Phil & Willie – SO sorry we missed yesterday! Kids and I cam down w/flu on Fri so I didn’t have it in me to go stand in the rain, but today I feel terrible about missing it! Ugh we’ve been sick way too much this paste 6mos! If anyone plans any future dates where you’d like people to be there to have people there to hand out flyers and talk to passersby, let me know. We should be back to better health in a few days. HUGS!

I’m originally from Akron too! You’re so right about the lake effect, all that cloudiness can really get you down. Right now we’re enjoying one of those rare sunny winter days. The downside is that it’s about 10 degrees. Brrrr!

There’s more to do in Lakewood than in Wadsworth, for sure. I’m from Akron and the “lake effect” weather got me every year: no sun from November to May, just grey, grey, grey. When I moved to New York, it cracked me up when people would complain about two cloudy days in a row.
