The Underground Bunker is pleased to announce the birth of Grayson Pierce Headley, who entered the world at 10:50 this morning at 8 pounds, 15.9 ounces.
This makes three boys for Marc and Claire Headley, who were finally able to start a family after they left Scientology’s Sea Org in 2005.
Marc assures us it was not a silent birth.
Says Claire: “I’d like to see L. Ron Hubbard give birth silently.”
Says the BBC’s John Sweeney: “I, for one, shall wet the baby’s head.” (An idiom we were unfamiliar with, which refers to raising a glass in honor of the new child. Hey, John, we’ll down a beer in honor of Grayson here as well!)

As he says in our comments, “You’re allowed to wet the head a number of ways: I chose not beer but gin and tonic. Grayson struck me as a classy drinker. If I’m wrong, I’ll wet his head with beer tomorrow night.”
