My return to Upstate New York became one of the best adventures I’ve ever had, especially since I knew not what sat around the next corner.

I’ve posted to FB pictures of the first snow storm of the season, but I had to mingle with them some unpublished shots from last October. Winter is beautiful (if you don’t mind black and white), but it’s Autumn that commands the colors.

Thank you for letting me know I can look to you for a bit of help if and when I return to Southern California.

Wow so your trip “home” sounds like a tough, painful but cathartic one! I’m glad you’re able to see it that way and I can’t wait to see your winter pics. Do you still have family there?

As for doors open out here – of COURSE! And if/when that time comes, find a way to let me know (if you don’t want it public knowledge) and I’m happy to help research and find resources for you out here ahead of time, from housing and such to whatever you may need. I’m totally serious!
