I think Italians have an appreciation for anything expensive. “If you have to pay a lot of money, it must be good”. They might also be a little less skeptical and more enthusiastic about things. Often diving in head-first without planning. Not everyone, but obviously some people.
Now ask me why there are only 100-200 Dutch scientologists:
We are cheap. We are skeptical. We do not like taboos. We are too blunt to be having secrets.
But most of all the cheap part…. hehehe!
