Tracy, I dig in the trash at the PO for coupons sometimes (Harbor Freight mostly). One time I kept and read a high quality 30page promotion 8×10 booklet published monthly by some religion I forget. It was all a pitch for donations for real-estate etc. for the church. And I could right-off see that it was a cult. That was a year ago. It surprises me to realize that I just recently started to see that the CofS promo is the same! Its taken me a f**k of a long time 6+ years to even wake that far up out of this church. Unbelievable when I fathom the depths of the misconception and lies that abound ‘ol man Hubbard. Thanks for adding to the scenario that WILL happen 🙂 and speaking out on this behalf.

One of my all time favorites.

Back in the 70s some bank lending officers were well known as easy targets to make loans which ended up in Scientology coffers.
And on the free wind and at Flag the wealthier scientolosts were also hinted towards as potential lender marks. Hubbard bred into the organization a money extraction machine. IIRC I think one of the ED’s stats was Gross Income divided by staff.

Still one of the best movies.
