Says our Celebrity Centre source: “Bijou’s connection with Scientology started when she met Danny Masterson in 2004. She visited the Freewinds with Danny shortly after they met and really started to embrace Hubbard’s philosophy. They were married in 2011 and by that time she was a full fledged member of the church. She has also appeared at Celebrity Centre with her husband at Christmas Story fund raisers. Although she has some good reviews for a few of her movie roles, her career has taken a back seat to her marriage and Scientology. Bijou was born with an undersized kidney condition. Unfortunately Scientology did nothing to improve her condition as promised in Dianetics and in 2017 due to a blood infection (a PTS condition) she received a kidney transplant. She seemed like a very sweet person when I met her. She deserves a better life than what Scientology has given her.”
