absolutely, that was my overriding argument from the beginning. how in the world could anyone trust him with the nuke codes??? SMH. what is disturbing me most is not only has he proven he doesn’t have the temperment, now he’s appointing people to his cabinet that are seemingly designed to destroy the very departments they’re supposed to oversee. at this point i am grateful for our beauracracy because the civil service will be able to resist his initiatives from within, to a point that implementation of his policies can be slowed or ground to a halt. i know a lot of folks in government due to my background and that’s the plan – slow and obstruct from within until he can be gotten rid of. i have no doubt that impeachment proceedings will be brought within 6 months, but then we get pence! ugh. at least i don’t think he’d start ww3.

i don’t disagree with you. he has already committed impeachable offenses, but there’s no constitutional mechanism for preventing him from taking office at this point and impeachment must wait until he’s sworn in. and believe me, it’s not an optimistic view. it’s just what HAS to happen.

Every time I’ve been with her, Tory hasn’t needed a big brother. She always makes sure that there’s someone close by to witness what goes on.

Story (I wasn’t there)
Tory was getting off the subway at the Universal Studios stop, and had a bunch of kids following her up the escalator, swearing away. One of them noticed her, and said, “Hey, watch your language. There’s a lady here.”

Tory turned around and said, “Fuck you.” They all cracked up. They continued on to the final part of the trip to street level, which is an elevator. They all piled into an elevator, along with a lot of people who worked in Universal City.

The kids, wise to Tory, started up again, and one of them again said, “Hey, watch your language, there’s a lady present.”

Tory, knowing that was her cue, turned around and said, “Fuck youl” The whole elevator cracked up.

Tory then explained that she was in the cult or $cientology for 30 years, and that $cientologist swear like sailors, but she’s out, and happy for it.

When she got out of the elevator, some of the people thanked her and others stopped and shook her hand, too.

If Tory was a born-again Christian, I’d call that witnessing, but it’s never obnoxious with her. She takes every opportunity to let people know how fucked up $cientology is. She’s a one woman PR campaign.

When you first told me that story I have imagined the whole scene in my head. I still chuckle when I imagine * those * words coming out of that sweet mouth. I am glad she has such a good big brother looking out for her.

I ‘m pretty much a hanger-on. Tory is fearless, but she also makes sure that she’s safe. She was protesting when few were and Co$ was not only verbally but physically aggressive. When I first saw her on video, I thought she was this pleasant lady who had important things to say, but when I met her and saw her in action, I discovered she knows how to get through the veil of conditioning that $cientologists are subjected to.

The first time I protested with her, In her sweet, calm voice, she asked the security guard, “Do you know ______?” He nodded yes. “Next time you see him, you can tell him TO GO, FUCK HIMSELF.” It was hilarious.
