[Anton gets Super Power]Thanks to Rasha, we have the latest copy of Source magazine, which the Church of Scientology puts out to advertise the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida to its members. In general, this issue is a lot of rah-rah repetition of the stuff you’ve heard a million times before. But one article really stood out from the rest and we thought you’d like to see it. Continue reading Scientology wants you to bring your kids to its creepy ‘mecca’ in Florida — it’s an adventure!
[Lucas Catton]In 2013, Lucas Catton self-published ‘Have You Told All,’ a remarkable book about his experience as the president of Scientology’s flagship drug rehab center, Narconon Arrowhead. He also appeared in an episode of the former investigative news program Rock Center, and he showed up here at the Bunker in several stories. Continue reading Never forget: Scientology calls exes liars, but spells out its own abuses in documents
[Tonight, ‘Aftermath’ gives Gabe his due.]Scientology’s very sketchy history in the Florida city of Clearwater gets a nice going over in tonight’s episode of Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. [Mr. Ed’s knockin’] As much as Scientology wants the public to think of it as a totally not weird self-help group that offers things like improved communication and business acumen, the reality is much stranger and, frankly, a lot more interesting. Continue reading Scientology sells miracles, and we can’t get enough of them
[Founding members Geraldine Malloy, Thomas Malloy, Joey Gatton, Ryan Reese and Amber Reese]Rod Keller discovers that Scientology is launching yet another front group, and this one is really infuriating… Continue reading Scientology uses celebrities and police as props — military veterans, it’s your turn!
[Bree Mood]Chris Shelton has a remarkable story about an escape from the Sea Org for us today, and disturbing new evidence that Scientology has not given up its policy of forcing women to have abortions, even nearly a decade after that policy was exposed by the Tampa Bay Times… Continue reading New Sea Org escapee says that Scientology still forcing abortions, decade after practice exposed
