Thanks Andrea. That was years ago and he’s all good now, but what an experience for him to live through. That’s the problem with em-pathy. You can feel the torture miles away and years later. It’s a blessing he lived through that and is sharing his energy with us still. 🙂 We have to be grateful for the blessings between the raindrops, I would say. <3

It’s not uncommon in more rural areas. We rarely have more than 1 body in dispatch at a time (county-wide coverage of all emergency services). Sucks, but reality.

The 30 is the sum total. The are probably less than a dozen staff, who live from hand to mouth. The rest are not particularly active. The Org really is bumping along the bottom.

I know what keeps it going. I think I know how to reduce that income too, and am working on it. However, there’s no point in giving them a heads-up, so watch this space 🙂
