No that’s not why you reject anything that anybody says who has been in the reporting business for years. You rejected every professional journalist (except Tony– I don’t know why you haven’t rejected him yet) in favor of Russian propagandists and inventive psychotics a long time before this particular incident happened, and the only reason you think the generally received account of what happened is a “deliberate lie” or that it was “perpetrated by the US government” is because you have already determined which sources to reject and which to swallow without question. I read it… it’s still open now. And is factually inaccurate. There is zero evidence that Syrian army/Assad or the Russians were responsible for the UN aid convoy destruction… however there IS drone footage showing a rebel truck carrying a mortar driving along side it before it was destroyed, parked in line waiting to unload. There were no craters or damage to the roads that would be there had it been an air/rocket attack, nor was there damage to the skeletons of the trucks consistent with such attacks. So, the rebels were there, and they only evidence we see from their footage (White Helmets that plenty of evidence show are actually militants associated with ISIS and Al Nusra) is that there was fire. They set the trucks and cargo on fire – set up propaganda photographs showing an old mortar shell with supposed cargo that appeared undamaged sprinkled around it.
The UN report was inconclusive… they do not know for sure who was responsible… so why is your lying government pretending there is evidence when none has ever been provided? The ceasefire, therefore, was not broken by Russia or Assad… because the UN aid trucks were not destroyed by those bound by the agreement in the first place. And that aside… under a ceasefire, to which the US government was in agreement, the US led coalition bombed Syrian troops… cried ‘oops’, our mistake… then swiftly set up the UN aid truck attack. The truth will eventually surface for you, where you can no longer keep your head in the sand, and you’ll be forced to realise your own culpability in supporting the criminal element of your heinous government.
