Three years ago we decided that on Christmas Day it would be a good time to review what we knew about the disappearance of Shelly Miscavige, wife to Scientology’s leader David Miscavige, who vanished from Scientology’s Gold Base in summer 2005. We wondered if Shelly, kept hidden in a remote mountain compound, even knew it was Christmas. For the fourth Christmas in a row, we’re posting that story, since it still represents what we know about Shelly’s whereabouts. Continue reading Does Shelly Miscavige know it’s Christmas 2021?
[Peyroux, left, and Detelich]In March 2020, about a week before the pandemic hit us here in the US, we wrote a story about how a Colorado physician named Chris Centeno was exposing fly-by-night operations selling bogus cures based on what sounded like legitimate, emerging medical technologies. But even if stem cells and other emerging trends in medicine held great promise, what these scammers were doing was just downright fraudulent, and the government wasn’t keeping up with it, Centeno argued. Continue reading Feds suing ‘stem cell’ scammers for preying on the elderly. Oh, and they’re Scientologists.

Our insider is back with another message for us. This time they’re giving us a behind-the-scenes look at David Miscavige’s ‘Ideal Org’ program, which began around 2003, and only came to a halt in 2020 because of the pandemic. Some of this we had learned through other sources: Paul Burkhart exposed the financial scams underwriting the Ideal Orgs when he appeared on Leah Remini’s series, and Rod Keller pointed out that the first year after an Ideal Org opens it tends to win the Birthday Game. And now, it’s great to have this confirmation from a source still inside the church. Continue reading INSIDER: How Scientology’s ‘Ideal Org’ scam works, and how members are victimized by it

Our insider sent over another communication, this time to help explain the rise and fall of the “Chase Wave” racket in Scientology that we’ve been describing here thanks to a previous source who leaked us a document. In that document, Scientology registrars (“reg” or “regges” for short) were encouraged to lie to Chase Bank in order to open up massive zero-interest accounts for Scientologists and burden them with debt. This led to a backlash and the ending of the practice just a couple of years ago. Here’s the insider with more. Continue reading INSIDER: How the ‘Chase Wave’ began, and how it crashed, leaving Scientology in chaos

For several days we have been communicating with a new source who claims to have devastating inside information about the current state of the Church of Scientology. Continue reading INSIDER: Scientology has been devastated by the pandemic and is coming apart at the seams

I feel so lucky to have been born into this group. I recently signed my contract, pledging my undying loyalty to this higher cause. I signed this contract without compunction. It’s my duty, my responsibility. It’s a billion year contract. A billion years. I can’t even comprehend orders of magnitudes like this. It’s just a 1 with a whole lot of zeros behind it. It doesn’t matter though. I am a dedicated member and I’ve had so many lifetimes to play around and have many adventures. Now things get serious. Now we have the answers. We are on a prison planet. But we finally have the technology to get us out of this trap. Continue reading Growing up in Scientology’s Sea Org, and encountering David Miscavige: A look back
