I am a “never-in” but have witnessed the devastation of Scientology first hand since the mid 1970s because of a loved one. I have HATED this cult since then but was powerless to do anything about it because I was so young (in my teens). Believe me when I say “hatred” is an understatement about the true depths of my feelings … there are no words strong enough to depict my feelings and beliefs. Over the span of approx 35-37ish years, I have valiantly tried to protect, assist, counsel, support and prop-up my loved one as best I could as they try and pick up the pieces of their SHATTERED soul/life as a result of their involvement in Scientology. I count myself fortunate because I did not lose my loved one to suicide, medical interference (i.e. Lisa McPherson), or an “accidental death” (if you know what I mean). Since I did not know what happens within Scientology (teachings, treatment, badgering, brainwashing, etc), I was ill equiped to truly understand what was going on … which lead me to the Underground Bunker several years ago. I really can’t remember how I literally stumbled upon the knowledge of the site; I think it may have been some cross section of luck and serendipity but because I had NO CLUE about the workings of Scientology (only the awful impact) until I started reading the Underground Bunker on a daily basis which then led me to the other sites and books that covered Scientology … I have been like a sponge soaking up all the data I could to understand what my loved one went through all those years ago because we have never spoken about Scientology because I was too afraid of what those memories might stir up and revictimize them. It has been very hard on me to read all the data and quite honestly I am unable to read all the comments on the daily postings because of the volume of comments alone.

As a result of all this research I have been able to access through the Internet has been a blessing and a curse. Blessing because I now have better insight into what was happening “behind the scenes” sort of speak and can somewhat have “ah ha” moments of understanding of the mental turmoil my loved one has faced in the past and sometimes struggles with even today. It is like I have been able to systematically put the pieces of a terrible NIGHTMARE of a puzzle together as I look back over the years. The curse is that I now realize how many wonderful people and children were mentally raped and physically assaulted under the cloak of a “religious scam” of protection. It makes me SICK that this is still happening today and that the Government believes they are powerless to intercede and have chosen to do nothing in an attempt to curtail or stop it! Then back to the blessings because I am able to confirm that even through Scientology’s best and subversive diabolical practices, “life” still “finds a way”; meaning at some given point, people intuitively take the brave and uncertain leap of faith that they deserve a better life/treatment and take the extreme and dangerous methods to finally leave the cult knowing what is going to happen to them and the loved ones left behind. In my book, these are the true heroes because “but for them” and their stories, society as a whole would HAVE NEVER understood what was happening and never been able to “crowd source” a grassroots movement to expose and undermine Scientology’s despicable practices and hopefully hold them accountable to all the trauma, devastation, and illegal shananigans they have wreaked onto others for the sole purpose of essentially benefiting one (or now 2) MANIAC(S)!

As I have stated before, until recently I have been too chicken to post comments because (a) no one knows me, (b) paranoia of strangers “comes with the territory” because of Scientology’s actual practices and subversiveness (really never understood why my loved one was so paranoid at times but after reading all the stuff I have, I NOW UNDERSTAND what was going on) and (c) I really did not think I could add any value to the comments and the crowd can be really tough on strangers (understandably so … because, you know (one word) … Scientology). But my love for my loved one runs deep as it does wide and I thought if I start communicating with other victims of Scientology that maybe I can help them even more. So I took the big “leap of faith” and dove in …. slowly and sporadically because I, too, need to protect myself and my loved one. You see how Scientology has created this vicious circle that can impede progress and healing!!! It really PISSES ME OFF TO NO END!!! 😠😡 But I am a fighter and I truly belive that eventually “good” can forsake “evil” …. obviously not on my “timetable” (which would have been over 35 years ago at least). But it seems as if the slow tide of exposing this disgusting and subversive organization is gathering more steam and vast exposure is becoming the norm!

Anyway, to make this long story even longer, several weeks ago I read one of your posts where you were having such a bad moment, you posted your phone number.
For me, it demonstrated how vulnerable and urgent your situation was that you publicly posted your number so that everyone knew you were having a crisis. Trust me when I say, “I have been there; done that situation” with my loved one. So when I read that, I was truly very worried and scared in terms of what you were facing. I will tell you I was so concerned I, myself, picked up my phone to call you! But then I thought, “CRAP! Since you don’t know me, I could make the situation even worse” … so I put down the phone but kept reading the comment section focusing on how you were doing and if you were alright. I still have your number (THAT is how concerned I was) because your comment triggered me to the many many times when my loved one faced a vulnerable and upsetting episode and needed someone to talk to.

I was born and raised in Northern California (had to move out of state for my job in the mid 1990s) and noticed that your phone number area code is from California; maybe we have “friends in common” (stranger things have happened right)! So the bottom line is when I read your post comment that you were having a bad day, I again, picked up the phone several times to call you … BUT AGAIN, I was concerned that because I am literally and figuratively a “stranger”, I might make it worse on you because a perfect stranger is calling you out of the blue to make sure you are okay (and only 1 word need be suffice; Scien-fckng-tology)!!

But I just want you to know that I am here for you, if you ever need to talk, just let me know and I will call (I can share with you my story as an outsider looking in trying to help, protect, and support my loved one that has been so victimized by this insidious cult even today) … my thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by this awful and unspeakable organization that victimizes, brutalizes, and bullies others at the expense of THE FEW. The many people who have been able to break away from Scientology and heal their wounds and try to make sense of the trauma they have withstood at the hands of the few people that eagerly and enthusiastically brutalized and victimized them for their own self-serving greed and dominance ARE THE VERY ESSENCE of a hero. And the ones that have been brave enough to publicly share their stories to expose this cult are like the archangels trying to protect society at large from any further devastation to the unwitting people that otherwise would have become ensnared into the dark web of deceit had they NOT BEEN ABLE TO BE EXPOSED TO THE STORIES AND EVENTS OF OTHERS!. For me, there is a special place in “heaven” for these brave and Noble souls.

Hope this makes sense; sorry so long but reading today’s story of events was very impactful …so much so, I was crying reading the two items (Claire’s & Phil/Willie Jone’s segments)! Haven’t gotten to Marc’s item yet; that is next after I post my “novela”!! 😆

Actually, making profits is an essential part of having and paying employees. I sure wouldn’t like that happening.

With the recent actions of the progressives, including attempted murder, he may have good cause to do just that. It would surely get my applause.
