Hanging on the fence how? By chatting with one of Scientology’s top SPs and promoting said SP’s shows? How was that soft-pedaling? Colbert was trying to conduct an interview with a guest and promote whatever book/film/TV show/album/event they had to advertise. What else were you expecting him to do with the short time he had? The monologues are where hosts/comedians come out with full guns blazing, poking fun and making social commentary.

Colbert doesn’t need Scn celebrities as much as they need him to boost their careers. He’s much too popular. They can boycott him for daring to talk with Leah but that’s their loss, not his. I don’t feel he’s holding back anything either. He asked questions and he let Leah do most of the talking/informing. For a brief 8-minute interview, I thought Leah communicated her points well and a few memorable quotes were made.

How about you just start randomly posting one a day or week? Anything with yellow (which you really use with awesome results). I know you’re busy but a web book with a collection of your work (first and last) would be amazing. Hey I’d buy it ;o) Heck a “Bunker Book” with artists like you and Dodo and Obs and all our other fantastic shoop artists (hello Mark!) ‘twould be a mighty thing.
The proceeds could go to fighting the CO$. I’m just sayin’.
