Paul Seymour is one of Scientology’s leading donors. We haven’t seen him receive a new trophy for donations to the IAS since 2016 when he earned reached the level of Patrons Meritorious for donations of over $250,000. He has since moved up to Silver Meritorious at the $500,000 level. It’s a lesson for whale watchers that just because a donor doesn’t have new hardware to show off every year they haven’t necessarily left Scientology.

Why do Scientology’s whales donate so much money? We have video of Seymour himself from an IAS fundraiser to explain his passion to you.

Seymour’s latest cause is the distribution of the Stay Well series of booklets that explain precautions to take during the coronavirus pandemic. As Seymour explains, Scientology always has a new cause requiring immediate donations. The pandemic has been very good for Scientology fundraising efforts. Creating ‘Ideal Orgs’ still brings in a lot of money, but on top of that they are presenting themselves to the membership as the only force providing help during this crisis.

I want in on this party a little bit. First of all, Jeremy, it’s awesome to see you. It’s been a while. It’s been a while seeing all our friends. So everybody out there we haven’t seen here or there it is really great to feel you and to actually be in your space right now. You know it’s interesting because we talked about the physical space, the physical distance that goes on. We all know the dispersal, the distancing, the out of communication that’s kind of going on. Yet on the one hand there’s less ARC in terms of physical space than we’ve all had and it’s really frustrating and it’s like we’re all trying to kind of work through that a little bit.

But the irony is the reality. If you think about the reality right now on the planet. It’s probably the most universal shared reality that’s probably been around literally that I can remember. Where everybody is looking for help, they’re looking for stability for sure, and they’re looking for competence. They’re looking for competence with what is happening with this situation and that’s where we come in. That’s where we’re doing what we’re doing and a little bit behind the scenes right now.

Kind of like a good thetan we’re kind of behind the planet a little bit and we’re in a room like this. They may certainly not know we’re here but we’re doing a great job for everybody. And so if you get down and think wow we’re a little dispersed remember the R is as high as it’s ever been planet-wide. Don’t doubt that at all. And what we need to do is just continue to put some C in there. Just to put a little more communication out there. The Stay Well packages, The Way to Happiness. Whether that be Criminon — all of the IAS campaigns, all the things we’re doing is the communication and both of them start rising, the planet will start to kind of come out of this thing. And so I just wanted to kind of share that. We’re doing it — we’re doing it big time and it’s working. I see it all of the time in my job, and I deal with thousands of people in my job.

I got thinking about something else. Jeremy, you and I have certainly said this before — the time is now. How many times have we said the time is now? And you know what? Each time it was actually true, it was very true. Whether it be handling the Germany situation at one point, or Ideal Orgs, like let’s get this going let’s get it open right now. The time really is now. There’s less veneer now than there’s ever been. People know something has to be done, they want us to be moving through this situation.

I just say as you look at the IAS, as you look at tonight, as we’re all playing these games, to take that viewpoint on this thing. To take the viewpoint of like we have to do this right now. We have to flood the world with communication. With theta and with, frankly, competent theta. Theta that not only goes in as theta but brings in a level of competence that only led by LRH and COB and all of us there’s a level of theta that goes in that says wow, this is really a solution, this is really helping.

You know having spent time with many folks in Denver as many of you did handing out thousands and thousands of Stay Well booklets, right? That was a gift that was an absolute gift to get out and do that and to go to businesses, to go to people – people on the street were asking for it even though we were pursuing businesses. But to go do that, to actually bring that to people actually pierced the veil like it broke through something that was a little funk they were in, that somebody was actually communicating that somebody was actually bringing something that was an answer to this.

And having seen that I personally doubled down that’s it — we have got to keep on doing this. Because it can feel now with the dispersal — are we really getting there? It’s totally making a difference. And things are moving in the right direction. We know more about intention and we know more about communication probably than anybody. And right now it’s going to take our intention — physically there or not physically there — and our energy and our support of the IAS. We can do this thing to actually bring that intention that says we’re blowing through this thing and there is no looking back. I just wanted to share these words as a Silver Patron.

Despite the thousands of Stay Well booklets distributed, the U.S. is still recording more than 50,000 new cases of coronavirus each day. Globally there are over 250,000 new cases per day. Scientology is obsessed with statistics, and the stats are continuing to get worse as the pandemic is exploding in India and South America, despite the leadership of LRH and COB.

If you haven’t been paying attention to the news in the U.S. you might not be aware of the clashes between Black Lives Matter protesters and police in Portland, Oregon. It’s been a sometimes bloody street fight with protesters hurling rocks, eggs, and paint, while police attempt to take back control wearing riot gear and firing tear gas. The Scientology org is about eight blocks from the epicenter of the violence at the U.S. Courthouse. It’s close enough to smell the smoke from street fires and to feel the burning in the throat that tear gas can bring.

Scientologist and Patron Meritorious Adi Klevit described her experience driving though the area, which has strengthened her resolve to donate more money to Scientology. It’s an article of faith among members that only Scientology can address the problems of war, crime, and civil unrest. The mechanism by which such a small number of Scientologists can resolve civil unrest is never explained, but it’s certainly expensive. A crisis such as this can be a big boost for fundraising as Scientologists feel restoring peace and calm can only be achieved through their donations. This video came to us from a recent web-based fundraiser for the International Association of Scientologists, which raised millions of dollars for the organization.

I just want to tell you what we’re going to do but first of all I’m going to tell you why, right? So my husband Ben is the PS (Public Secretary) of the Portland org works with Jeremy and he’s been on staff for 28 years. I’m OT 8, and OT Ambassador. And we recently did our Patron Meritorious [$250,000 in donations] in the middle of this whole insanity when it totally didn’t make any sense whatsoever and since then we’ve been making more contributions because it is so needed. I want to tell you a story. About a week ago my son who is also on staff almost five years at the Portland org. He’s a reg there. I live in [?] which is about 10 minutes from downtown Portland but it’s a very nice suburb — social veneers, super sick, you wouldn’t even think that anything would happen.

I don’t go downtown anymore. I work from home. I can work from home for my business. And a week ago I had to go somewhere so my son said “let’s drive through downtown” and I said “I don’t want to drive through downtown Portland.” And he goes “no, Mom, I want to show you what my life has been for the last 80 days. Just confront it, don’t resist it, just confront it.” OK, I can take that advice. Don’t you just love it when your kids put your ethics in and tell you like OK. I can go do that.

So he drives me on Third Avenue and the org is on Third Avenue then there’s the north part and there is the south part. Basically three blocks before, three blocks after and I said I’m not going to resist, I’m just going to look. And I looked, and I haven’t been in downtown since March, since the shutdown, right? I just confronted it and I looked and I’m not going to share with you what I saw. So for all of you that live in downtown Portland I definitely suggest that you do that drill. And if you ever want to get a lot of mass on the data that you learn in the PTS/SP course you can just see it right there.

But you know what my cognition was? Just as I was driving almost to the org on the north part and next to your favorite coffee shop, Jackson, there in Stumptown. My cognition was that my responsibility is to continue to support the IAS and continue to donate to the IAS because that is the only solution. This is the fourth dynamic — we are the IAS and I have total certainty that COB has the correct strategy, the correct plan and we completely have to back him up with the energy and flowing energy in that direction.

And it was definitely confront of evil, and that’s what we did. That’s what we need to continue doing — to continue to flow power to the power that we depend on. You know, we’re all on extension courses, we’re doing our Golden Age of Knowledge, this is the data from LRH, this is what we’re applying and Ben and I realized we can just continue to create, and it’s exactly what Jeremy said. It might not be comfortable, but if we have to change that operating basis, we’re going to do that. That’s why we definitely pledge to our next status and we’re working on it and we’re making flows towards it…Tonight what we’re going to do is each of us, Ben, Daniel and myself is going to do $8,008 so a total of $24,024.

The donation amount is a nod to the book Scientology 8-8008 by L. Ron Hubbard. The number represents the apparent reduction of the physical universe from infinity (the number 8 turned sideways) to 0 and the increase of one’s own apparent universe from 0 to infinity.

Meet one of Scientology’s long time allies in their war against psychiatry, Lisa Cain, who talks with the church’s anti-psych front group, Citizens Commission on Human Rights, in a new leaked video.

Internet outages caused our source to lose part of this CCHR briefing with staff members Eitan Celender, Fred Shaw, and Cain, a Professor of Psychology in the Los Angeles Community College District, but we have most of it. We’re accustomed to CCHR’s allegations of abuse by mental health professionals but the involvement of Cain is something we haven’t seen before.

She’s been associated with Scientology and CCHR since at least 2012. Cain recounts how she visited CCHR’s Psychiatry: An Industry of Death Museum in Los Angeles after seeing an advertisement in a college newspaper. Her beliefs about the state of the mental health profession are very much in line with Scientology. She denies the validity of the biomedical model of mental illness in which some conditions can be treated with prescription drugs.

I began to teach from the perspective of researching and looking at what the research was funded, most of it from big pharma. And then looking for other people that were able to really see the perspective for what it was. When you see a person who has symptoms that create things like hallucinations and delusions and to within 10 or 15 minutes to put them on an unfounded or unproven medication and tell them they have a chemical imbalance – that’s criminal. And I didn’t want to be a part of that.

So I started trying to figure out what could I do and the thing that I felt was really beneficial was teach students that there are other ways to look at things even though it’s not mentioned in the textbook. So that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 15 years. And I have found that it’s really starting to pick up momentum and people are starting to recognize that this doesn’t work. Because people take the drugs and they don’t get better. The ones that survive they don’t get better.

Cain also describes how her students are assigned to write a paper on the CCHR museum, many times bringing their family members with them.

Scientology considers psychiatry to be the most evil force in the universe, and founder L. Ron Hubbard claimed that mental implants keeping people from reaching their full potential were put in place by psychiatrists trillions of years ago. At an annual event, church leader David Miscavige once said that Scientology was seeking to “booby-trap” the psychiatric profession, and showed images of bombs going off.

We have a leaked webinar from Scientology’s Belleair Mission on being a Field Staff Member, or FSM. The mission is not actually in Belleair, Florida but rather the city of Largo and only about four miles from the Flag Land Base in Clearwater.

Field Staff Members are supposed to help Scientology bring in new people, but how do you do that these days when there’s so much negative information about Scientology handily available?

Long time Scientologist John Cowden begins the webinar by reading the purpose of an FSM from L. Ron Hubbard’s policy (HCO PL 9 May 65, Field Auditors Become Staff). “The purpose of a Field Staff Member is to help LRH contact, handle, salvage and bring to understanding the individual and thus the peoples of earth.”

 
FSMs receive a commission on the services their new Scientologist buys. Ten percent for processing, 15 percent for training. Cowden describes how to make new Scientologists by finding their “ruin,” a Scientology word that means identifying a problem in somebody’s life that can make them vulnerable to recruitment. Cowden describes his targets and methods.

Somebody who realizes we’re not just another self help-group. We’re the way out. And they get to this point by certain sub-products that we achieve with them, and it starts with the ruin. We find an individual’s ruin because we’re really good at it. We can do it comfortably. We have a lot of ARC and they like the fact that we have a lot of ARC for them so they open up and tell us all about their ruin because we’ve got TRs. Nobody else does, nobody else really knows the ARC Triangle like us. So the very first sub-product is the contact point where we find the real ruin for the person. We don’t explain Scientology. We don’t overwhelm them. We don’t tell them all about it and show them a whole bunch of stuff because they’re really not interested. They’re actually interested in themselves.

There’s no pretense here about Scientologists making voluntary donations. FSMs are about selling.

The person’s already sold when they come in. The FSM’s already done the step to sell them the course. And here’s where LRH says that. “A selectee goes at once to the Registrar — buys his service right then. We don’t hold him up. No interview, they’ve been interviewed. Don’t let anybody in any way close the door or slow the entrance. Open it up.” That’s what the org is for. Open it up.

 
Next up is Carlo Di Lorenzo, a staff member at the Kansas City Ideal Org. He provides a quote from LRH that every Scientologist should bring one person into the org every month. Assuming they all become Scientologists and in turn bring in one new person per month, Carlo has calculated that 50 FMSs could make over 200,000 new Scientologists in a year. This is a number that Scientology has never reached in its history, and we confidently predict will never achieve in its future. Di Lorenzo then runs a drill with webinar participants to contact a person in their phone contact list to contact and bring them into the org to begin services.

Tom Cummins is one of Scientology’s top donors, having given at least $32.5 million just to the IAS, the church’s defense fund. He’s also given millions more to the various “Ideal Org” projects that replace older churches with new ones, even though there’s no evidence that Scientology is growing.

On Thursday, the Underground Bunker carried the recap of the recent Eastern US Ideal Org fundraiser, and now we have the video. Cummins was the star, and in a 25-minute monologue laced with profanities he provided his analysis of the world situation and an incentive for Scientologists to donate.

But first we have a musical performance by Jierra Clark. Clark is an aspiring singer/songwriter who lip-synched her cover version of the song “This is Me” from the 2019 movie The Greatest Showman.

 
Next up was hostess Sara Baxter who described how she overcame her reluctance to participate in the Ideal Org program and helped open the San Francisco Ideal Org, which she says was the first one funded entirely from local publics. She has since moved to Flag, and is a leader of the Flag Alliance. She has reached the “Humanitarian” level of donations for dozens of Ideal Orgs.

 
But the star of the show was Tom Cummins, President and CEO of American Power and Gas, currently on vacation in Italy. He is tall, loud, and very angry about efforts to control the spread of the Coronavirus.

What do you call it when they take seven billion people and put them on pause. I don’t know what you think about it. I don’t want to offend too many people but I think it’s the biggest crock of shit. You know that they did what they did. This is the SPs move, guys. I mean yeah, there’s a virus, I’m not going to deny that. But what happens is what happens now is there’s premeditated murder of economy. There’s an element of trying to control a civilization, a group of people. I’m not freaked out that people would do something like that. That’s what SPs do, right? It’s what they got away with. How all the media, I mean all. I think Sweden told them to go piss off, the people in Bulgaria, I heard, I have some of these countries wrong. The guy said piss off. Japan said yeah, we’re not going to play. But the other 98 percent of the population said yeah we’re in, we’re going to let you lead us around with the ear here. That’s the part I said oh my God, ‘cause I told them to piss off. I mean I ran towards the fire. When Italy was the reddest of all red zones I go, I’m not PTS. This is not going to affect me. I’m going to be fine. No doubt about it I’m going to be fine. And I’m fine.

The problem we have is not enough sane, rational people who can evaluate data without being reactive. Yeah we need to take care of our health, yeah we need to do all this stuff. That’s part of being rational, right? But to shut down a world? That’s suppression. And the problem is, assuming you agree with me, is that there’s not enough of us. This so-called silent majority I hear about in the United States, how about shout the fuck out and stop being silent. Get out there and communicate.

After airing his political views Tom offered to match any donations pledged during the fundraiser that were paid by the end of the Scientology week — Thursday at 2:00.

I’ll do half if you do half. You want to become a New Civilization Builder, and you need to pay $500,000. You pay 250 and I’ll give you 250. You know you want to come down on some of these other statuses below. I don’t know their names any more. It’s like whatever the fuck they are you want to go up there you go half and here’s the point. And I’ll tell you something I will fly all the way from Italy to wherever the fuck you are in the world and I will kick your ass if you go and hang on the money because you go oh, Tom’s going to pay for half. No, what you do is you double the fucking status you thought you were going to go for, all right? You don’t become a dick and go oh, well, I was going to do 20 grand, but now that he’s going to do this I’m only going to pay 10. How about this for an answer: Fuck you. Go ahead and go for the double status. Come on, man. You’re going to pay this money fucking eventually. You know you’re going to get regged up to these other status. I’m giving you a fucking buy now, man. So take advantage of it, make sure you use it and take it to the max. And let’s keep this uptone and let’s go give the SPs of the world who are out there probably in their glory and tell them to go kiss our ass. And let’s take this place back, get these orgs open and feel fucking proud about it, and let C.O.B. know we have his back.

 
Sometimes one hears stories from inside Scientology about how intense the demands for money can be. These are certainly true, but the enthusiasm with which these members pledged money serves to demonstrate how intensely Scientologists believe in their movement and the importance of establishing Ideal Orgs across the planet. Scientology is a prison of belief, and those beliefs are strong and expensive

We have another leaked video from inside Scientology, this time from the Melbourne org. Australian musician and Scientology Volunteer Minister Rob Meister broadcast a lecture on past lives, a major aspect of Scientology’s teachings. (We previously heard from Meister when he was stranded on the Freewinds during its measles quarantine.)

L. Ron Hubbard’s 1958 book “Have You Lived Before This Life?” is the inspiration of the talk and Meister reads part of the introduction. The book is no longer for sale in Scientology bookstores, possibly because the contents are quite gruesome and violent, a fact not mentioned in the video.

 
In 1958 Hubbard was operating out of the Fitzroy Street org and created the 5th London Advanced Clinical Course. Stories of past lives were collected by auditors during this course and published. The planned sequel, “Where Are You Buried?” never materialized. The stories read like disjointed nightmares, full of beheadings, explosions, torture and infidelity. In 1999 I wrote a summary of each case from an early copy I owned that had the names of the PCs that contributed their past life memories. Later editions removed the names.

The idea was to prove that past lives recalled during auditing are real. Hubbard wrote “Seventy conservative, well-trained Scientologists, the most effective practitioners on today’s world mental improvement have gone through these experiences. Seventy sane people have some evidence that they have lived before.” In 1999 my conclusion was that given enough auditing, a person will invent memories to please their leader. Here is a summary of each case.

Case #1 Jesse Gray
Time: 651 years ago
The brother of the king didn’t like him very much. He was tricked into challenging the king to a duel, but another man was switched in at the last minute. The duel ended when the brother was stabbed with a sword in the elbow. He was sentenced to exile, but was kidnapped and tortured to death with thumb screws, whippings and the rack.

Case #2 C. Sweetland
Time: 1874 A.D.
A chinese boy steals silk scarves, and his secret girlfriend is executed for the crime. Years later he is a beggar and is rounded up with dozens of others in a search for some bandits. They are all beheaded.

Case #3 Peter A. Davies
Time: 56 B.C.
A roman soldier in Greece is poisoned by his mistress. He hallucinates that his wife and friends have all been murdered and in his delirium he commits suicide.

Case #4 Ray Kemp
Time: Nine Galaxy Periods ago
A man has three mothers who are killed. Later he kills his father. He finds his wife in bed with another officer on his spaceship and kills both of them, then kills their baby. He attempts a mutiny and is killed by his gay space ship crew.

Case #5 Anonymous
Time: 89 trillion years ago
A robot works in a factory in space which has gold animals hanging around it. It grinds up discs to make small animals for shipment to other planets. A planet blows up and the robot is to blame. He is drugged and forced to work the grinder.

Case #6 A.J. Cromie
Time: 1,600 years ago
An engineer works in a power plant which beams energy to food machines. The machine breaks and the engineer is blamed. He is sent to a space station which breaks apart because it doesn’t get enough energy.

Case #7 Anonymous
A statesman in England is being pressured to kill a humane law. His daughter is killed and her body thrown into his house as a warning. He hangs himself in the woods out of grief.

Case #8 Don Hardy and Eileen Hibberson
Time: 3,225 years ago
The commander of a large portion of the Roman Empire is in North Africa on a trip to see why one of a series of message relaying baskets had gone down. A cave was nearby and three men who went in the cave never came out. A nearby village was deserted. He inhaled some white powder that was near the cave and his body burned to a crisp.

Case #9 Cornelia Alford
A cat-person was given to a woman to take away on her spaceship as a pet. She died from a drug overdose and the cat-person was thrown off the ship. Later, a meteorite crashed into a dome on a planet without an atmosphere and everybody was sucked away into space.

Case #10 Anonymous
Time: 55,000,000,000,000,000,000 years ago
A man had to do outside repairs on a spaceship. He got radiation burns and fell off, plunging into an ocean on the planet below. A manta ray kills him and he in turn inhabits the manta ray.

Case #11 Eve Harrison
Time: 6,254 years ago
A Babylonian carpenter has a wife and three children. He takes a mistress who then threatens to expose him to his wife if he doesn’t pay her some money. The carpenter agrees to steal some documents to raise money and kills a courier. The people who wanted the documents refuse to pay him. His mistress informs on him and he is captured for the murder. His wife and children are killed before he is put on a rack, his eyes are burned out, and he is killed.

Case #12 James Momsen
Time: 1804 A.D.
The French aristocrat parents of a boy die and his uncle sends him off to the navy as a cabin boy. His chest is crushed and he is killed when he trips and falls behind a cannon just as it is firing.

Case #13 Anonymous
Time: 469,476,600 years ago.
A free thetan on Mars was causing trouble, destroying buildings and a bridge. He tries to inhabit a doll but he is captured and beaten up. The doll is zapped with a ray guy and run over by a car and a steamroller. He is frozen in an ice cube and dropped on Planet ZX 432 where he takes another robot body. He zaps and kills another robot. He takes off in a flying saucer and dies when it explodes.

Case #14 Leon Bosworth
A web footed woman is shot with a ray gun by a green humanoid with an elephant’s trunk.

Case #15 Jenny Parkhouse
Time: 1,015,550 years ago
A man killed a girl and tried to forget it happened by landing in a theta trap which jumbled his memory. Then he went into a robot body which burned out.

Case #16 Pamela Kemp
Time: 500 B.C.
The son of a ruler goes to visit his secret mistress and their son. When he returned he killed the brother of his mistress. Then a volcano erupted and the man was killed by a big boulder. The volcano then killed everybody in the town.

Case #17 Anonymous
Time: 17th or 18th century A.D.
A doctor lives in Somalia. His brother and mother murder somebody. The doctor goes to the hospital to deliver his own child. His baby is stillborn. He accidentally sniffs some ether, then falls over and stabs his wife, killing her. He is framed for the murder his brother and mother committed. Later, he marries again but goes mad, raping and killing his new wife. Then he kills a pet lion being kept nearby as well as the owner of the lion. He gets sick and is killed by a larger lion.

Case #18 Anonymous
Time: 1672 A.D.
A spirit without a body was tormenting a man and his pregnant wife. It forced them to have sex so many times that the woman and her unborn child were injured. When the baby girl was born the spirit inhabited the baby’s body. When she grew up she became afraid of having children of her own and intentionally killed herself by recklessly riding a horse. She was riding side-saddle during a fox hunt and jumped a rocky gully. She fell off and was killed.

Case #19 Adrian Potts
Time: 1500 A.D.
The son of a Tibetan politician is sent on an important mission to Nepal. Opponents of the mission send three riders out with spears to stop him. Trying to evade them, his horse trips and breaks a leg. He pushes the horse off a cliff then hides in the rocks and dies from the extreme cold.

Case #20 Madge Stevens
Time: 1603 A.D.
The daughter of a wealthy merchant is taken to a house where she is held captive. She is asked questions about a document in her father’s handwriting and is beaten when she says she doesn’t know anything about it. Her clothes are ripped off and a knife is used to cut her genitalia. She dies from the wound.

Case #21 George Edwards
Time: 750 B.C.
The son of a middle-eastern general has a knife fight and is wounded in the neck. He recovers, but a growth forms over the wound. A foreign visitor offers his surgeon to remove the growth. The surgeon hypnotizes the man and implants the suggestion that he should steal and deliver military secrets. The growth is then removed. When he returns home he realizes that he’s been hypnotized and plans the arrest of the foreign visitor and the surgeon. He kills the visitor in a knife fight then recruits some soldiers, arrests and executes the surgeon.

Case #22 Edward Fuller
Time: 1666 A.D.
A boy and his brother live in London and are raised by their grandmother who beats them. Later, he returns from a trip to find his lover has fallen in love with his brother and they are married. He kills his brother with a sword and that night is killed while sleeping with his former lover.

Time: 1746 A.D.

An aristocratic man is in love with a woman of an opposite political group. He goes on a secret mission to get a document. On the way back he is thrown from his horse and borrows another horse. The uncle of his lover realizes his political beliefs and the man kills the uncle in a duel. He rides away and is pursued by two brothers from her family. His horse fails to clear a fence and he is injured badly in the fall. The two brothers torture him to death with hot irons.

Case #24 James Dimmock
Time: 54 A.D.
A boy is sent on a long journey to Greece. He is attacked by thieves and almost dies. When he recovers he goes to a castle and tries to find a secret entrance. He is captured by some monks who either torture him or kill him in surgery.

Case #25 Anonymous
A person is tortured to death in a medieval iron maiden which can deliver electric shocks.

Case #26 Nadine Moeran
Time: 1903 A.D.
A housekeeper wants a young girl out of the way. She is drugged with a liquid that is supposed to be medicine. Then the girl is stabbed in the heart with a kitchen knife.

Case #27 Chris Mostart
Time: 11th Century A.D.
A Norwegian mother tries to abort her baby. The boy lives but is blinded in the right eye. After seven years have passed he has a fight with his father who pushes him off a cliff while his mother watches. He lives and goes on a ship where he gets drunk and goes crazy. The crew blinds him in the other eye with a hot instrument, and dump him overboard. He is swallowed by a whale where he dies.

Case #28 Lance Harrison
Time: 5,100 years ago

An Egyptian member of the royal household joins the priesthood. The initiation ceremony involves drugs, hypnosis, and inserting a gem in his forehead. The gem gives him mental powers over others. Later, he is mauled by a lion he is hunting and his spirit is taken out of his body and placed in a bottle. He stays there for 4,800 years until the bottle explodes and he is released.

Case #29 Clarence Killip
Time: 856 A.D.
A person was taken to a stone post and a blacksmith put his eyes out with a hot iron. He left his body then the body ran down to a lake and washed the eye sockets.

Case #30 Jessie Gray
Time: 3 A.D.
A Roman soldier returns from a border patrol to find that his wife is living with another man. He spears the man, strangles his wife, and stabs a servant with a sword. He is caught by some passing soldiers and is tried for the murders. He is sentenced to death and is fed to a lion who tears his head off.

Case #31 Herbert Parkhouse
Time: 1800 A.D.
A stagecoach driver is having an affair with the landlady of an inn. He tries to steal money from her and kills the landlady with a candlestick when she catches him in the act. Later, somebody is holding money from a bank robbery he performed. The man refuses to give the money. Angrily, he takes his horse and carriage to the barn where he finds a young boy having sex with his daughter. He accidentally kills the girl by throwing a pitchfork at her. He then blames the boy who is hanged with a chain. His wife then kills him by shooting him in the back.

Case #32 Mike Furse
Time: 1703 A.D.
The son of a military leader in England was carrying an important message. He is grabbed from behind by a group of men who want the message he was trying to take to his father. He is put on a rack and tortured. He refuses to give up the message.

Time: Long time ago
A boy is hit with a belt buckle for using some purple hair dye that is reserved for court functions. Later, he stabs his step-father to death. Later, when his mother dresses up for an event at which she hopes to meet a new rich man he beats her to death in a crazed haze. He is sentenced to electroshock therapy and eventually joins the space corps. His wife sleeps with another man and he kills her. He remarries a woman who likes to tease him and he kills her. He marries again and has three children. He gets drunk and finds her kissing another man so he strangles her and stabs her in the genitals then kills the children. As punishment he is implanted with electronic circuits by psychiatrists and sent to blow up a building. He is caught and electro shocked then turned into a human bomb and sent back to his implanters.

Case #34 William Dicks
Time: 1824
The son of a squire is brought to his grandmother’s deathbed. Later, he injures himself and gets his good clothes dirty falling from a tree. He joins the army and sees a cannon crew killed by an explosion. He is later killed by riding an ill-tempered horse who runs him into a tree branch. On his deathbed he realizes the doctor tending to him is really his father.

Case #35 Marianne Christie
Time: 23,064,000,000 years ago
A being landed on a planet with a lot of other beings. Their identity discs were stolen by robots. They were forced to work on new robot bodies so they could get the discs back. 64 million years later the beings were still working on the robots, but they were now robots too. They were enslaved and hypnotized. The being was taken to another planet. On the way they used a lamp to radiate her and motivate her to become pregnant. But the motivation was stronger than intended and she woke from the hypnosis. When they got to the planet she took over a walrus body for a while. The robots were getting suspicious of her and she was tricked into revealing her awareness when a gas was used to make all the robots start coughing. She was shot with a ray gun and the robot body was dumped into space.

Case #36 Jack Campbell
Time: Seventy-six trillion years ago
A being mocked up a pyramid then decided to show the pyramid to other beings. They didn’t appreciate the pyramid so he made another one with a distortion sphere. When he looked inside the sphere he saw himself in the pyramid. The other beings didn’t like this one either. After two trillion years he went back to the original pyramid, ejected it and tried to explode it.

Case #37 John Fudge
Time: 2,000,000,000 years ago
A being goes to a planet where the forces of good are fighting the evil black magic forces. After 74,000 years of battle, implants and hallucinations he loses the fight and joins the black magic side. He goes to another planet on a spaceship where he marries a beautiful girl. After 50 years he discovers the girl was really a robot and she completes his implants.

Case #38 Ann Fox
Time: 3,750 years ago
A man leaves his family to join the space corps in battle where he is assigned to destroy an enemy ship. His one man ship is damaged and he fails in his mission. When he returns home the city where his family lived has been destroyed by the very spaceship to which he was assigned. Later, he finds his girlfriend in bed with another man. He kills the man and his girlfriend hits him from behind with a vase. He scars her face with broken glass from the vase. Then he goes to the temple of an old religion where they insert needles in his brain through the eyes. He is trapped in a glass jar, but free of his body which goes off without him. He is dumped on earth and becomes a Hittite in Anatolia.

Time: 17,543 years ago
A man in the Space Command went to Mars on a secret mission. He was found out by the robots who lived there and was taken away. They bombarded him with particles that cause confusion. Then they put him in a robot body and sent him off to an outpost station in space. It was boring, so he started making his reports into jokes. So they came to take him away then ripped out his circuits and threw him on the scrap heap.

Case #40 Jean Gill
Time: 25,016 years ago
A soldier breaks up with his girlfriend. Then he goes to a briefing room where beams are shot at his solar plexus and genitals, which implant his orders. Needles are pushed behind his eyes and into his ears. He is sent down to kill everybody in a town. He deliberately crashes his spaceship to get rid of his highly implanted body.

Case #41 Alix Stansfield
The commander of a sector of space destroys everything in the sector. He goes in a flying saucer where he is trapped, then to another place where there are lots of television screens. He goes to another saucer which is a storage place for bodies and parts.

Case #42 Carl Jensen
Time: 549 B.C.
The son of a leader of the Pythagorean Order lives in Krotona in southern Italy. A mob seizes his father and ties him to a tree to be burned alive. He gathers members of the order to save him. A battle takes place but the son is unable to save his father. He is stabbed with a spear and dies.

Flag Land Base in Clearwater is open. Members on course are expected to use masks, maintain social distancing and surfaces are being regularly sterilized. Masks are not being worn during auditing sessions. Clearwater is part of Pinellas County, which is experiencing a surge in infections. Florida has not been keeping safe during the pandemic and is one of several U.S. States that are experiencing exponential infection rates. Despite the precautions, it’s not safe to gather together at Flag.

 
One Scientologist has taken to social media to oppose the order by County Commissioners to mandate the use of face masks in public places. The order took effect on June 24. Assigning the Commissioners to the condition of treason is a personal decision by this member and was not made on behalf of the church.

The suppressive impulses of bureaucrats and politicians have been given free reign under the current manufactured crisis. Some of those who might have been restrained before by PR or public pressure considerations have plunged into a gleeful festival of oppression. I speak most particularly today of the six Pinellas County Commissioners who voted to suppress their constituents. I hereby assign the lot of them the condition of TREASON. I, as the rest of you reading this, will know who to vote OUT of office next election.

On another note, the fact that our Church is basically being compelled to play along with the masks-mess in order to continue to deliver freedom to beings is testimony to how insane our governments have become. No Church should have to bend over backwards to please a dictatorial government or give-in to its “the environment is dangerous, BE CAREFUL!” SP line.

The Constitution has been effectively trashed by SP, “captive-brain” scientists, lifetime government bureaucrats and the bogus advice they have fed not only to the public but to so-called leaders in government.

Across the bay in Tampa the org there has also reopened. Tampa is part of Hillsborough County, which is also experiencing a surge in infections. Florida governor Ron DeSantis is rethinking his plan to reopen Florida businesses as the number of infections rises. Until Hillsborough can flatten its infection curve it’s not safe to reopen Tampa org.

Scientology’s other concentration of members is in Los Angeles and the PAC base is open for business, with safety precautions. California is also experiencing a surge in infections and Los Angeles represents nearly half of the total number of cases in the state. It’s not safe to reopen any orgs in Los Angeles and there are Sea Org orgs and Class V orgs across the city.

Auckland org is open for business without safety precautions. Based on New Zealand’s infection curve this is probably not dangerous. The country has been aggressive in bringing the infection rate to near zero.

Melbourne and Perth have reopened in Australia. The Executive Directors of the Foundation and Day orgs appear to be practicing social distancing by not being photographed together. It’s relatively safe to reopen orgs in Australia as the curve there is nearing New Zealand’s level of reduction.

Likewise the Rome org is open. While Italy hasn’t achieved the success of New Zealand, the infection rate that was once among the highest in the world has been reduced dramatically. Paris org has also reopened. France has a similar curve to Italy and both orgs should be relatively safe to visit, with safety precautions.

Our final report comes from Sweden, and both Stockholm and Malmo ideal orgs are open. Alone in western Europe, Sweden has resisted implementing safety precautions and was named by the World Health Organization as one of the countries most likely to see a surge in infection rates. Swedish officials claim this is a misinterpretation and due to the extraordinarily high level of testing the country has been performing. This is untrue, as Sweden’s testing rate is below that of the Cayman Islands, the United Arab Emirates and Iceland. While it’s good to see some precautions are being taken, staff members in this photo are too close to each other, and seem typical of the lax attitude the country has taken to social distancing.

We can only hope that Scientology orgs and missions in countries experiencing the highest increases in coronavirus infections are closed. Other than those in the U.S. the Scientology facilities in Russia, Mexico, Ukraine, the UK and Brazil are particularly at risk.

Laura Prepon doing damage control?

The New York Post’s Michael Kaplan has another good Scientology story out today, and quotes the Underground Bunker a few times. It’s a good roundup of the Danny Masterson case and the civil lawsuit, and we think our readers will be familiar with nearly all of it.

However, buried deep in the story there’s a bit of a bombshell:

“(A source noted that [Laura] Prepon, Danny’s co-star on “That ’70s Show,” is not currently active in the church.)”

A source, huh? Sure, sure.

We’ll just point out that as recently as 2015 Laura Prepon was featured on the cover of Scientology’s ‘Celebrity’ magazine, and with a bonkers interview that got a lot of media attention…

 
Has Laura really backed away from Scientology just recently, or is this media damage control now that the guy who recruited her into Scientology is facing 45 years to life for raping three women?

What are Scientologists being told about the Danny Masterson rape case? Very little. They don’t say “Danny Masterson,” “rape,” or “Scientology.” They’re being told he’s innocent, even if they can’t say his name or mention the charges. They claim it’s all because of the enemies of Scientology. Most of all, members shouldn’t watch or read any news. Also, it’s all because Scientology is winning.

Ryan Prescott is one of those authorized by the Office of Special Affairs to handle the Masterson case. He’s the self-published author of books about people he perceives as enemies of Scientology. He re-packages OSA’s Dead Agent packs into book form. (But even his most positive reviews mention how poor the spelling and grammar are.) His videos reflect the party line, which is to deny everything, but also not even to talk or read about it.

One of my church members are being attacked in the media right now. It’s pretty severe because the media hates us. Now what’s good about this entire situation — I never look at the negative side, I only look at the positive side. What’s good about this is it’ll come out in the open and his name will be cleared and it’ll be totally fine. In the meantime there are a lot of people that are criminals that are taking this opportunity to make millions of dollars off of it. Religious bigots and so on and so forth.

Prescott stresses that nobody should go to the media to find out the details. “I don’t want you to go search things. I don’t want you doing that. That’s not something we want to do right now.” He followed up with another video to stress that the rape case is proof that Scientology is winning.

We are winning like never before. The attackers of my religion are freaking out. And it’s a good thing ‘cause that means we’re winning. If they weren’t freaking out then we wouldn’t be winning. Right, but they’re definitely freaking out and we’re definitely winning. We’re helping so many different people. We’ve hit records. We’re doing things that have never been done before. We need to keep uniting together and have that in mind and have that winning mentality in mind ‘cause that’s exactly what the mindset should be. It shouldn’t be anything other than that. OK, we are winning. We’re doing things that have never been done before and that’s why you’re going to see a lot more noise. And I urge you not to listen to the noise. I urge you to continue to help people. Focus on what you can do right now to improve your life, improve your friends’ lives, help others like right now in your immediate environment. Turn off the news.

This is how Scientology deals with a crisis internally. They instruct their members to ignore the allegations and ignore the involvement of Scientology in the case. Turn off the news. Don’t listen to anything, just think happy thoughts and know that Scientology is winning.

One of the most surprising results of the pandemic and subsequent lockdown has been Scientology’s efforts to put more of its activities on video and online, and in recent weeks we’ve brought you the very strange results of that change. Today, we have two more leaked Scientology videos, this time from Down Under.

First, from the Melbourne org we have Oisin Grogan, a business consultant and owner of $200 Million Business Coach. His presentation “How to turn your child into a genius” focuses entirely on the use of L. Ron Hubbard’s “study tech.” It’s an hour-long video that consists entirely of the three barriers to study Hubbard claimed were the only reasons a person would not be able to learn any subject. They are: Lack of Mass, Too Steep a Gradient, and Misunderstood Words.

 
Meanwhile, CCHR Victoria’s Executive Director Kim Cullen held a webinar briefing for Scientologists this week. She quotes Hubbard that psychiatrists are the sole cause of decline in this universe.

The quote comes from HCO BULLETIN OF 26 AUGUST 1982 – PAIN AND SEX. The full quote is “Under the false data of the psychs (who have been on the track a long time and are the sole cause of decline in this universe) both pain and sex are gaining ground in this society and, coupled with robbery which is a hooded companion of both, may very soon make the land a true jungle of crime.”

 
Cullen goes on to criticize efforts by the national and state officials to provide more mental health care services during the pandemic. She singles out Patrick McGorry, a psychiatrist awarded Australian of the Year in 2010 and member of the Order of Australia. McGorry made news for his model that warns tens of thousands of young people could suffer mental health problems due to the Coronavirus pandemic. “Eighty-two thousand Victorians between 12 and 20 are going under his control,” Cullen says.

Cullen also mentions a video by an OT in Clearwater. The video is “Cultural Destruction and the Role of the Psychs” by Patrick Clouden, who is the CEO of Consumer Energy Solutions.

Clouden’s video is gaining a lot of attention among Scientologists and consists of quotes from Hubbard from the book Freedom Fighter: Articles & Essays. Clouden combines right wing and Scientology conspiracy theories to allege that psychiatrists are out to destroy the US Constitution, end national borders, destroy religions and create a society based on sexual depravity and drug use.

We have a video from CCHR International this week featuring staff members Eitan Celender and Rev. Fred Shaw. The Citizens Commission for Human Rights is a Scientology front that has agitated against the psychiatric profession since 1969, and is easily Scientology’s most brazen and unhinged front group.

In the video, which was meant only for Scientologists, Shaw describes how for years he has infiltrated civil rights organizations such as the NAACP and the National Action Network to promote Scientology’s crusade against psychiatry.

Shaw describes his work as “third partying” between mental health organizations and churches.

One of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard’s theories is that in any conflict between two parties there is a hidden third party instigator. He frequently used the theory to explain away criticism of Scientology, placing the blame on an invisible agitator. By feeding lies to two people or organizations, the third party manufactures a conflict that isn’t in the interest of either main party.

Says Shaw:

There’s people out there who are saying that someone is third partying the churches and mental health. Someone is creating a war between those two groups. And I want to reveal today. That is me. I’m creating the war between mental health and the clergy and the idea is the return back into the hands of the spiritual body the things of mental health issues and to be able to secure a lot of the funding that goes to mental health to come into programs in the various communities so we can save and protect the children against what they’re doing with the mass drugging and electric shock.

It’s a shocking admission that Shaw is acting as a third party agitator, and is lying to American ministers to enlist them in Scientology’s war on psychiatry.

 
Celender provides an overview of CCHR’s activities, recent news about psychiatric medicines and CCHR’s database of psychiatric drug side effects. He highlights the new CCHR web site fightforkids.org and announced the development of a new smartphone app for CCHR.

The end of the call is a fundraiser. Celender claims to have a donor who would match donations up to $2,000. They didn’t make that goal.
