My objection to the people promoting Chinese School is that is the predominant method, with most of the time spent on it.

I agree that rote learning is valuable, but that it should only be one part of the learning process. It also doesn’t work for some people.

We certainly did. But for having “49” immediately pop into my head when confronted with “7×7” and so on, the loud vocal repetition was effective.

I live close to Palm Springs and Palm Desert, where there are a number of wealthy car people. I’ve seen a couple of the newest Lotuses around, but rarely.

Years ago, I can remember seeing Elites and Elans at sports car events when I lived in other places in So. California.

He is a big fan of Lotuses. Stories on the Lotus forum from drivers all over So Cal where he frequently stops Lotus drivers to talk to about their cars. Some he chased down so he could talk cars.

I’d like to have the original Super Seven they had in the lineup. When we first started autocross I got we saw them at the bigger events. Ow they are all put away as collector items. I would love one to drive my grandson to soccer practice and to the grocery store.
I imagine the conversation with my suburban cops…

We have a very active British Sports Car Club here, but we are the only Lotus owners. We had a dealer for the new models a few years ago and still only saw a few around…and we were at the sports car events where those types gravitate.
