"though she hasn’t ever spoken much about Scientology and don’t expect she is about to begin." em Elisabeth Moss has talked about scientology a lot, and despite saying she wasn't going talk about it anymore, still has continued to talk about it. E.g.,
2012:
Q: As a Scientologist, how do you interpret your church’s stance on gay people?
Moss: One of the most important things I take from my church is the idea of personal freedom and our rights as human beings, and that includes the right to date a man or a woman. Personal freedom is a very important concept in my religion, and I translate that to sexual orientation. If we’re all supposed to have the right to the life that we want to lead, then that should apply to the gay community. There isn’t really any dogma or scripture, yes or no, right or wrong on that particular subject in my church. It’s more open to personal interpretation, and that’s my interpretation.
Q: Is it fair to say that your church’s stance on homosexuality is misunderstood by the media?
Moss: Many of my church’s stances and concepts are grossly misunderstood by the media. It’s a long list.
- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/9149332/Mad-Men-star-Elisabeth-Moss-Ive-learnt-a-lot-about-trusting-people.html Something else her family introduced her to was Scientology, which Moss made a conscious decision to embrace. 'There’s always kind of a time where you need to… It’s not the same thing as going to church on Sunday. It’s self-applied. It involves reading - you have to make a choice.’ Asked what drew her to Scientology, she says, 'Some people say that yoga really helps them to feel centred. And some people feel that being vegan’ – she looks around the café with a knowing look – 'is something that makes them more of themselves. Or Kaballah. Or there’s Buddhism or whatever. I mean, I think that for me it’s one thing that has helped me at times, and it’s kind of as simple as that.’

2013:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZFHx8-7rX0
In 2013, Moss made an exception by discussing Scientology in an interview with Rolling Stone’s Pete Travers.
In the interview, Travers asked Moss how she benefits from Scientology. She told him that her religion “gives her stability and makes her feel like a better version of herself.” Moss later added, “I think that’s a good way of saying it, because there is so much focus on the, I guess, empowerment and, sort of, respecting yourself, and yourself as an individual.”

2014:
http://vulture.com/2014/03/elisabeth-moss-on-mad-mens-final-season.html
She has previously spoken about how the church is personally helpful to her, not anti-gay, and “grossly misunderstood by the media.” But Moss does not talk about Scientology even with friends and seems very comfortable with how uncomfortable it makes other people. “I would feel the same way, honestly,” she says. “I think if there was something that I didn’t know and didn’t understand, I would probably feel as opinionated. You know how you’re opinionated about when someone breaks up? Celebrities break up and you just feel like you know what happened?”

2016:
https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2016/mar/12/elisabeth-moss-interview-mad-men-top-of-the-lake-high-rise-tom-shone
Moss was raised, and remains, a Scientologist. She has long since given up defending the religion, speaking with the honest conviction of someone who knows their own belief to be pure-hearted.
“It is weird for me to be put in the position where I am like, ‘No, I can’t. I don’t really want to talk about this.’ You feel kind of like, I am a nice person who likes to talk about stuff. I also get the curiosity. I get the fascination. I become fascinated with things that are none of my business as well. I am just fascinated when someone breaks up with somebody. I want to know all about it. I am very interested in what people are wearing, and all of that kind of thing, but you have a right to your privacy.”

August 2017:
However, the actor and producer was prompted to speak out after after a fan named as @moelybanks asked her if working on the hit drama had made her “think twice about Scientology”. "That’s actually not true at all about Scientology. Religious freedom and tolerance and understanding the truth and equal rights for every race, religion and creed are extremely important to me. The most important things to me probably. And so Gilead and THT hit me on a very personal level."

My Pleasure, Blueburb. :) If you like Leah Remini's series, this Underground Bunker site is filled with fascinating and heroic stories of survivors of Scientology. It also has a Disqus commenting area. :)
