Giving birth (shhhh, silently!) in Scientology: What is that really like?

One of the accepted beliefs in Scientology is that founder L. Ron Hubbard knew everything about everything, no exceptions. Honestly, I’m not sure why that was accepted. I don’t call my orthopedic surgeon’s office or my attorney’s office and ask questions about why my eye hurts, I don’t call my attorney to ask him what to do if my foot hurts, I don’t call the water department to fix my TV or furnace nor do I call Dell to fix my iPhone.

Scientology’s Sea Org: Almost no pay and no sleep, but plenty of swearing and smoking!

Why do Sea Org members smoke and swear so much? I think the first time I remember hearing a swear word was when I was around four. By the age of five, I was swearing like a sailor. By 15 I was in the adult RPF, smoking nearly a pack a day of cigarettes.

Ribbon watch: Will Austin outsprint Paris for Scientology ‘Ideal’ glory?

It’s like Kremlinology over here as we attempt to read the tea leaves and figure out where Scientology leader David Miscavige is going to have his next “Ideal Org” grand opening and make another of his very rare public appearances.

Mark Bunker makes the case for why Clearwater needs him to keep fighting Scientology

I was reading your Whole Track flashback article from 7 years ago in which Rod Keller gives an alarming look at the future of downtown Clearwater in 2017 as the city launched its efforts to revitalize the area with Imagine Clearwater. Things sure looked bleak and we still have enormous challenges ahead as Miscavige plots and schemes while ducking process servers at every corner but we are fighting back and I thought it might be a good time to look at our progress.

[David Miscavige and Judge Randolph Hammock]

See the update below.

Just last week, in Jane Doe 1’s lawsuit against Scientology, Judge Robert Broadbelt granted David Miscavige’s motion to quash his summons, telling Jane Doe that she’s going to have to try even harder to find the elusive Scientology leader before he is considered served and an official defendant in her case.

[David Miscavige and Danny Masterson]

This week Scientology is attempting to deal a blow to the Bixler v. Scientology lawsuit, which is the one filed by Danny Masterson’s victims in 2019. They have fought back against Scientology’s attack by posting more details of the harassment they’ve been going through since they came forward to the LAPD in 2016. They’re suing Scientology, its leader David Miscavige, and Danny Masterson for being behind years of harassment of these women.
