I am so sorry for your granddaughter. I am however happy she got diagnosed. I was always tired, always coming down with something. I never understood why I was so tired every morning. Why I was different than everyone else. They just seemed to be strong, and I wasn’t, but I didn’t know why. At least she knows, and she has a shot at some treatment now. And she can probably build more stamina by gentle exercise (like walking for 20 min), that will help her in the long run.
Knowledge is power! And how lucky is she to have your support? I know that having a sister that has some of the same symptoms, especially aphasia, has made life easier.
Anyway, you would have loved Amelia Island. One night I made face masks, and we ordered prosecco. We had a quiet condo away from the main resort, but we could still order room service! It was nicer than any house I’ve ever lived in. It was just a few days, but it was the only vacation I’ve had in years.

My 16 Granddaughter was just diagnosed with ED by a specialist. Of course with that comes the Chronic Fatigue.. ( You, My Daughter, My Granddaughter and me) What a crew. People just don’t understand.
