortion.

Dobson advocates intelligent design, corporal punishment for children, and tax credits for private scooling.

Dobson founded The Family Research Council to lobby for those causes with Congress.

Sorry to hear that, I’ve too many dead friends myself. I thought I was going to be one. I was riding my horse going real fast and lost my balance and bit it. Luckily someone was with me. Healing isn’t so fast the older you get. Nine months ago my buddy who grew up in a city went to Yellowstone. He left his girlfriend and got lost in the dark. He fell and hit his head and dead at 36. Him and his fiance wanted a getaway before they started getting ready for their wedding. Six years ago I lost two of my best friend’s in three months. I’m not into religion but I think they are up there protecting me. Peace, I was never a “Straight edge”. It was a joke, read it tomorrow. Oh and no crack for me either. Boa noite.

I don’t want to hang out with my old friends.

    • SP Wogsy

Not yet….but now I’m going. Gnite Dodo.

    • TheMirrorThetan

Good. I like quiet when I have just woken up 🙂

      • Fifth Invader Force Androids require no sleep.

        • TheMirrorThetan

          Hah. That explains it, then.

        • Mockingbird

Are they androids ? I always remember they are aborning .

          • Sixth then. My bad.

            • Mockingbird

Ha ! Are you messing with me? A quick review of all of Hubbard’s lectures will tell you the sixth invaders are said to be aborning – still arriving in this universe ! Is this a test to see if I really was a Scientologist ?

Are the sixth invaders androids?I remember a lot but I confess I do not have an eidetic memory. How embarrassing.

            • SP Wogsy

The paranoia is strong in this one … Smh.
The result of too much hazing?
              No response needed or wanted.

No e-meters and course-packs and golden age of re-hash book sets required, just a humble spaghetti pot…I´m in! 🙂

      • Mockingbird

Excuse me , do you remember if the aborning sixth invader force are androids off the top of your head ? I could really use an answer .

        • Mark Foster

No clue…but I hear that the 7th invader force is hiding on Chill EB´s chin…

          • Mockingbird

Oh man…time for the tin foil hat and anti chemtrail countermeasures .Alex Jones and David Icke will have a plan for this…

  • Elizabeth Lavet

Great video, thanks so much for sharing. Excellent addition to the book.

  • Mymy88

I’m in one of those blah moods so I’m going to bed. But I thought it would be nice to post a picture of my two titter tats. Coco and Kiki. They are sisters that lub each udder. G’night 😉

    • ReallyMGM

      Pretty. Pretty! And sweet!

      • Mymy88

Thank you. They are very sweet and immensely demanding spoiled brats. They better be glad they are so cute lol.

    • TheMirrorThetan

Oh how cute. I love the way she has her paw draped over her sister’s back in a cuddle.

      • Mymy88

Kiki is gay (the one with her paw draped). Coco did not appreciate that at all. When they got spayed, it was a huge relief for Coco. lol

Mimi Rogers joins Ash vs. Evil Dead. The first Mrs. Tom Cruise should know a thing or two about zombies…

Good morning Night Owls and Early Birds,
Yesterday’s removals were way below average with Tampa, Sacramento and LA scraping in.
It is very very disheartening! Still No reaction from CL on Boston, NY, LA and Tampa. Use the complaints, it worked a few times, keep on the pressure
Friday is generally our lucky day for complaints, let’s try some more later this afternoon.
There are now 44 “overcoming financial stress” in Boston, surely they are mocking us and CL!

SpamTrack has been updated as at 5am est, the copy/paste for Boston, LA, NY and Tampa have also been updated, please use them and complain.

How TF is anyone supposed to get any sleep around here if y’all keep on chitterin’ and chatterin’?

    🙂

      Great article. Thanks!

Stephen Kent, like Tony, is one of the Great Troopers in this fight.

  • San Fran will be a blast today.

    • noseinabk

Tony has got to be a tiny bit nervous.

  • wutangclam(‘sup)

Great cheers, want me to bring anything?

  • Mymy88

Oh no. You never watched In Living Color? You missed Shanaynay? But that’s cool about the inspired voice.

    • Shanester

Nope. No TV for me from 1981 to 1995. Scientologists don’t allow their children to watch suppressive entertainment media. (Not true of all Scilons apparently, but me and my sister were definitely denied the boob tube.)

      • Mymy88

I’m sorry to hear that, but I’m very glad you are out now. Thank goodness for Youtube. Anybody can find just about any thing that was ever on TV if they want. I love that and I love YouTube.

    Ahhhhhhhhhh yeeeaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Tony and Paulette for a wonderful evening last night in New York! The room was packed full and the energy was infectious. I and I am sure all of us could have sat there all night listening to you two talk. I’m grateful I got one of the last books on the table, now I have my Kindle version and my signed hard copy. Keep up speaking out!!
