OK, so you’ve hunted down one of the most targeted species on earth and ended its life with some high-velocity projectiles from a safe distance. You have your trophy, and maybe you get an erection from it or something.
But what’s with the flag? You’re in Africa somewhere, you’re on foreign soil, killing a local animal, and only through the graces of a local government desperate for your rich-ass money. What’s going through your mind — are you claiming the animal in the name of the rest of us back here in the US of A? For what reason?
Do these yahoos not realize that it’s primarily Americans who are driving the trophy hunting industry in Africa, and killing at a prodigious rate not seen in previous decades? Do they not know that by proclaiming “this here rhino was destroyed by Americans,” it only makes them part of the majority of big game killers?
We couldn’t find any identifying information about these American patriots, but you’d think if they were claiming this kill on behalf of the rest of us, they’d be proud to have their names attached to it, right?
Can someone help us give these brave hunters the notoriety they deserve?
