That humor is the best because it is not forced, It comes naturally. I bet you are a good story teller. My mom is similar, she is the only women who has never told a joke in her life and yet she is by far the most hilarious person i know. She is also funny because she never gets a joke either. I appreciated the advice of getting a lawyer. i was so out of my depth. Now we both sleep fine .

I’ll let you into the secret about the ‘sly comedy’. The posts of mine that people find funny are always the ones where I’m just telling it as it appears to me, and I’m not trying to be funny at all.

My limited experience with the law suggests that, if you have good representation, it seems like an endless process but you do get there in the end. Good luck, in any case.

I think I mentioned a fraud mom and I got caught in They had an investigation by W5 ( well respected new magazine in Canada ) of
that very fraud co. and owner. I phoned the lawyer on TV and we are in a 10,000 person class action. I also had paralegal look into as well. She is doing it pro bono unless there are court charges. We are very lucky we stopped on the cheques and only have to replace a hardwood floor for damage putting in the air conditioner

And the East German regime. They thought they has the technology (paper shredders) to destroy the evidence . However, when they needed to they:

a) Didn’t have time to shred it all
b) Couldn’t imagine that volunteers would develop an advanced computer program and (under its direction) literally paste shredded documents back together again.

All totalitarian regimes seem to believe that they will last for ever (“The Reich that will last a thousand years”, for example) and get caught out by their own arrogance.
