Apparently, if Marty had seen his shadow on 2 February, he would have crawled back into his Saddam-stye spider-hole, but he’d got so puffed up on outrage, self-importance that he either couldn’t se the shadow over his ego’s even bigger shadow, or else he simply didn’t recognize it, as his self-image has slid so very far away from anything resembling cartesian ‘reality’.

Hey D – I’ve had a bunch of “fun” financial stuff hit the last 2 weeks and didn’t want to risk a flight cancelation cuz of the heatwave so I’m carpooling in with MK. So I’ll have my SUV (Acura – has a 3rd row) and I’m happy to help drive people around to stuff to see while I’m there since it’s one of the few things I can offer. If that helps save you from renting a car as much – seriously – I’m happy to! If I put up the 3rd row, I can fit 6 besides me!
