I’m a never-in but my husband was recruited through an employer and we more recently lost a dear family friend to disconnection.

So know what you mean – it was funny at first, feeling a little awkward trying to figure out who everyone was and then as soon as we did it was instant family! I was SO sad for it to end so soon!

Love that you were able to reconnect with some & hear about others. It also feels more like we are actually helping make a difference, with so many of us connected & caring!

I agree. Everyone was so friendly and familiar, it almost felt like family. And I was so happy to run into someone I had known years ago. When we started talking about mutual acquaintances, I was surprised to learn how many are still involved. I have to wonder how many are under the radar because of having kids in. Were you ever involved?
