This’s is Incredible. I only went to OU because the boy I grew up with and I were together five years 1968-1974 and we were engaged in early 74. I went to a two year college in Mass then went to OU to be with him. He was in the Sports Car Club of America there had a Triumph GT 6 and also got his pilots license there. I did liberal arts so of course I had No idea for a career either. He did geology. The Halloweens were to die for and yes OU partied hearty. Ran all over those rolling hills. My junior first half of the year lived right in town on Oak Street in a big old party house but then moved further out beyond the creepy insane asylum to more country living.I had my silver Capri that Bob & the SCCof A worked on and I would beat BMWs off the line at stop lights. Were they pissed lol. Well my senior year I found out he had stared in and made dozens of porn films while at OU. It was not the porn that shredded me it was that I had stayed a virgin because he wanted that and then I find this out.I was crushed. Suddenly I bought DMSMH & I instantly knew The Sea Org was my new home. I broke up with him in Athens & flew to Hollywood. But it was not the end of my relationship that blinded me to Ron. I generally was pleading to help people become better and happier and I so believed that was my destiny. How very wrong I was.After all I went thru with that gig just posting you here is Heaven Now I have to visit you,we would talk ourselves hoarse. Besides the fact there are 16 states without Scientology orgs, I find it almost weirder that a church that claims to have 15-30 million members has only 90K followers on Twitter, and the vast majorities of posts only have 1 re-tweet (always from the same account- Paris Scientology Center).

OMG .. My twin went to OU.. 1965- 68 .. Gorgeous area.. Gurl that was a party school. And those rollin hills. I would go about once a month from my school Bowling Green, Oh..

We stole cafeteria trays and went down the frozen sidewalk/hill and almost killed ourselves ( Good Times…ha) and of course they were know for their Fabulous Halloween parties.

Just a charming university.. Bittersweet memories though..My first boyfriend who I dearly loved went there and I sent him a dear John letter and he quit on the spot and signed up for Viet Nam. I still feel bad about that.. he came back so f*cked up..

Baby, I lived two years in Athens, Ohio and went to Ohio U now I think it is just Ohio 72-74 but never finished as I left for Hollywood & the Sea Org. Very bucolic and a nice little town when I lived there, but Ron called and foolishly I answered and signed that billion year slave contract! 💖

Yes, I’m a Buckeye (worthless nut) born and bred. I always wanted to be the dot on the I despite never being in a marching band. However, I now live in the Puget Sound area. Seems to me there are lots of Ohioans here.
