I love the postcards idea! How cool would it be to set up a group of volunteers (the more the merrier..can you imagine having like a thousand people?!), and whenever someone is attempting to touch base with a loved one, send out an email blast to the volunteers who then each send out a postcard? Sure, they may just throw them out but if a lot of people did it the act would certainly be noticed.

That’s so simple to do- I have one set up for my company where I turn it on and after hours it goes through to my cell phone, never revealing my actual #. There are a ton of websites/companies that offer the service. I think I pay $ 1.95 a month for it and you control the settings from your account online. They give you a number and everything.
