Hey Pan, since you do post some of your own photos, can you tell me if you need to lock them before posting them in order to prevent people from find out who posted them, getting your IP, etc? I see that Discus doesn’t provide ownership info, but am still confused about the security issue. Thanks for any thoughts you can provide.

I can only hope that the Federal Judge is kicking thru the legal maze that the church crafted. He will give them enough rope to hang themselves. The judge is forcing the church to play the game they invented. I think the cult personality types idea has certain problems. Experts like Margaret Singer have noted anyone can join a cult because the cult LIES.

The front groups pretend to be entirely different than reality. Conspiracy theories have many believers with similar concepts. So cult members get shaped into becoming conspiracy theorists often.

The more obscure the cult and the more covert the indoctrination method the harder it is to avoid. Scientology has front groups in education, human rights, justice reform, drug rehabilitation and a variety of other areas.

Dianetics appears to many as a therapy and you can progress for over a year without any clue what Scientology really is.

By tests cult members are all kinds of people with all kinds of backgrounds before joining and become more similar the deeper they go.

Margaret Singer discussed how every year she got students in college that thought -despite already having studied psychology for years- all cult members have cluster B personality disorders only to discover their assumptions were completely wrong.
