We’re going to start lobbying Dianne Lipson to be in the courtroom for us as Nxivm leader Keith Raniere is sentenced in Brooklyn on January 17.
Judge Nicholas Garaufis issued that order today, and we’ll see if this time that date stays firm or moves again.
Based on the number of charges Raniere was convicted of, and their severity, he could be looking at decades behind bars. Or will he get the sort of sweet treatment that Judge Garaufis promised for Keith’s co-defendant, Clare Bronfman, who may spend less than two years in prison? She’ll be sentenced on January 8.
