Amber Scorah talks to Lloyd Evans about her ex-JW testament, ‘Leaving the Witness’

[Amber Scorah]

Lloyd Evans talks to Amber Scorah, whose book about leaving JW, “Leaving the Witness,” is getting major media treatment. Not only is she with a major publisher, but she’s getting interviews at places like The Daily Show and NPR. Nevertheless, it’s still good to see her talk with someone who deals with this subject day in and day out like Lloyd.

Says Lloyd: “In 2005, Amber Scorah arrived in Shanghai determined to spread the good news of Jehovah’s Witnesses in a country where the religion is banned. Little could she have known that her unique experience of moving to China and being immersed in a strange new culture would cause her faith to unravel. As Amber’s brilliant memoir goes on sale, I learn more about her incredible story.”
