The original early WoW is now referred to as vanilla WoW and there are dedicated private servers just for the original 50 levels. Sometimes I play on them for the memories of the days when it took a week to level up 😛

Its so different from when I played, it almost seems like a different game. But im cool with it so far

My best friend is a fickle gamer and bounces from one new game to the next but I am a loyal gamer who stays with the same mmo for ages – so when he lands on one he really likes he buys it for me so I’m forced to give it a go. Bastard friends and their generous ways! Please do add me. You never know, when the next xpac is released you might have had so much fun that you decide to buy it and we can start together on day one 😀

Not at the moment! 🙁 I have been playing for so long (since early beta back in the day) that I tend to only reactivate my subs when a new expansion is released, then I’ll get a couple of my favourite characters up to the new max level, doing all the new quests along the way (but no dungeons/raids because I don’t want to join a guild after years of running a big raiding guild on Arathor which nearly caused me to have a bloody breakdown with the stress), then I quit again, so I probably only play 1-2 months per year. I do still love it, though. Apart from the Civ franchise it’s the game I’ve played the most over the years. Bnet is telling me my BattleTag is *** so it might be worth seeing if you can add me. Without re-subbing I can’t see which servers I’m on or what my main toon names are (*** is one, iirc) because I paid to change my name and servers when I needed a complete break from the old guild, but the BattleTag might do the job. Let me know 🙂
