Although I am, indeed, a lifelong Republican, I barely recognize the GOP today. It has gone so far off the rails that the advent of Trump was more inevitable than an anomaly. As Daisy says, he is not a Republican, he is a narcissist. But the fact that he has so easily co-opted the Republican leadership and base shows how low the party has sunk. I don’t know how much longer I can put up with this. It’s embarrassing. (And that’s the most printable term I could find.)

If so, how does it make them stronger?

I have heard a good number of former Scn. say that their experience with Scn. has, in fact, made them stronger… the ones who survived it, mentally, spiritually, financially, emotionally,
feel that they are not such easy targets any more. They are not so easily taken in by other scams now.
But, and this is key, this ability comes with a serious & heavy price:
disconnection being what it is,
being declared being what it is,
SP/PTS doctrine being what it is,
Fair Game being what it is —
BEING LIED TO SO THOROUGHLY.

All these cruel problems & rules created by Ron, the game-maker…
who didn’t have to play by the rules himself. Neither does David Miscavige – he the rule-maker now. He’s even more of a chicken shit than Ron was, ffs! Hiding, always hiding, the leaders of this group.

LRH forces these problems upon them… after so much time, energy, money & effort & thought put forward towards understanding Hubbard’s case.
His case was shitty. His tech didn’t help him, not when you look at how he lived his life.

Also many ex-scn. have loss of the ability to trust ppl.
Here there is sorrow again.

My conclusion after many years of listening to lots of ppl who have been devoted to LRH’s thought-system & methods is this: Anyone who gets close to LRH, any person who allows Hubbard into their minds & their hearts & souls, gets hurt… deep inside.

Observe his own wives & children, his own ‘friends’, his adherents, (the best students! the ones who paid the most money)
all his Players, Assistants, his Pieces & his broken Pieces.
His organization uses & abuses them. What a rip-off.

If Scn. were true, after 60 years, there would be Clears & OTs, spiritually advanced ppl EVERYWHERE & ppl would be busting down the doors to get in. Not happening tho, is it?!
Cause Over Life ppl don’t exist. Scn. has not made them.
Scientology does not deliver what it promises.
OR! If folks like this do exist, they are kept tightly trapped inside the organizations & are therefore never able to actually do the job of “clearing the planet”. wth.
