It could cause discord and mistrust, if people rely on these types of celebrities to lead the way. If people are secure in themselves, this won’t happen. As someone who left the Church of Scientology alone and without the support of a group to help me transition from a Scientologist to a former Scientologist to a non-Scientologist, the impact of Marty allowing himself to be sucked in is sad, pathetic and slightly obscene, but does not have that much of an impact. He didn’t help me before and he doesn’t hurt me now. I believe he will live to regret this decision.

It was obvious that Marty is doing steps to restore his status and being directed. The comments on his site are clearly orchestrated. Something is really wrong with this guy. I think that he has mental health issues after years upon years of mental abuse. I pity him. His audience is small and growing smaller day by day.
