Sorry for late question but was Annie over missions in 1982 when they were mostly wiped out? It was 1984 or 5 she started auditing me. Gosh, I just have such an urge to find her. My partner and I spent a couple hours looking for where I last saw her. We will go again and I will so love handing her your book!

I’m not sure. You are correct about Guy. Maybe Guy’s FB would give a clue. They had kids I thought. I also thought Suzette was married to Len Williams so I get confused 🙂

Jazzlover (is it John or do I have that wrong?), I can’t tell you how much I feel for you. I know of your great love of family and I know it will never be the same. Is your daughter safe and ok? I guess I should have known it was you from your incisive musical references and humor but your voice seemed different. I now know it is the sadness that you are feeling that allows your vulnerability through in a way that I had not quite seen before.

I know of the sickness of addiction. I am just so sorry it dragged him down before he was able to recover. I recently lost someone close for whom I had been a father figure for several years a lifetime ago. She walked a very hard path with her addiction. A few weeks back there was a gathering to celebrate her life. I helped provide some music and read a poem I had written for her when she just turned 13, 40 years before, on the cusp of her becoming a woman. Although there is no fixing the heartbreak (and I know you will always feel this loss), it was healing to hear about her life from so many perspectives as friends and family created the mosaic of a life in reflection. And that included the dark path that also became a part of her but is not who she really was. Life….so wondrous, and yet sometimes so awful.

I do not have the words to really express my deepest sympathy for you and your family. I know you must be surrounded by family, friends and love and that support is so vital. If there is any way or any thing i can do to help, please let me know. I realize that we don’t really know much about each other’s life but I can feel the depth of feeling in your soul and I am so moved. There is a part of your son that will stay with you always, never fading. It is in your heart that you will carry him forward and in that way he will live on.
