thanks, Because of the model thing he did shoots in front of tons of backdrops and with lots of different props, and we did shoots on at least 2 days, one day we went to a park and did several locations outdoors. They let me do several outfit changes and stuff. It was a good deal because I ended up with a great selection and only had to pay for the photos. Mom knows how to shop for a good deal

I believe that all of the fundamentalist groups consider the Mormons not to be Christians because they don’t consider the Book of Mormon to be scripture. As for the JW’s, I don’t remember, but IIRC, they’re considered to be at least weird, if not apostate.

If you follow their premises, you’re gonna lose any debate. As an atheist, I don’t have to prove anything. I just don’t believe the bible is the word of god, or in the devil or any of the other imaginary beings.

The Catholics don’t consider Mormons to be Christians, and they consider the JW’s to have misinterpreted the bible. Therefore, they are apostates and not really Christians.

Of course, both the JW’s and the Mormons consider themselves to be Christians. The JW’s will tell you upfront what they believe, but the Mormons don’t reveal everything they believe, until you get thoroughly indoctrinated, similar to $cientology.

I pretty much would say that the rest of Christian sects don’t consider both to be Christians.

Back to disconnection: The different branches of what we call Amish have different types of disconnection. Some refuse to even talk to people who have left, and others allow some communication, but don’t allow them to live in their communities.

Just to make the conversation more interesting, my friends and colleagues of various Christian backgrounds say that they do not consider LDS or JW to be Christian whatsoever. Their reasoning varied based on belief system but it seemed pretty clear they as a whole felt this way.
FYI, as an agnostic, I was out of my league when they started in on explanations.
